- President Zelensky accused Hungary of acting on behalf of President Putin to block billions of euros of economic aid for Ukraine and the start of talks for his country to join the European Union.
The Ukrainian leader was thought to be in Brussels, ready to attend a tense European Council summit in person, but only if Viktor Orban, the Hungarian prime minister, lifts his veto over “accession” negotiations with Kyiv and a €50 billion economic assistance package.

Why does Orban not simply leave the EU and take his people back to the russian sphere of influence. Hungary adds what 3% to total EU trade? He should just leave the EU and let the EU put Ukraine in its place. Russia does not have a problem with Ukraine in EU, Putin has stated this a number of times. Its nato russia has an issue with.

You do knot know what is behind this. Most of Ukrainian land are now purchased, owned by US interests and to open the EU market for the grains, agricultural goods produced in Ukraine is a strong interest of USA therefore the bought politicians of EU are pushing for Ukraine joining EU and so to access the internal market without limits. Serbia has more advanced conditions yest still not EU member, and Ukraine managed to reach a status in 1 year what Serbia did in 6 years. If Ukraine joins EU, French farmers will be the first to burn down Paris, the Polish then the others.

The whole budget of the 27 countries will go to Ukraine, and after 90 percent of the money will go to US (Blackrock and others).
