Lmao right, I have some different favorites since I lean towards different brands, but it's good to know what makes the best product, led alone a product you could order without knowing any different, and know you won't be disappointed
@@truereality5873 he's literally the most clear and comprehensive detailing "guru". All the other detailing channel's purposes kind of fall under what pan does in my view. Pan shows how EVERYTHING is done safe and effectively, while the other UA-camrs go towards niches. Pan is an extreme value, imagine if he used the same method on mechanics tools, woodworking, or just about anything. He lays stuff out to where it's easy to learn online, teaching effectively without hands on training. And everytime I've put pans teachings in practice, it's been soldered into my brain wiring. The perfect example being a pass from a polisher, 4 dime size dots, 2 cross hatch passes per pass, rinse pad, then panel prep. Simple steps that make the process simple as possible, the only "expertise" I need for paint correction is finding a good pad and polish combo, which Pan also makes easy. From him I know I'll be perfectly alright by buying rupez pads for everything, then just get whatever Polishes you want, for example I like sonax Perfect Finish, and that jescar compound for one steps, then Koch chemie heavy cut, polish, and micro cut as the tools for a full pant correction. The 5th polish I might add is rupez heavy compound asthe deepest possible cut. With pans help, that relatively simple Polishing system should be all I need for proper and perfect paint correction
Dear Pan, We are completely humbled and honored that our product Extra Tough Multipurpose Cleaner Degreaser took first place in your 2023 car detailing products awards for the best APC. This is truly an honor to receive this award. We work hard to deliver and offer outstanding customer service as well as products. Merci! The Extra Tough Team
Someone needs to make a yearly Detailing Content Creator Awards Ceremony so we can always vote Pan to take the gold. Thanks for all your hard work Pan. Your commitment to this channel doesn't go unnoticed 🙏🏽🙏🏽
@Pan the Organizer Greetings, this video is interesting. I ask you, could you make a video like this with products that can be bought OTC at Advance auto, Autozone, Pepboys, etz..., and I think you missed the award for detergents to wash towels and pads ..., but thanks...
Not a dime. They have never sponsored a single video on my channel. If they did, I would disclose it as per UA-cam rules and regulations. What a stupid comment.
I haven’t had a brand new car since I was a kid until last month. In my youth, my dad taught me how to take care of a car: wash/wax, maintenance: brake jobs, tune-ups, all sorts of repairs impossible (mostly) to do it yourself with today’s cars. I’m now retired and with my new bucket list forever favorite car (S580) searched for some useful DIY car care …. Then I found your channel! WOW! The enthusiasm and knowledge you share with us is so powerful - I took my car back to the dealership and had them recommend a PPF & Ceramic Coating … now it’s my turn to learn more from you and have fun taking care of my car inside and out (DIY, of course). When I listen to your videos, they just make sense: you are articulate, engaging and I’m learning so much from you. THANK YOU! - a new fan!
@@PanTheOrganizer I take a snapshot of the list of products and then I buy them according to my needs. Again thank you so much for your quality informative videos they really mean the world to a lot of us out there
@@strangelyorganic Hey, unfortunately we do not have sample packs as fragrance is very personal (what one person likes, the next person may not like it).
The most anticipated video of the year! I love this video becauseeeeeeee... essentially it's a cheat sheet with what product to go for! We can definitely rely on Pan and his videos!
Wow, such a large spectrum of products and categories! You put a lot of time and effort into breaking these down for us Pan, so thank you. ❤ The usual players I was not surprised to see make the cut, yet some product lines this year, I've never heard of? Again, thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge of cars and detailing with all of us, truly a pleasure 🙂
Bang for your buck, I don’t think you can beat the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions line. The Graphine Flex Wax is the best product in the line, but the Misting Quick Detailer is really excellent too, especially as static reduction the day of and day after application. I have a show car and use that detailer the day before and can leave the car outside overnight and it will be spotless in the morning.
