That has to be the most extreme off road course ever set up by a manufacturer for the press. I bet the press people were terrified! But that baja part was a blast!
g63 4x4 had harder offroad course.
I bet a lot of press didn’t do this course, this is crazy technical
@@MarkPharaoh Yeah, even the Bronco Raptor was being put up to its paces
You should watch the sxs blog at the Polaris turbo s release. I can’t believe people werent killed.
Jeep hauled tons of press out to the rubicon trail in stock wranglers.
How Tommy could do great commentary on such a technical press course is absolutely astounding. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The fact this is a factory vehicle is unbelievable. The times we live in!
Thet new Ford Bronco is going to conquer Europe....
THIS is an award winning video!! The way Tommy was able to handle this very technical course without skipping a beat in his commentary is just amazing!! Give the guy a raise!!
Talk about an intense press trip. The rock segment was nuts. I'm surprised they went for something that difficult, but how awesome is that!
Great work!
They really stuck to the "go big or go home" model
Tommy this on is by far your best video ever. With all due respect I think no one in the TFL team could have donde a better job. Congratulations. Epic vehicle, epic video.
That is a SERIOUS rock crawling route for a stock vehicle.
And if you've never had the vehicle to do 75+ over the sandy dirt around Moab, Johnson Valley, or similar areas, you're missing out on the most fun you can have offroad.
The Bronco Raptor is literally the off-road version of the F1 car.
That's what I plan to do. I want to get the Raptor Ranger and go out to Moab and Johnson Valley and do high speed offroading
I'm planning on doing that with my Gen 2 Raptor soon. I've done a few off road trails, but no high speed desert trails yet.

Always nice to see a stock vehicle that can jump. It's a lot harder than many think for a vehicle to survive a jump without something breaking.
Not true. The surplus Dodge cop car in Blues Brothers jumped that draw bridge aok.
@@pleaseadoptus that’s because it had cop suspension haha
As a Ford engineer said “jumping is easy it’s the landing that’s hard”.
It depends. This was jump with very smooth landing, landing at angle. Any suv would survive that jump done properly, but of course having that raptor suspension makes big difference on how u and car will "feel" it
@@Angry-Lynx Yeah, I once accidently jumped a 1985 Suburban through a high crown intersection. It was no problem, gentle landing. I must have been interesting to watch for everyone else at the intersection some giant SUV with windsurf boards on the roof flying through the air. The fun part was the wheels chirping when they hit the road again.
The exhaust note reminds me of a Lancia Stratos with its Ferrari 6cyl. I know most people love that V8 sound but man that engine sounds like a banshee in its element. It just looks like so much fun.
v8 would make it nose dive during a jump.
It's good, but not enough revs- and boost falls off too high in the rev range. Needs a Coyote to be perfect
@@mohammadzohorul8887 a ls wouldn't
@@guamazolopez6456 unless it's lighter than that V6, It probably would.
@@burgerbandit3646 a ls is only 300lbs and a v6 with all the complicated internals they put to give them more power can get to thst weight
Best Braptor review yet Tommy. .. if their were an Oscar for the category, you won it hands down. makes me even more excited about the one I have ordered. Code orange btw…. Keep up the great content you provide. 1st class all the way. 👍
This was a fantastic video. Tommy you were spot on with the commentary as you were concentrating on such technical driving. And yes of course Cole was spot on as your camera guy. The editing team. And I give credit where credit is due. The Bronco is no joke. Stock it can do things that most other vehicles have to be heavily modified for. I know my stock 4Runner would have never been able to rock crawl those boulders. (angles are not competitive) I still wonder about the long term reliability of the Bronco, but only years will tell that story. I envy you on this day Tommy. That would have been a blast to experience that event. 🙂
Wow, big props to Ford for not only making the Bronco, but for allowing the press on such a technical course. Their insurance company must have been on edge about the whole thing.
Wonderful exciting day of Bronco bashing. And as a viewer it was a joy to watch Tommy. Always great commentry with the reviews and even here as you speed through the desert. Thank you Ford for allowing this amazing day to happen. Now to find 80 grand.
During the Baja portion, the only thing you would've heard out of me would be sounds. Woohoo! Ya! Oh, man!
Tommy is spitting out stats rapid fire. What a pro!
Tommy you have gotten incredible with your commentary! Great video and great job bud! 👌🏿
wow that was impressive, the rock crawling was just sick and high speed looked so smooth!!
Fantastic narration, Tommy!
I’m jealous as hell!!! That looks like complete FUN!!!!
What shithole do u live in?
What an incredible machine. Thanks for the video!
