It's sad that the Hi-level instrument panel that was advertised in the higher trims of the Bronco only found itself here. Who the heck needs 2 speedos & a vertical bar tach? This also comes with the upgraded steering components the Sasquatch equipped Bronco's should of had.

Ford is killing it!.. The F-150 Raptor, the Bronco, this Bronco Raptor, AND confirmed US market Ranger Raptor in coming in US!!... I favor Toyota 4x4s, but Ford definitely has my attention!... A Ford Raptor family member might join my 4x4 collection!... My husband and I do long range overland exploring, from our home in BC, to northern Canada, to Alaska and down to west-midwest US states!.. We always using Toyotas, but both agree that we want to try something new that isn't a Jeep Wrangler.. The Bronco fell short of our interest, but this wider Bronco Raptor and the wider track has our attention!.. Look at how comfortable it is on the hardest lines.. Nice! Why the camo, after already showing the Bronco Raptor?... Seems weirdly pointless lol
Durability testing should be finding limits, breaking things, and improving a finished product. Seems like they took it easy on these vehicles. Not to say the trails used weren’t difficult or that the raptor is not capable.
If you pay attention, they intentionally took the bad lines to put stress on the skid plates fenders. You can also see where they intentionally put horizontal stress in the front suspension. They have been have been having issues with the tie rod ball joints breaking. They are also taking it slow to tune the "trail control". You can see some of the broncos with computers. Also, when going this slow and when demanding low end torque, you are creating a lot of heat, so they are probably testing the cooling system. In other videos you can see they are testing other aspects of the vehicle. Ford is a multi-billion dollar company, if you have the idea, im sure they've already tested it.
You can literally see them intentionally working the steering wheel when there's a ton of load on the front tires(given that the standard Bronco's steering rack is a weak link) - you aren't seeing them breaking parts because... the parts, like that steering rack, aren't breaking.
I Don't want to sound rude, but are those professional drivers? It looks like they don't drive that well and that the tires have too much air for such terrain.
Durability testing is very methodical and intentional. The vehicles are put in specific scenarios to collect specific data that helps to tune and program the various drive systems. This can definitely make it seem like the drivers don't know what they are doing but everyone is trained, there are professional spotters, and data is collected from the various obstacles and situations the vehicle is put in.
Can’t wait to see some of these out on the trails. One day. Maybe. Meanwhile us jeep guys will keep wheeling and waiting🤷🏼♂️. These broncos look cool though.
I don't know if anybody can answer this question. My Bronco that I ordered (still parked in Dearborn, MI lot) is a Cyber Orange 2door Badlands edition. I've had both hips replaced and I have a broken knee that they won't repair for medical reasons. Anyhow, I've spoken with several people at Ford Canada and they don't know if there's wiring in the rock rails (sliders) that are on it standard. I've also heard from people here on UA-cam say that u can't drill into them because there's wiring inside them. If that's true, would I be able to have someone weld a couple of small steps on the rock rails? If anybody could provide me with info regarding this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
I’m fairly certain there is no wiring in the rock sliders, as both sides have plastic caps on them, I don’t see how any wiring could be running through them. I’ve never heard of rock sliders ever having wiring running through them, you should be good to go! Also, I have a bronco and just from a visual inspection I don’t see any wiring running into or out of the sliders.
I've really never understood why people find crawling over large rocks at 1 mph fun. I'm all for off-raoding, but this has always seemed like tediousness. Give me Baja racing or driving through mountainoeous roads on the edge of a cliff over this.
