After watching ,listening, correcting my mistakes. And buying some j Nats from you off etsy , i have finally learned to get an edge that don't pull none! Cuts wiskers like they are not there. And I have been straight shaving with a straight razor for 37 years. I always honed my razors. But now I know how..
I appreciate your kind words, thank you for watching and commenting!

you commented back told me to set the bevel. i now can shave off a 1k and stropping, it really is that important. i didnt understand and i also assumed i needed a finishing stone, great stuff bro as always.
I got kinda lazy the past few years, and I only really use one or some or all of tsushima, koma, tomo after, say, the 4k Hayabusa and 8k Fuji. I'm having my central heating gutted and replaced this weekend, which will require moving a helluva lot of stuff. So, it'll give me an excuse to dig out the Botan, maybe even Kaisei and some other neglected rocks I forgot existed. Thanks for the reminder Keith.

Yup……if the bevel isn’t there you’re just polishing a turd.
Absolutely!