I like the sound of that engine
By far the most exciting video I’ve seen you do. You waited your whole life for this. Congratulations
Love the detailed undercarriage view at 7:27
Not going to lie. I’m impressed. They did their homework and it shows.
It looks amazing when it flex’s it’s suspension
The helmet works dude! It should make more appearances just for fun lol!!
Still boggles the mind that you can buy vehicles from the factory, with 37" tires. The suspension on that Bronco is insane!
And on this thing, it’s not even an option. It only comes with 37s
I REALLY enjoyed the pure joy you showed us on the desert run pal. Awesome video!
I've always thought Tommy has leaned more towards Jeep but this video it really shows how Bronco just blew his mind.
Tommy is such a great presenter. Being able to put together coherent sentences while ripping across the desert floor at 60 mph is impressive.
In age of soccer mom SUVs id say they deserve some respect for creating truck with some better suspension, looks like relatively decent effort.
They could do much more with suspension, its nothing crazy really, but again at least there was some good/proper intention.
Suspensions are the most overlooked element in nowadays cars imo, while being one of the most important.
WOW that was awesome.
That articulation and tire clearance on the rocks was better than I expected.
What a magnificent machine. What a time to be alive as an off-road enthusiast!
Masterful job Tommy. Great multitasking. You’ve really come into your own and are doing an amazing job on these videos.
Impressive performance! I love it, thank you so much for sharing!
I can't be the only one watching this that is insanely jealous of you right now Tommy. That looked like a complete blast, and if that doesn't make you want a Bronco Raptor, check your pulse!
I remember seeing a comment on TFL's livestream with their own press loaner Bronco Raptor calling it a "soft-roader"... if crawling over bloody rocks or boulders is soft-roading, then I clearly I know nothing about off-roading.
Great video Tommy, they joy you were experiencing really looked genuine. It makes me want one bad
Wow what a great video! I've really been looking forward to your Bronco Raptor videos since hearing you talk about them on All Terrain Nation last night and was not disappointed. Anxiously awaiting the rest.
Incredible commentary with details about the truck as Tommy is rock crawling and racing in the desert. Impressive.
Great job Tommy....Let's slap a number and some sponsor stickers on one of those things and let's go desert racing!!!
Tommy u r brave..just seeing the video,I’m on the edge..well built ford..👍🏻👍🏻..Nathan,u need to try a trail like this..mind ur legs matey!!😜😜
I’d like to hear that same high speed running with no comments, just the Bronco noise😉. Great video Tommy.
Everyone, this is how you review, drive and commentate. Take note. Great job TFLOffroad
Beautiful shots and that thing looks like a blast. Great video!
Very cool, enjoyed that. The Bronco Raptor sure is special.
Wow. That looked fun. I'm impressed.
I love how in these Bronco Raptor videos your faces are either scared, concentrating or mostly just flat out smiling and laughing !!
Impressive driving Tommy, great job on the video.
The Ford Bronco is a real off- roader for all conditions and the most demanding surfaces....Advanced terrain management system ( Terrain Management) ...is getting ready to conquer Europe....great, amazing...
Looking good in that Code Orange Ford Bronco Raptor! 😎🍷🛻
You are getting really good at this Tommy. You are among the best.
Great video! Looked like a ton of fun.
Looks like so much fun I'm jealous.
These vehicles are so good that they are surpassing many people's abilities. 700 hp+ hellcats and serious off roaders. What a great time to be a car guy!
Fantastic video, Tommy!!
Looks like they gave you the Bronco that the guys from Throttle House had (notice the dented step) haha
I can accept that the tires need covered, that's all good, I just wish they did it 50/50 fender and flare to split the difference so it didn't look so much like an afterthought.
Im sure the aftermarket already has some good solutions in the works to fix that.
I think I heard the reason was that they couldn't go any wider on the body because of the limitations of the factory machines that make the body.
She's a bit ugly for sure, but I do appreciate Fords pure performance oriented design philosophy. They built this the way you would a purpose built Baja truck. If you are actually off roading this thing, sooner or later those fenders are going to get ripped off or damaged. Much easier to replace a big plastic flare than a smaller flare + a body colored fender. The flare keeps the expensive bits out of harms way.
Thought that adding matching body colored paint on the inner region of the fender would blend the look
@@EdWebster yeah that's what I heard It was a width issue with the machines. That didn't allow them to paint the fenders body color.
Great job Tommy!!
6:50 the bronco raptor is insane. It’s a mountain goat on wheels. WOW
Looks like a ton of fun!
Great driving.
EPIC episode Tommy…👍🐴🐴🥌🍍🥓🤟
Awesome video awesome machine!
