The lead guitarist is Joe Perry, probably one of the best Rock 'n' Roll guitarists around. The other guitarist is Brad Whitford. Great reaction as usual guys, love & light from The UK.
Yes! I do love this song. Cool reaction. 😎👍 For all those people out there that think they are above and better than other people. You know those pretty people who think they are so great. Gold diggin' conceited people. My song's from Aerosmith "Milk Cow Blues" "Walk The Dog" and "Lightnin Strikes" I love 70's Aerosmith best
Keep bringin the rock/metal reactions. FYI there are alot of intrumental guitar songs you two have barely heard any of. Artists like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert and Yngwie Malmsteen are great place to start your virtuoso guitarist journey.
One of their last really rocking songs, along with "Love in an Elevator" before they went with all rock ballads all the time. Try "Mama Kin", "Hangman Jury" and "Permanent Vacation".
The music is awesome in this! Also, the lyrics, anyone of any race can feel the lyrics! Who hasn’t had to deal with some rich, snob, or some person that think they’re all that?!
Everyone craps on Aerosmith for their 1993 album Get A Grip, the album is so fire.. the different types of music from blues hard rock, the whole way to funky rock, and than great full rock songs like this. This album is up there with Toys In the Attic and Rocks. Amazing, Cryin’, Eat the Rich, Fever, Gotta Love It, and all the other ones, such a great album.
If I'm correct, I believe, that Joe Perry of Aerosmith, formed a group called The Joe Perry Project that originally coined the song 'Let The Music Do The Talking'
I've had the pleasure of seeing them on 4 different concert tours and at that point in their history(Drugs and Alcohol),the first 2 times I saw them, they were so f-ed up,they didn't even know what planet they were on... The next concert was in 1984,the Back in the Saddle tour.. Rocked.... Also their next tour was kickass!! That made up for the first 2!!Lol..
Haha maaaan. Back when I was little and listening to Hanson and Spice Girls on my Walkman, I remember my dad saying if I wanted to hear real music and it was this album and song. Especially being surprised of the swear words.
Don't know why I just thought of this group but try doing some Y&T, they are a hair band of the mid to late 80's. Asia, the one song I'm thinking you would like is called Lipstick and Leather.
One of my favorite bands from the 80s. But to me, their best albums are Yesterday And Today and Struck Down. From 76 and 78. When they were called Yesterday And Today. They have tons of better songs than the very generic Lipstick and Leather. Especially on their 70s and early 80s albums. Very underrated band.
Steven Tyler - Vocals ....... Joe Perry - Lead and Rhythm Guitars......... Brad Whitford - Guitars........ Tom Hamilton - Bass ..... Joey Kramer - Drums 😉
Sorry gotta get this off my chest as the song goes Joe has that ability to bring out sounds out of his guitar amazing but as Joe that's what David Gilmore from Pink Floyd two different styles they know how to use a whammy bar David has a sound broad he plays though
The song isnt a cheap shot at all rich people but the ones that all of a sudden get rich by winning the lottery or getting an inheritance. They then forget from where they came from and snub all their old friends and family because they think they are better than them now.