PAN, you always hav e great videos. That said the tops for year show is AWESOME! You have helped me find and try new products. Thank you for doing these videos. Big help to the DIYer like myself.
I know most people over look Griots Garage products due to being available at auto parts stores. But a lot of their products are top tier. Very impressed with their BOSS polishing system and ceramic spray wax. Wish they got more love on these lists.
@@PanTheOrganizerthe BOSS correcting and perfecting creams, ceramic spray wax and ceramic speed shine. I have been beyond impressed with everything I’ve tried from them. Give them a shot and make a brand review!
I second this... I've been looking into Griot's Ceramic 3-in-1 Spray Wax. Haven't yet tried it but bought it already and just waiting for a not so busy wknd to prep and apply.
@@PanTheOrganizer I would like to see you test their Boss Correcting cream, Fast Correcting cream, and their Perfecting cream finish polish buffing compounds. They are specifically made for DA polishers.
I'll keep it short : Hands down - My whole year guide!!! THANK YOU PAN for taking the time to do this for us!! ! btw, what a compliment when brands write you a comment of gratitude on this video 👏👏👏
Pan thanks for putting this massive video together! As a weekend warrior I was happy to see that most of the products I have purchased are in your top 3. I jumped onto the DIY line and love it. Across the board it seems they put out a great product no matter the category.
Always a great reference throughout the year, Pan! So cool seeing @diydetailofficial popping up in so many categories! Have you tried their Gold Standard polishing system? I picked it up for my 1yo Chevy before a ceramic coating, really appreciate their attention to ease of use.
Wow Pan you dropped the big video this Saturday and thank you for all of your hard work! All of the products selected are great products and easy to use. I definitely need to try the Fusso glass sealant and Gummy for floor mats. One product I would suggest is DIY Gold Standard Polish because to me this may be the most revolutionary product of the year. I no longer use my compounds and polishes because Gold Standard cuts as well as 3D and finishes beautifully! Thank you for your hard work because you worked overtime on this video!
Thanks I appreciate the kind words, as these are super hard and complex to film. I recently started testing the Gold Standard polish (hence why it's not in the awards) and so far so good. We'll see if it makes the cut next year. DIY Detail has really come up with an awesome line of products.
I really enjoy watching your videos. I've been detailing cars since 1965, it was just called washing and waxing back then. I've used every product and have no complaints for any of them. It's not what you use, it's how well you use them! Thank you,
Thanks for the video Pan. For the DIY ceramic detail spray. Per panel, how many sprays do you think I should use (if using for a drying aid mostly). My Truck is ceramic coated, so looking to have a little gloss boost/drying aid.
One or two sprays per panel should be enough. Here’s my ceramic coating maintenance tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/IqIW78FmRYU/v-deo.htmlsi=p3xPVp9t7GBzb0Hw Welcome to my channel. The 1 day of the year to look forward to. Ever since i had my car coated in 2021 i have 99% of the time used Reset for the bucket wash. P&S Absolute I was using this winter and actually love it. Always great to see what products you show, thank you Pan
I picked up DIY Rinseless to try since everyone seems to like it due to it being surfactant and polymer. I was using P&S Absolute before and found that DIY is def not as slick when cleaning. DIY doesn't give you that extra gloss that P&S somehow does.
@@diydetailofficial It just doesn't feel as slick as DIY but it def cleans well. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. TRC Black sponge seems to know feel as slick as Absolute.
You’re amazing. Quite a bit of work producing this video along with testing and using products. I don’t know how you do it, but I always enjoy and learn from you. Thank you.
My favorite interior detailer is P&S- the stuff is just magic. And I know people don’t always take the brand seriously, but for trim and tires, I’m a big fan of chemical guys silk shine protectant
I’ll admit I’m very biased toward diy detail. I’d have had a hard time putting anything above their products. With that said, not having used any of the products you had in the polishing category, I think gold standard deserves at least an honorable mention.
