That’s wildly inaccurate. It takes a lot to be a business owner and to do your own thing. Most people aren’t able to cut it or willing to take on that amount of risk. IF you can hack it and IF you’re willing to take on the risk, yes, it has higher ceiling potential. But that isn’t for everyone, and if it was, what would business be if everyone was their own business owner, there would be no employees to run businesses so the world would just be 7 billion self employed people, makes literally zero sense

He probably had to do it more than a typical sports journalist because people's expectation is that he's a former football player, what could he possibly know about other sports? That's the thing I love about Shannon, you can tell that he not just reading stats, but that he studies so that he actually knows what he is talking about.

Still away from first take but they kept getting closer and closer every year. Go check the views undisputed gets now, they aren’t even among the top3 on fox. I recently got furloughed from a really good job, and the disappointment shook me to my core but this video has given me so much hope for the future. I didn’t come this far in life just for it to end here.
Keep your head up, man. I got laid off in 2021 because of covid, but with help I'm back on my feet and providing for my family. There's always a way, but it may take some time to find it. And sometimes things have to wait until the right time to happen, even if we can't see why.

The crazy part about that at the same time u was going thru it I was at my job as a Chef for 18 years and to get terminated from my job a worked so hard for defending myself against a work bully. Watching your struggle helped me have the strength to make it thru a similar situation. When it hit I didn't know where to go and what to do but I put my trust in God and he for me a Security job working at the same place that let me go but now I had more power and got paid $2 dollars more and hour doing less work. Your story and struggle help me realize that God put his strongest soldiers in the hardest of battles. I no longer watch undisputed since you're not on there but I'm always tuned into Club Shay Shay and First Take. Keep up the good work OG and Keep the faith. Although the "Headline" in this interview had us thinking that they would go into detail about what happened and why he left "Undisputed" with Skip Bayless. I didn't hear or see much of anything on the subject that brought me here.
I knew unc would be successful just from seeing his personality as a player. A really funny, charismatic, and HARD WORKING man. I am not at all surprised where he is. I saw this coming as soon as he said "we are killing the new england patriots" :D :D :D I remember feeling like he wasn't allowed to be himself at all on CBS and was supposed to just be a boring analyst, and I thought this man is too great of an entertainer for this and they are not on his level, they are just analysts. Shannon brought up a great point - Skip is like 75 with a good marriage, sober, not much of a social life, early riser. Skip just sits at home with his wife and dogs and watches sports all day long. Shannon is 20 years younger, single, and therefore NEEDS to have time for his personal relationships, to keep his friends close and maybe one day find a wifey. It was for the best that Shannon make his own company and set his own schedule.
I don't see how this schedule isn't more difficult. What did he have to watch? The NBA playoffs and the NFL playoffs. The rest of the segments for the rest of the year were just meaningless Cowboys talk, Brady, or is LeBron better than MJ? What else did they talk about on that show?

Skip made Shannon. 90 percent of people who know Shannon today is from the guy on undisputed not from the football field. The facts are if you are under 30 you know Shannon from undisputed. Certain kinds of people are ungrateful when you help them. Skip will always be successful and that has many of them upset
Uncle Shay Shay we all are hurt with you OG. But to see you shynee even though the world was on your back is nothing but amazing. The crazy part about that at the same time u was going thru it I was at my job as a Chef for 18 years and to get terminated from my job a worked so hard for defending myself against a work bully. Watching your struggle helped me have the strength to make it thru a similar situation. When it hit I didn't know where to go and what to do but I put my trust in God and he for me a Security job working at the same place that let me go but now I had more power and got paid $2 dollars more and hour doing less work. Your story and struggle help me realize that God put his strongest soldiers in the hardest of battles. I no longer watch undisputed since you're not on there but I'm always tuned into Club Shay Shay and First Take. Keep up the good work OG and Keep the faith. We never know what God has planned for us but watching you I know if I approach everyday right foot over left foot nothing is impossible for God. Love OG Triple OG Uncle Shay Shay. 💯

As much as i hated them letting him go , this was the best thing happened to him (i would say as successful in his nfl career) but wherever Shannon goes i feel he would be successful anyways, cause he has the personality and energy wherever he goes.

Shannon Sharpe was a great, HOFER and literally upgraded the TE position. Since he's been in the media, I respect and admire him even more because it seems like he was born to do this work. I subscribed to "Club Shay Shay as soon as I heard that he had a Podcast. Although the "Headline" in this interview had us thinking that they would go into detail about what happened and why he left "Undisputed" with Skip Bayless. I didn't hear or see much of anything on the subject that brought me here.

I knew unc would be successful just from seeing his personality as a player. A really funny, charismatic, and HARD WORKING man. I am not at all surprised where he is. I saw this coming as soon as he said "we are killing the new england patriots" :D :D :D I remember feeling like he wasn't allowed to be himself at all on CBS and was supposed to just be a boring analyst, and I thought this man is too great of an entertainer for this and they are not on his level, they are just analysts. I just wish I was older and could have scooped him up as my client, LOL!

Shannon brought up a great point - Skip is like 75 with a good marriage, sober, not much of a social life, early riser. Skip just sits at home with his wife and dogs and watches sports all day long. Shannon is 20 years younger, single, and therefore NEEDS to have time for his personal relationships, to keep his friends close and maybe one day find a wifey. It was for the best that Shannon make his own company and set his own schedule.
I don't see how this schedule isn't more difficult. What did he have to watch? The NBA playoffs and the NFL playoffs. The rest of the segments for the rest of the year were just meaningless Cowboys talk, Brady, or is LeBron better than MJ? What else did they talk about on that show?
