The fact a dev was doing a geck tutorial on the active Broken steel dev build of the game and left the grenade launcher he scratch made in the finished dlc build is insanely funny
I always found the beta Tesla Cannon to be really weird. Its a buggy mess of a gun that's just sitting on a table only barely beyond the map edges waiting to be picked up.
Excalibur was NOT the sword in the stone. That was Caliburn, which broke and was replaced by Excalibur, which was presented to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake.
11:09 oh i was thinking since it wasnt doing damage the mirelurk bait grenade would of been used during moira’s mission to not hurt the mirelurks when placing the observation device down like just a tool to get them off of you
I think "Lawdog" might be a reference to the movie "Tombstone". there is a somewhat famous line wherein a bad guy sez to Wyatt Earp - "Law don't go around here, Lawdog."
@@crakkbone I mean it is funny that it sounds like Raw Dog. But it probably really is a reference to Tombestone. Its a famous movie about cowboys, and the gun is a revolver.
Another possible (though perhaps unlikely) original intention behind the Mirelurk Bait Grenade could maybe have been something like Half-Life 2's "Bugbait", which under certain circumstances, could be used to summon friendly Antlions to aid you in combat. Not sure how such a thing could work with Mirelurks; the Half-Life version justifies itself because Antlions will burrow through the floor to your position, so a hypothetical Fallout version would probably make more sense with Radroaches than the lumbering crustacean men - for all we know, maybe that's why it was cut.
All these weapons look really cool. I wish the unique assault rifle, Wanda wasn’t cut from the game. The Assault Rifle in F3 looks pretty cool and it deserves a legendary named weapon. Plus I wish you didn’t have to blow up the Citadel to get Callahan the 44 Magnum(love the Dirty Harry reference lol 😂). It would look better without the scope.
I always feel bad for the ones who made content for the game, that got included, but then the game was broken, and bugged so bad, their creation was essentially useless lol So,most Bethesda stuff.
I absolutey despise when youtubers talk about a sound but then dont actually play the sound, like why talk about the sound of something if you're not gonna let us hear it, I don't want to boot up the game or look up another youtube video just to hear it, just play the sound effect with editing!
The Cryolator in fallout 4 was on my mind lately, mainly because I was seperating off a section of vault 88 for a new armory. I do not think the ceyolator will fit in any weapons rack
Just a super nerdy correction here 🤓 Um, Actually - The sword in the stone isn't Excalibur (Caledfwlch, Caladbolg, etc etc). There's some debate about the name of the sword in the stone, some claiming 'Caliburn / Caliburnus', but others say that name is just derived from Caledfwlch and led to the name 'Excalibur' for the sword given by the Lady of the Lake! And of course, because it's all from legend and there's differences found in the many many writings, some versions have the two swords as one and the same... I just felt like being a huge nerd while I had the chance! 🤓 Anyway, great video! New N_orte content always makes my day!
The vault they walk you through creating in a GECK tutorial is in the New Vegas game files. I guess that's what they did first and never went back to delete it or start over.
O'Grady wasn't actually cut from the Xbox 360 version I have encountered him multiple times when starting a new game but he is also the only friendly vault security.
When you say whacky, do you mean using ideas outside the box? What if it is not a weapon but something like an object like a pitching machine from a baseball dugout, used in fallout 4, as an automated targeted grenade, explosive and mine thrower, that you can either have on a pressure switch, a lever, a gun target so you can turn it on and off from vast distances, and even a counter or delay timer, Then you pair it up with a farm with a couple cows, and an automated crafter for explosives......... Try it some time, its very fun, but make sure you save your game before you begin construction, explosives are expensive and too many going off at once will crash your game Keep it to maybe 10 to 20
@@cretinhisterian Ah. My bad. I'm sorry, my brain's just fried from existing. Should I delete this comment so I don't look like too much of an idiot, or leave it to show the world how immature I really am?
Jesús fallpyt 3 had as mutch cut weapon content as fallout 4 nearly has as base weapon variety....one of my biggest gripes with that game honestly. Gameplay is great! Feel free to use 1 of the 6 weapons avilable of which 2 are ugly pipe bullshit.
A "knocked up" legendary effect would be AMAZING! Shoot your target, and it implants them with a rapidly growing mirelurk egg, that explodes from within like an Alien lol
Fallout 76 has the bloatfly larva syringe as a craftable dart for the Syringer. Enemies hit with it have a bloatfly burst from them upon death. Not quite as "Face Hugger-y" as mirelurks but definitely "chest burster-y"!

Law dog is the nickname for a cop. They are the laws attack dogs.

I love that some of the mentioned features appeared in Fallout New Vegas
They had to use absolutely everything they could to meet the insane deadline impose by Bethesda

This was exactly my thought aswell, as soon as I heard the name.
Agreed. I was thinking of the ant lion bait or the bait item from far cry that summons local wildlife to fight.

I always feel bad for the people that made/did the art of cut content
Why? It was a job. They did their job and got compensated for it.
I only feel bad for the girl who only had 1 of her pieces of art on fnv
I think it was one of the graffiti things on bos bunker
It makes me long for what we could have had 😢
Almost all game developers?

3 is probably my favorite
Law dog is just means a cop
Yep cops are the laws attack dogs.
The concussion grenade is probably linked to the flash bang you walk into from the enclave

Yep the sword in the stone was the sword of the king. Excalibur was given to Arthur when he (in his arrogance) broke it.

law dog is an old timey slang for a police officer
Lighting gun will always be my favorite cut weapon
1:35 it's also in fallout new vegas
That barrel at the end
Honestly the combat shotgun makes way more sense as a grande launcher.
Excalibur is the sword given to Arthur by the lady of the lake. sword in the stone was different. Its name was probably bob or anduril or something
One of the most famous curses is the Curse of the Bambino. Another famous curse is the Curse of the Goat.
My go-to is the Curse of Shoeless Joe, starting from the 1919 World Series scandal.
What is the name of the music you are using in the background?

Law Dog…Three Dog
9:33 Raw dog. The name of this revolver is probably a play on a term that probably would've gotten you demonetized.
No it's reference to an old western term for cops. Calling them dogs of the law

I usually watch your vids on my tv so I dont' comment but I really love your stuff man. Please keep it up I appreciate the heck out of you.
Is this a reupload?
I dont think so. He did make a video on fallout 3's unique weapons so maybe you're missremembering?
FNV has the best weapon selection and the ammo types were a great addition
I'm sure you've probably heard of it but the Tale of Two Wastelands mod fully implements the Fallout 3 Cryolator and its pretty awesome
AR does not mean Assault Rifle.
wait the world series 2077 bat is in fallout 4 isn’t that a unique?
im really sorry Nort but man putting it on 1.25x speed really helped keeping my attention. much love tho! love the content