@@PanTheOrganizer that’s tough. For me it’s a tie between rinseless wash and ceramic gloss. Rinseless because it’s my interior cleaner for about 95% of interior hard surfaces. Ceramic gloss because it’s so easy to use, durable, and smells great. Honorable mention goes to the all purpose interior towel. That towel is magic
Pan, awesome job on this very thorough and well thought out Awards Video. Really enjoy your enthusiastic approach to the product benefits, chemistry, combined with the background cover. Top notch!
DIY Detail cleans a LOT better than any rinseless wash and I’ve used them all in anger. Maybe you need to revisit that category and do some thorough retesting 👍🏻
Oh believe me, I do thorough testing. And I'm one of the rare who can actually sit down and have conversations with the chemists who blend these things (I have a background in medicine, more specifically biochemistry and molecular biology) so people don't realize how much though process and testing goes into making my videos. It's already amazing that DIY Detail made the list in its first year. And if you watch most other detailing channels you'll see they also came to pretty much the same conclusions as me with P&S and DIY Detail cracking the top three in all their lists. It doesn't really matter if you place 1st, 2nd or 3rd. You're a winner if you made the list in my books. Sometimes it's also a question of personal preference. You are free to have your picks, as I'm free to share mine right? ;) Overall though, I'm more of a traditional wash method myself, so rinseless washes are more occasional in my case. I like them for pre-treats before my traditional wash too.
Hey Pan! I am so excited to see the ranking this year!! Many products are replaced by new commers! Hope the products mentioned in the 2022 awards are still good! Thank you Pan for making this video, it is my go to guide when I purchase car detailing products as a non-professional.
Of course the 2022 list is still valid, you can't go wrong. There will always be new products, new brands, etc. Thankfully things continue to evolve in the detailing world, so us consumers greatly benefit from all that competition between brands, they keep pushing the innovation to new heights.
When filming this video (I have to film ahead of time) I only had ONR version 4, and the top three in this video largely surpassed it. Most other detailing channels also agree with my findings. Since then, I have been testing the version 5 formula, which is much improved. We'll see if it makes the cut next year. But ONR is still at least in top 4 or 5 for rinseless washes. It's a classic. Have you tested any other rinseless washes?
@@PanTheOrganizer gotcha that makes sense I know your fair I've gotten a lot of great advice from your channel. Just have to represent for onr because it has been great too me!

For Rinseless, DIY Detail is my choice. Iron remover, iron x definitely not, McKee’s 37 or DIY Detail For polishes 3D one is good, but the Gold Standard is better. Matte paint items are a hoax imho. Wax poor boys , or turtle wax. QD, DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss. P&S needs to wake up and make a product that works without mixing. Ceramic coating DIY Detail 5 year for me, no topper needed, and 1 hour it can get rained on. Graphene, excellent choice Spray and rinse, DIY Detail Quick Beads is the only one I don’t get streaking on. Glass cleaner, DIY Detail Rinseless Wash or N914 Tire dressing McKee’s 37 Graphene or DIY Detail Tire Dressing APC, DIY Detail All Clean is by far the most effective and lowest cost. Solution finish, is there anything else. Interior cleaning, Rinseless is all I need. Interior coating, DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating is amazing, 8 months on my car, leather, carpets, and plastics. Thanks Pan!
Pan this is amazing, I have been waiting anxiously for this video. Thanks for taking the time for testing and recording the videos to help us out. I am truly excited to detailing all my cars. I have some questions and was wondering if you could help. 1. I want to do a paint coating and have read that the Gyeon Syncro EVO as well as DIY Detail Graphene are extremely user friendly. If you had to use one, which one would it be? 2. There are so many products out there and I am confused on what to use after the car is coated. After the car is cleaned, to help maintain the coating/paint. Should I use P&S Bead Maker + Dream Maker, DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss or something as Gyeon wet coat? Sometimes I get scared thinking I am going to ruin something but with your videos you have motivated me to really go for it. Thanks again, for what you do.
