    Honestly i cant thank you enough for this video. Ive just bought Trivium Drums and fucked if i could get it to route multi track. All i hard was the master channel or stereo one. I was literally just about to go out and put a pickaxe through the windscreen of my car in frustration! I now have it working perfectky. What a stupid shitty set up though, definitely not easy out the box! Thanks again!!

    Is it possible just to route out snare and kick for example and the rest stays routed do master direct in krimh drums?

    • @Bogren.Digital
      @Bogren.Digital  Рік тому +1

      Yes, you need to keep the stereo st channel, add only 2 tracks, and route the kick and snare 🥁

    You mentioned when routing the individual tracks to DAW that it bypasses the Master Channel. Do the individual channels still go through the mixing stages in the plugin i.e. the EQ, Transient Designer, Saturation, etc.?

    • @Bogren.Digital
      @Bogren.Digital  Рік тому

      Thanks for your question. Yes, if you apply this to the individual track, this will be processed and sent to the track in your DAW.

    Hello Jeremy/Bogren, I work in Logic Pro X and I am curious to know that once I set up this routing, is it possible for me to bounce out each individual track as audio files? I think so, but am curious how to do this with my particular DAW. My computer doesn't have the best CPU power/performance, so anytime I can bounce things out to stop using plugins such as Krimh Drums (or amp sims, etc.), it helps my computer not slow down during mixing.

    • @Bogren.Digital
      @Bogren.Digital  Рік тому +1

      Hi @npckle thanks for your question. Yes, it's possible. Once you've routed the tracks, you can set them up for recording to have the audio file in real-time, like a real drummer recording a take.
      After you record the entire song, just turn off Kontakt and work with your separate audio tracks 🥁 Happy mixing!

    Okay, so you said the channels are no longer being ran through the master channel and then just end the video without telling us how to remedy that if desired. How do you do that?

    • @vinne.wav88
      @vinne.wav88 Рік тому +2

      In the master channel, you have
      Reverbs, Parallel compression, Master EQ, and Master tape. It would be cool to reproduce this with the plugins you have in your DAW to achieve a similar result.

    So can you use Krimh drums as a standalone or do you need Kontact?
    cheers!

    • @Bogren.Digital
      @Bogren.Digital  3 місяці тому

      Hi, Steve. Krimh Drums needs Kontakt to work. Luckily, Kontakt comes with a standalone version, so you don't need to start a DAW to use it.

    I really wish there was a template to route this for pro tools. I honestly cannot figure out how to properly route it without something getting screwed up. :( Regretting the purchase unfortunately.

    But recording (edrums) with this routing is not good because it causes more latency (the whole routing..), correct ?
    But afterwards, best method to mix it, correct ?

    • @eDrumsandVSTs
      @eDrumsandVSTs Рік тому +1

      I don't notice that much latency at all when using multi-out vs stereo out. Maybe there is but I don't notice it. But yes you can always record your MIDI using stereo out, then setup your Krimh and project to multi-out and you're good to go!

    Bro, the routing is broken. When following the steps it doubles up channels, throws the drum room in kt.1, and the routing doesn't translate to the corresponding channels when routing.

    • @frank75454

      @@kokkkztse I ended up setting up all the routing manually. I think it's screwed up because Kontact routes 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and then Reaper routes 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, etc so there's an odd discrepancy.

    Uhm... when I follow that tutorial it creates two tracks per kit-part. both being mono as fuck. It completely overrides the panning settings in the kit. Why is it doubling the channels? It does it in your video, too. Is there a way where i could for example route all toms to one output without the panning being srewed up?

    • @DissonanceApproved
      @DissonanceApproved Рік тому

      Also the track names do not at all match the output names in kontakt - with the room channel ending somewhere at an output called st.18 aux... why does it put it on an aux channel?

    This might seem like a dumb question, but how the HELL do you save your own preset in Krimh?!?

    • @Bogren.Digital
      @Bogren.Digital  3 місяці тому

      On top of the Kontakt Window, there are two icons: a camera, and "i" in the circle. Make sure you are in "camera" mode (snapshot). Then, press the floppy disk icon, clicking on it will allow you to name your snapshot. After saving it you can access the saved preset by clicking on the 'user' dropdown.