Awesome video Tommy!
Nice job Tommy! It looks like you had fun doing this.
Like a Rally Sport announcer without the cheeky British accent. =D
Amazing test! 👍💪👏
What a good time🤩😊 .... Lucky Man Tommy Lucky Man 👍👍
Great work!
Cool to see they did the event at a real trail. Even got to kiss the skids a couple times. I don't expect anything super extreme for these evenst, but I remember the original Bronco press event was super mild.
That was awesome looked like a great time 🙃
Now that's a course !
Great video.....I want a Bronco Raptor
You’re out in my home area. Welcome TFL Truck.
Awesome review!
Tommy youre a fccin pro at this job. The dialog going 60 baja style was nuts. I wouldnt be able to talk.
Crazy SUV and TOP
Fantastic Video!
Tommy you need this for yourself!!!!!
My previous car, a Ford Fiesta 1.4 auto had an over-protective ecu, when it downshifted from 2nd to 1st at 10mph it lurched so hard you had to push the steering wheel away from you, yet 1st to 2nd was smooth even at redline. Contrast that with my current Honda Jazz Sport 1.5 and it’s like night and day. 🚗 (Can’t rock crawl, though UK roads aren’t that bad yet). Great channel btw.
That looks awesome! I just want a Badlands… I’m a Ford guy, but may be buying a 392 Wrangler because they can be bought off the lot at MSRP. it’s not easy to find at MSRP, but a lot easier then the Badlands.
You'll love your 392 my buddy has one , and it's insane to drive !!!!
I know a dealer that will order one below msrp
@@mattbrew11 Ford or Jeep? What state? I’m in NJ.
@@thomasrossi31 jeep. Dealership is in TN ebe worth the drive
Fantastic video. How ironic that Ford cut you off for a while because you were filming this vehicle while they were testing it. And you do a video that could easily be used by Ford. Tommy you killed it with this video. What an incredible machine. This video alone makes me want one! Well done!
Awesome vid! 😎🕶️😉😸🐶
Great video! That raptor bronco is a thing of beauty! Sounds good too. Curious what toyota will done with the gen 6 4runner. As the get 5 is pretty underpowered in today's day.
When the Raptor Ranger comes along I want to do this with it!
That shot of 134 miles to Empty with a 7/8 full tank at 15:15 mark amazing haha
my Jeep has KO2 and I love them good all around tire !!!
Thought at first Tommy had drafted, TFL goes to war!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
great video Tommi, and Cole, Ford did the Bronco Raptor right, out of the box , there are not many from factory that will do this other than maybe a Jeep 392 and its more $$ and then you would have to upgrade the skid plates from Mopar parts to give the same protection, that rock crawling section , plus the downhill section, well they were both super impressive , $70-80k may not be all that bad and you get a 3 year warranty 👍
Waiting on my cactus grey with carbon fiber and code orange seat belts. Dealer got me with a 25k mark up here in Southern California, 95k plus the tab to Uncle Sam. Most dealers in the area are asking 150k with the highest at 180k lol.
Thanks for the video Tommy!
Awesome video guys! You really want to test the suspension take it over those speed bumps on the speed bump olympics channel 😆
M880 in the Army we had a guy jump one in the desert. The old Dodge was on its way out and went out like a boss.
Would like to see how this bronc raptor compares to the mb 4x4
Look at that fuel range lol love the white one.
That’s because they are off-roading.
Being wide helps with stability !!!
Hope you guys ordered one for Taming Tumbleweed...🤠👍🏻
Sweet air soft helmet
CCCOOOOOLLLLLEEEEEEE!!!!
Are those fender flares as easy to remove as the standard ones? I would just pop those things off if I were negotiating some boulders or narrow passages.
1990 called. They want the Wrangler YJ Renegade body kit back.
Easy to get rid of the gaudy fender flairs. No one I ever knew got pulled over for fender violations. Maybe one in a million. Most cops wouldn’t even know.
Depends where you live. In BC they’ll pull you over for an inch of tire poke. I’m Hawaii 12”, no problem brada!
Biggest thing here is the suspension flex. That looks so much better than the standard bronco
EXACTLY
@@markusnay6255 my big bend is a literal brick. Almost no flex at all. Definitely going to look at suspension upgrades soon.
Right on young man!! I really enjoy you and your dad's reviews. I'm very familiar to where you are testing. I have enjoyed many weekends of motorcycle pleasure and racing out there. Your enthusiasm and spirit of what it's like behind the wheel of a serious capable high speed rig makes your video all that much more enjoyable from beginning to end.
