I trusted Yoonchul, I literally was rooting for him finally being a good husband and a good father (to Rona). But he let me down sooo bad.

Yeah and not only Ro Na but also Eun Byeol because it was his and Seo Jin's responsibility to raise their kid well and that also counts raising them to be courageous enough to take accountability of their actions, to be stable and not attack someone like that at the very minimum and if they knew she did something like that, to actually protect her, from her own self at that, the responsible thing would have been to encourage her to admit her faults and take responsibility. But since Seo Jin wasnt really up there morally, and Yun Cheol was not courageous enough and was too misguided and they both ended up hurting Eun Byeol. Had she not been separated from them, mostly Seo Jin tho, she would have turned out pretty messed up in the head.
And this is what i felt was the most sad thing. In his paternal love for Eun Byeol and misguided sense of protection he wanted to give her, he ended up doing wrong to not only his daughter Ro Na but also Eun Byeol and thus wasnt that good of a father in that sense.
I kept expecting that the creators would conclude his story well in the end but its quite commendable and surprising how well they wrote a morally grey character and gave him an end that just remains there like an itch that you cant quite reach. Like morally grey characters are supposed to be.

@@whimsyeyes7032 I feel like EVERY ADULT except Logan and Shim su ryeon were SELFISH TO THE POINT THEY FORGOT AND NEGLECTED their responsibility as a parent, husband,wife . They were so greedy for power and money.I think it's a masterpiece!