1. Both are very good. You can’t go wrong. The DIY Detail is one layer so is quicker to appy. Syncro is a 2-layer (3 yrs protection) or 3-layer (4 years of protection) system so requires more time. For maintenance, it’s actually super simple. You wash the car regularly. And at least once every two or three months, you apply a ceramic or graphene spray of your choice. Don’t overthink the moment. See my ceramic coating maintenance tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/IqIW78FmRYU/v-deo.htmlsi=TCTSNghtZYwmuiEq
Hi there Pan! I really enjoy these! I have been following you for years and it's amazing how far you and car care have come in the past few years. I was watching your older awards episodes as well to see how much things have changed. Anyway, you should consider making a playlist for these now that you have what, seven or so? Thanks!
Thanks, Pan, I love your 2023 awards. You are spot on IMO! Rinseless Wash P&S Absolute is a winner for me. I used the Turtle Spray Flex Wax on my 2022 Black Jeep Gladiator. Works great. Spray and Shine also work the best. Mr. Cartoon Detailer smells better and provides a slightly better gloss, but it's also very hard to apply without streaking. I disappointed it that product. The Cartoon wash works nicely.
Most useful lost on UA-cam, as it is every year. To what the question you asked, what are the top 3 products I've used this year? 1. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam (cannot get Touchless where i love) 2. Rinrei Kuro Tsuya Kizukeshi wax 3. Chemical Guys VRP

If i may, I'd like to recommend two products that i swear by. The first is do-do juice. Its a carnuba-based wax. Handmade in England. Used it on my show car. Works fantastically. The second is an airfresher. Its called Black by TreeFrog. Product of Japan. Smells amazing and lasts anywhere from 1-2 months. If it dries out (gel-based product), just lightly coat it with water and it'll come back to life.
I took Pan”s advice and used 3D one polish and the buff and shine uro pads to polish my black 2019 4Runner and it came out AWESOME. It was the first time I’ve ever used a polisher on a vehicle. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do it myself Pan. I also took Pan’s advice and did the Duraslik HG ceramic coating. It also is AWESOME.

Thanks for sharing. And yes, these videos are suuuuper long and complex to film. Especially in two separate languages. Thankfully they only happen once a year haha.
Auto Zone just put Turtle Wax Max graphene liquid on sale for $10.88 out the door. I bought 2 bottles and I'm going back in a few days to pick up 3 more bottles when they restock it. So for $55.00 I will have 5 bottles of MAX WAX in my garage...This product is one of a kind for gloss, shine, depth of paint, and protection. I live in Upstate, N.Y. where we get crushed in the winter time with snow, ice, and heavy SALT use. This product holds up to it with no issues at all...I also use Turtle Wax Pro Graphene Flex Wax and Pure Shine Graphene detailer for top off to keep this product running strong all year long...Turtle Wax Company is just killing it with their new product lines!!!
Good to see how Adams Adv Graphene Spray is ranking. It's one I picked up recently and I've been extremely impressed with it's performance and cost per use.
Carpro Gyeon and Koch Chemie never let me down! Glad to see them always dominating. Also I fully switched to Wise Guy for my wheels and tires, great stuff
I put Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on my wife’s brand new car back in March and it’s still going very strong! I don’t see myself having to do a full blown detail before winter sets in. My other favorite products were Geon Moes for my Tundra and P&S Dream Maker!
Once again awesome job Pan, i really love those awards. The part i would really love to see more detailed next year is tire shine, i use carpro darkside and I really like what it does but my problem is that i m not really looking for satin finish, I have gloss black wheel and i m looking for a slick or gloss finish and that s the part that i think that is not well cover in pretty much every tire shine evaluation, there should be 2 different categorie gloss and satin. And finally there s 2 brand that I would like to see you test Good stuff (they are pretty much the only one i know that make tire shine in two different finish) and they seem to have other nice products too and the last one is autochem, they apparently make the best road paint remover called paint off and they now have a bunch of new products ! Thx Pan you re the best !
