Well yeah. The issue was that it wasn’t in the flow of the game. If you’re going up for a layup you’re expecting contact and your body at least has time to react. When you get hit from behind or sucker punched it can lead to some pretty bad injuries if you don’t see it coming
Its actually the other way around. You pale people just love trying to shove Caitlin down peoples throat when literally no one is even thinking about her LMAO.
These women on this show, including Molly, are doing everything they can to not understand what SAS and Shannon are saying because they don't wanna admit Clark is the "golden goose" as Stephen A says. The jealousy is crazy and women do this to each other all the time

I was thinking the very same thing, the very fact that these professional women sitting up here on national TV and can't see that it is really bad for their game if they do this girl this way is really amazing, and they wonder why their league suffers all the time smh... Women are really delusional when it comes to accountability no matter their education, their physical looks or if they're financially stable, they will not ever take accountability for anything imo
Stevie Wonder can see them other players are hating on Caitlin Clark. They better hope Caitlin doesn’t get seriously injured or decides to leave. Viewership will go down again.
The refs set a standard here, and the punishment for trying to cause injury to the opposing star is one free throw. That means, from now on if there's a player not trying to cause injury to the opposing star player, should be benched immediately.
All Stephen a is saying is for the wnba to take advantage of the hype caitlyn Clark is bringing to the wnba rather than turn on her or put her in bad situations. If caitlyn eats they all eat
And all others are saying is that there still has to be competition while this is happening! Too many people are coddling her. It isn't productive. Give her grace to acclimate to the W; allow her to be a rookie and get welcomed with physical play; and everyone can still eat. There are two important issues that need more attention in discussions about recent events. Firstly, Angel Reese's actions on the court, particularly her celebration of the hip check, are deplorable and set a negative example for sportsmanship. My honest opinion? It wasn’t the play that garnered all this attention- it was the theatrics during AND after the game that gave this “story” the traction it did. Between Carter’s comments on social media and Reese’s comments on yesterday, as well as Reese’s tweets a little while ago, it’s clear the “ladies hating on Caitlin Clark” narrative is legit and applies to SOME. Chiney, McNutt, and others like them need to stop acting like that’s not happening. Besides, if people are looking for folks to blame for this constant media attention… blame Chennedy Carter. Blame Angel Reese. They’re ironically helping the unnecessary attention stay on this narrative rather than focusing on Clark, and the entire WNBA’s players, do what they’re paid to do -play basketball.
You are absolutely correct, the Carter-Reece tag team just handed the anti BLM conservatives a huge club, and for what. I like the fact that everyone says "Clark ain't all that, she's being hyped up," then players on the opposite team hip check her and foul Clark on the regular. If she "ain't all that" why you gotta foul her every possession?
Y'all are overlooking several points. I mean it was a cheap shot and it happened all the time and depending on who it is it is a big story. And honestly we do talk about that in the NBA if someone just blatantly runs up on someone and hits them for no apparent reason because that's what happened. Now if it's Derek Lively who participates in doing that cheap shot against Jalen green, we look right past it. But if it's Draymond Green doing it to anybody then it is a topic of discussion, an above and beyond all that, the biggest point is that that was not called a flagrant foul when it was indeed the most flagrant of all fouls. That should be the story. The officiating in the WNBA did not get that right off the muscle and we should be asking why . That ladies and gentlemen is the story
Yep. Remember when Morris cheapshot Joker? That was talked about for days. Poor Morris was the dog that caught the car though, Joker obliterated him back. Unfortunately for CC she's not big enough to do that, and her team has about zero fight in them so if a bench clearing brawl ensued it would be her versus the entire Chicago team :p

Well yeah. The issue was that it wasn’t in the flow of the game. If you’re going up for a layup you’re expecting contact and your body at least has time to react. When you get hit from behind or sucker punched it can lead to some pretty bad injuries if you don’t see it coming

My thoughts exactly
All Stephen a is saying is for the wnba to take advantage of the hype caitlyn Clark is bringing to the wnba rather than turn on her or put her in bad situations. If caitlyn eats they all eat
wnba is not turning on her-AGAIN-This is an isolated incident and it much ado about NOTHING
It better women then her in the wnba she hasn't show anything yet
And all others are saying is that there still has to be competition while this is happening! Too many people are coddling her. It isn't productive. Give her grace to acclimate to the W; allow her to be a rookie and get welcomed with physical play; and everyone can still eat. The narratives are terrible and it makes it unwatchable because of what everyone else is talking about.
So we don’t want women to play hard like men or not hard with Caitlin .. either way the chick from the Sky did nothing wrong

The point Stephen A needs to make is Caitlin Clark could have been injured. That's the risk Carter put the WNBA in, and what needs to be said explicitly.

The foul on Clark was pure hate and had nothing to do with basketball. So I have no idea where you’re going with that.
Facts
Yes it’s a good point. Whether good or bad things happen to CC, the media will capitalize on it and ride the wave.
