Well done Jordan. Reminded me of the Bronco off roadeo event we did in Texas last year. That was a great experience and lots of fun. Thanks.
If you’ve never rock crawled and this was your first time, that’s super impressive because that trail looks pretty crazy. My first time off-roading my Bronco Badlands, it was pretty technical too but not as technical as what you did and the only reason why I was able to do it was from watching so much off-roading videos so I wasn’t too surprised 😂
Hahah sorry for the confusion! First time rock-crawling the Bronco Raptor, not first time rock-crawling in general! But yes, still super technical trail and certainly the most intense one I've done!
My Braptor order converted to a 23 model yesterday. I changed my color from black to iconic silver. Started out with Code Orange 😂
black with silver will look fantastic
Jordan, that helmet brought to my mind the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones! 🤣
Hahahah oh my
Great video I have one on order hopefully I will get it soon
Not many comparisons to the Badlands. You compared it to the Base Sasquatch?
Sorry, meant Base as in "normal" Bronco Sasquatch, i.e. Badlands. Not Base as in trim level base.
Thinking of going to a bronco raptor from a 2017 raptor. Bronco has a way shorter wheelbase. Compared to the full size raptor how stable does it feel at highway speed? Does it buck at all? Really appreciate the comfort of the raptor on a long drive trying to get somewhere.
The Defender is a different kind of vehicle. Bc the roof & doors don’t remove, it’s more staid whereas the Bronco is more fun and adventurous
I was pleasantly surprised that Jordan was driving it up that rugged rock crawling course. I'm used to Mitch and Jon doing the heavy off-road Bronco driving for Bronco Nation. I don't think Jordan has near the off-road driving experience of Mitch and Jon so if he can drive over this rugged course without much trouble it really shows off the Bronco Raptor's capability.
Hahah well glad you were pleasantly surprised! I've been off-roading (mostly ATVs and dirt bikes) since I was a kid and then got much more into 4x4 vehicles in the last three years. But I've been all through Moab, Cali, Nevada, and more, so I definitely have more experience than I let on ;) Don't let the appearance fool you! But yes, the Bronco Raptor is insanely capable!!
That helmet, oh my.
-.-
Sick helmet
Blocked.
As expensive as it is would rather buy the v8 Jeep. More options offered as well.
392 is great if you only want more horsepower!
@@TheBroncoNation I agree. It appears the Bronco Raptor beats the 392 Rubicon in pretty much every other category.
Strictly an off road vehicle, especially at that price tag.
Rock crawling and burn-outs to me are in the same category......damn waste of a vehicle for what? They both are like throwing your money down a rathole for a few moments/hours of immature "pleasure". I guess I never had the money to just waste or throw away. Nice RV, for sure, but why abuse a vehicle if there is a way to conserve your vehicle and billfold?
Some men, also women, enjoy using and testing the abilities of their vehicles. Some more than others. And in many cases, have to use these abilities to get to places like Top of the World, or sometimes like to take short cuts. And would forward to it with a big smile.
I have a Jeep 392 and if I drive it hard, I get 13 to 14 MPG. 9 MPG is a joke
It's all a moot point. Maybe his version of driving hard is different than your version.
Besides, if a person can afford either one, they're not worrying about gas mileage anyway.
If you watch later into the video you'll hear me say we averaged 13-14mpg.
@@TheBeatenPaths with a 16 gallon tank, you will care
@@zohawn4398 Bronco Raptor has a 20.8 gallon gas tank and 392 Rubicon has a 21.5 gallon tank.
Ford is building these raptors at the expense of previous order holders being delayed in getting their regular broncos like myself that’s coming up on 1 year in a holding pattern with no production date!!!!👎🏽
This is not accurate.
@@TheBroncoNation explain why it’s not accurate? They’re looking at higher end customers with money as well as promos for Baja events that they can compete in!
@@TheBroncoNation this is a relatively short answer.
Your vehicle is likely already built and has been for some time, but is missing certain components. Some of these components may not even be shared with the Bronco Raptor, so why would you feel it's production is impinging on your vehicle? The reality is right now the parts economy still hasn't totally recovered and Ford was hit hardest of the big 3 in terms of chip allocation.