By the time they wrote the song, Aerosmith was successful for a while, so they were rich. But they didn't start that way and along the way they heard a lot of stuff rich people said about others. It's an FU to those people,/
Aerosmith Singing A Song Titled ‘Eat The Rich’ Makes Me Laugh…B/c When Their Career Was Stalling Just When MTV Was Taking Off…Steven Tyler & Aerosmith Literally Took In A Garbage Bag Full Of Cash W/A Red Bow On Top Inside The MTV’s Executive Office 2 Bribe Them 2 Play Their Collaboration Video W/Run DMC ‘Walk This Way’ On The Air!!😮 It Worked!! MTV Played The Video…& It Relaunched Their Career 2A Whole New Level!!😂
This is one of those rare long songs like a Queen song or the Beatles ☯️ Definitely underrated not one of the more well-known Aerosmith songs 💯 this song is probably more popular from the Aerosmith arcade game called Revolution X
If u read the Aerosmith autobiography book 'Walk this way'... the reality of the music business and the illusion that rock bands are super-rich rock stars back in the 70's and 80's gets thrown away. Aerosmith first got together in 1970 and shared a loft in Boston and were always broke... playing gigs in area clubs and bars... working day jobs... When they got signed in 1972, they were treated terribly by the press who called them "poor man's Rolling Stones". They would open for anyone who took them on tour and started the cycle of abusing drugs and alcohol. When they broke big in 1975 w/ their 3rd album 'Toys in the attic', they were suddenly headlining arenas and festivals. But the way their managers set them up was on credit - whatever the band spent, their income was used to cover it. And if they spent over on cars, houses, and other expenses (drugs), they would owe more. To make matters worse, they signed over half their publishing to their managers to work on their behalf... so 50 cents of every $1 in record sales royalties were given to the managers. Guitarist Joe Perry of Aerosmith said he was told in 1978 that he OWED more money than he had... They suggested the advance for a solo album would cover it. So, when he ended up exiting Aerosmith in 1979, he went for a solo album and career. Perry was shocked that Aerosmith was selling out arenas and stadiums, millions of records, and were not making a surplus income because of their contracts. Without Joe Perry, Aerosmith carried on w/ guitarist Jimmy Crespo... Aerosmith fans hated the change and Aerosmith's record sales and concert attendance crashed as guitarist Brad Whitford left Aerosmith as well in 1981... By 1983, the members of Aerosmith had lost their fortunes, properties and found themselves destitute... Both Perry and Whitford got divorced and that added to their money problems (Whitford claimed he had to borrow money from his parents to buy a crib for his newborn baby!) Joe Perry's solo career flopped and by 1983, his future wife Billie was housing and supporting him cos he was drowning in debt that he could not pay. Steven Tyler got divorced and his drug problem was so bad that his then-gf (later, 2nd wife) was caring for him. Aerosmith reunited w/ Perry & Whitford for a reunion tour in 1984... They needed money to pay off debts and lawyers to break contracts w/ their previous managers. Aerosmith's then-manger said that the tour did very well - $5 million in ticket sales... saved the band from financial ruin. But the business side was that he had to pay the promoters, lawyers, agents, road crew, taxes and touring expenses... after his commission, there was $1 million left, so each of 5 members of Aerosmith got $20K. Later, they saw an article that the tour made 5 million dollar$ and demanded 1 million each... that was how little Aerosmith knew about the business. It wasn't until 1987/ '88 when Aerosmith's album 'Permanent vacation' became a hit that they started to see the money coming in... nearly 20 years after they had formed.
One of my favorites from this album. Great reaction. I ♥️ my rock n roll music
This is more like the 70s and Heavy Aerosmith. It woudn,t be out of place on their 76 Rocks album.
The lead guitarist is Joe Perry, probably one of the best Rock 'n' Roll guitarists around. The other guitarist is Brad Whitford. Great reaction as usual guys, love & light from The UK.
lol burp at the end 😄. My friend bought me this cd when I was needing to "Get A Grip". I like energetic music when I'm feeling frustrated.
Yes! I do love this song. Cool reaction. 😎👍 For all those people out there that think they are above and better than other people. You know those pretty people who think they are so great. Don't forget Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Joe Perry is a beast 🎸
this is such a banger..love this song and this reaction...i know it's already been said...but they have 2 guitarists, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford. ❤
One of their last really rocking songs, along with "Love in an Elevator" before they went with all rock ballads all the time.
Try "Mama Kin", "Hangman Jury" and "Permanent Vacation".

Everyone craps on Aerosmith for their 1993 album Get A Grip, the album is so fire.. the different types of music from blues hard rock, the whole way to funky rock, and than great full rock songs like this. The album "BIG ONES" are some of Aerosmith's biggest hits and you will really enjoy it because I know that I have .
You guys should go as many concerts as you can...with the old ones that are still playing!
Brings back memories of playing their arcade game
Oh man, the way I would belt out that Grey Poupon line when I was a kid 😂

Aerosmith is & always be my favorite band. So the song “FEVER” In my opinion would be a great song for you 2 to react to.
This was all the original guys in this song
Haha maaaan. Back when I was little and listening to Hanson and Spice Girls on my Walkman, I remember my dad saying if I wanted to hear real music and it was this album and song. Especially being surprised of the swear words.
Very fun riff
Early Aerosmith is miles above the later Aerosmith material, but this song and Living On The Edge are two of their best.
miles above? dont really...
Would love to watch you guys dance to this!
