Glad SAS was fair here, some flack Angel Reese received is warranted. She does brag and taunt ON THE COURT, which is fair. But the death threats, the AI porn, and racial slurs is not something she deserves. Her tears were in response to a question about what she’s been experiencing, it’s ok to show emotion there. Not like she made excuses for her play on the court.
Still doesn't make it right to taunt and bully players on the court. If you're okay with bullying people then you're part of the problem too.

Charles was a bad man when he was playing. He never cheated the game he came to play every night in his prime. He just played in the era of MJ. He’s in my top ten. Still is one of my favorite people today That’s a man of values.

Barkley used to annoy me, but I decided he was good for the game. Opponents played better, to shut him up, and he played better, to back up his words.
The irony was that growing up, one of my favorite video games was Barkley, Shut Up And Jam. Now that I'm older, I'm glad he never shut up. He may not have won a championship, but he is one of the most important persons to play the game and talk to the game.

They're saying it's great for the game, but the level of scrutiny that they are giving these college players doesn't belong on the the college level. There's hella ppl that think, hope, and wish Angel doesn't make it to the WNBA and think that she's going to struggle and not make the team. I get it... she's not Aja Wilson. omg just let them be players and not pawns in the narratives. I've never seen college athletes as hated by college viewers (AR) and hated by proathletes (CC). Angel (and CC) worked hard to make a good name for herself (Bayou Barbie) just for these clowns to come in and try to make her a villain.
Real talk though, regardless of what you think about Reese. She's the main reason why many of us even care about Women's college ball in the past few months. She created this rivalry and it's exciting. Her personality sells the sport, and it brought extra attention to Caitlin. That's why that game between them broke viewership records. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets more views than the finals.

@phillipperkins5476 The Athletic and ESPN ranks him number 22 of all time. However, he's in my top 15. I'm actually not that far off. So, to say that I don't know basketball would actually be devoid of fact. I don't believe KG, Dirk, and Gannis are better than Barkley.
People have to do better when you make comments. He's in my personal top 15. However, some sites have him rated between 18 and 22. So, when I said, it's not 24 better than him. Technically, I'm on par with some sports writers and former athletes.

She consistently does this in every interview, which is why I hesitantly tune into on this show. And it always seems to happen just when someone is about to make a crucial point. That's why I tend to steer clear of this show about 90% of the time. I can tolerate Charles occasionally cutting off because he tends to ramble, but SA is adept at succinctly getting his point across, while GK always seems to interrupt guests at the most inconvenient moments!
If something is not broken, don't try to fix it, but do try to make it better.

I think people forget that sports in general is competitive……the point of these games is to win, and most athletes are gonna do whatever it takes to win. Now….does Angel do her taunting and trash talk a bit extra? Yes, but that’s just her however…..it is never anything personal, and she’s had to make that clear on several occasions that it’s never anything personal. We have to remember that the sports industry is all about gaining more views to make more money, if trash talk and taunting were truly this bad thing, don’t you think ESPN would’ve put a statement out a long time ago asking for it to stop? Well they haven’t, and they clew.ry don’t want it to stop because it makes these games more fun and entertaining and it brings in more views….I mean I know I’m right because that Iowa vs LSU game garnered the most views probably in sports history especially for the women. well said..the thing that ticks me off is that ESPN and SAS have a long history of covertly blacklisting certain players that don't fit the narrative that they are going for while propping up players who they feel are "better for the game" or "more marketable". The idea of princesses and evil stepmother villains is such a Disney ideology (ESPN's parent company). Throwing this into college women's sports helps the sport but hurts the players. CC is a very good player. AR is a very good competitor. The idea of marketing one as a Cinderella and the other as an evil step sister sells the game, but that's not who they are. AR has changed a lot this year compared to last year. I think that she matured as a person, and Kim Mulkey had a lot to do with it. ESPN tried to destroy Kim for not airing out the team's dirty laundry (notice how when Charles complimented Kim on being a good coach, SAS deflected the conversation). ESPN doesn't like her, so she's an Evil Stepmother, and her players are the evil step sisters.

If they are going to act like children they should be treated like children. People keep saying this is how the game is played and that's actually not true. Most high schools have a good sportsmanship conduct and that should be displayed on the court by professionals as well. People making excuses for this behavior are just trying to excuse the behavior. In all honesty the athletes that actually conduct themselves in a professional manner should be paid more. They clearly do more work by having more tact. Lack of tact isn't an excuse. Grown adults need to act like it. The people sending her threats are morons and stupid. She claims to be the villain and then cries because she is seen in a negative light. These athletes need to act with more respect than the way they act on the court. I have seen elementary kids play the game with more respect.
