I diagnosed with my VIDA first... bypassed the reverse switch and turned the lights on/off from VIDA... once I saw they worked when turning on/off from VIDA but not when going into reverse I figured it was the switch that wasn't working....exactly as shown in the video. swapped it, and tested it today and they work! 7.7MM punch needle made easy work of the punch pin.

Hi, this was a great video, I wonder if this would make my parking sensors work again, I assume those stoped working at the same time as the reverse lights, Can you please tell me which is the software you are using on your computer please, thank you in advance.
Hey I am not sure about the parking sensors I can sure find out though. Check Swedespeed there might be a article. The software I was using is called VIDA.
How does one remove that roll pin from the linkage? Also of course how do you put it back once you get it out?
ditto, it can be punched out but how do you get it back in? Just completely remove it and then re-insert it through the front side of the hole?
