Dragon Ball GT Soundtrack - SSJ4 Theme - (Clean Rip) - (No Sound Effects)

- Fan made attempt at creating a clean version of the track that plays during Goku's Super Saiyan 4 transformation in episode 35 of Dragon Ball GT. This one in particular is from the Tokunaga (Japanese) score. All previous attempts have failed at removing all of the sound effects, which was the goal of this project.
Background:
This is a much better attempt at ripping this track than in my 'best quality version' video from a few months ago, as instead of using recreations, I ripped the original audio directly. I said that my last rip was difficult, but this one blows that out of the water, so much so that I would need far more than just one UA-cam description to describe exactly how I did this. To put it in simple terms, this was made through a combination of experimenting with Spleeter and ISSE to try and remove as much of the sound effects and voices as possible. For the 'teardrop' part, Spleeter was able to separate most of it away because it thought it was a drum or part of the vocals. It was then a matter of retaining as much of the music as possible in ISSE, which was also necessary in some areas to remove the sound effects directly. This in itself was no easy task. I can safely say that I retained all of the music though. The Oozaru scream at the start as well as the 'wind' sound effect at the end were removed using ISSE, with it's intelligent AI being able to differentiate between the music and the sfx after my input. Everything other than the wind part was made using the '4' and '5' of the Green Bricks 5.1 audio, as they had most of the sound effects already removed, while the wind part was made using the '1' and '2' (the 1st stereo channel). It was then only a matter of combining the two. To be honest this is about as short of a summary I could make as this whole process was way harder than it sounds believe it or not. I think that the end result is as good as it can possibly be. I've been meaning to do this for a long time, as it's my favorite Dragon Ball BGM across the whole series. I'd say that it's probably the best version out there right now, so I hope you enjoy it.

ssj4 was never the best fit for goku’s character. It just told us everything we already knew from the moment he first went ssj: embracing being a saiyan. It’s nothing new.
ultra instinct actually tied into his martial arts roots that started everything. that’s the real final evolution for his character.

I love SSJ4 theme the most it's not aggressive or chaotic and intense, it's calm and heart breaking.
I agree but tbh I don't view it as heartbreaking, I view it as goku finally being at peace with the power that killed his grandpa and fully appreciating both his nature and nurture :)

I have noticed one thing after watching Regular Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 4 Transformation.
Goku achieved super saiyan 4 through love of his granddaughter and controlling his anger as a great ape.
And achieved super saiyan through anger when seeing his best friend died in front of him.
Yes , this time he didn't only need to use rage but also conquer it so that he could save everyone , there was a cool little thing while he was transforming into it the first time , there was chain like electricity as he was screaming signifying control over his inner beast .
Not ONLY love for his grand Daughter but love for the Earth to. He transformed Super Sayan 4 cause he Gave all his heart and soul to save the Earth. I think his "human side" was very important.

I always thought the base idea of the Super Saiyan was flawed
that givin in to fury, rage and frustration would make you stronger, was an idea that I considered wrong.
the Super Saiyan 4 on the other side, its the perfect transformation for me, it does not born out of the user letting his anger and frustration take over, but out of listening to something stronger than negative feelings in dire situations, love and hope, kindness is the greatest source of strenght.

Super Saiyan is the personification of the adage about the anger of a gentle man. It is, in essence, a demonstration of not the strength of anger, but the risk to someone trying to perpetually lord over someone else, to piss the other guy off, because one day, the other guy might snap and punch back, and then you'll be flat on your ass. Super Saiyan 4, arguably, is about truly focusing all the most adrenal instincts a person can have into a singular purpose, and gaining self control in so doing. One is a warning, a consequence, while the other is control of what that consequence represents.

Thank you Akira Toriyama, I watched Dragon Ball for the 1st time a year and a half ago and 6 months after that I finished Dragon Ball Super and after that watched all of the movie and started to read the mangas, it has recent special in my heart and I’m thankful for this franchise
