FYI, if you're creating the linetype and the "X" is not showing up, you may be using Multi Line text which doesn't work in the example shown, make the "X" using Single Line text and that should solve your issues.
Took some attempts but I got it down, thanks for the video. Is there any way to make the X's a different color? For example I need them to be white (black on paper) and the lines themselves need to be able to change color per the layer. Thanks