@PanTheOrganizer To separate Satin and gloss finish catergorie on tire, i found a few products in the gloss categorie that I would really love you test out. I really think it would up a notch tire evaluation. 303 high gloss tire shine, fireball ultimate tire coating (high gloss), fireball janus tire coating, Tacsystem tire dressing(wet finish), Renny Doyle double black shine and good stuff tire dressing (shine) ! Thanks again Pan !
DIY DETAILS ARE ROCKING WITH ALL THERE DETAILING PRODUCT. gold standard polish and golf pads both 3.5 and 5.5.also all clean .showing how to use them and why to clean pad after ever set. Grateful advice.😊
Beadmaker/Dreammaker combo mix always has people asking me what I use on my 09 truck and wheels to make it look like I just drove it out of the showroom door. Love it! Absolute is always in the process as well!!
The best product of the year for me has been the McKee’s Graphene Coating wax. It looks fantastic. Application is fast and easy since you don’t have to worry about glass and trim. The durability has surprised me considering it has carnauba. I’m well over 6 months and it still looks great and has self cleaning behavior. Other standouts from the year are Carpro Reset & Bilt Hamber Touchless. Used together they get the grime off and bring back the hydrophobic nature of the McKee’s Graphene Coating Wax when the car is really dirty and built up with road grime. Pan, you have done an excellent job of showing the community that there are many terrific products and that there are many solutions to our constantly varying needs. I really appreciate when you highlight environmentally friendly products. As a driveway detailer whose water runoff goes to nearby water ways, I’m always conscientious about the products I use.
Hi! First I want to say that you are very well spoken and that your videos are top notch. I am asking myself if you are from the US or overseas, because all (or most) of the companies you are using are unknown to me and cannot be purchased in a auto part store or a retail store around me. I am in Virginia. What ever happened to Chemical Guys, Mequiars, Mothers, Griot's....., are they total trash? I wish you could show more of those products that regular people have access to. Thanks!
At the end of the day, this video is the benchmark in the detailing industry. Every time I need a new product, I come back here, Pan is always on point

Pan - I just used Shine Supply Wheel & Tire Cleaner 1 to 1 on tires only. The results were awesome! I usually use Brakebuster undiluted on tires and in a pump sprayer on the wheels and as an add on to the undiluted portion on the tires. Shine Supply removed the old tire dressing and cleaned the tires way better than brakebuster. So for me going forward, I will use Shine supply on the tires and brakebuster in the pump spayer on the rest of the wheel. I also like this better than CarPro Retire as it sprays on better. Thanks for always sharing new things with us.
I'm glad CSL and EXO v5 is in the top 3. I applied it 2 months ago and the water beading is phenomenal! I'm not surprised that P&S Absolute is number 1. Great shine and slickness. I have only just tried out the new Angelwax H2NO! rinseless wash but the shine and slickness here is a few more steps above Absolute! Also diluted as a quick detailer it works fantastic. Very curious to see Swissvax Carat in a video. Here in Belgium 890 euros. Wow!!
I have been counting minutes for this. Perfect timing to prep for the fall and winter. Applied Adam Graphene on whole car. Very small windows between applying and leveling/buffing. Very hard to see rainbow on a white car to know the best time to level and buff, so easy to build high sports and redo. UV light never showed full blue revelation no matter how i applied the product! The water sheeting and beating is amazing though.
My favorite vid of the year. Have you reviewed Wolfgang’s ceramic rinseless wash as a quick retailer yet? You were impressed by the nonceramic version a few years ago. That blue stuff is my go-to now.
So I used CarPro Rest for the first time today, it’s been sitting in my garage since I’ve bought it being I’ve been using Koch Chemie GSF to maintain my car. CarPro Rest is pretty awesome! Definitely get a “cleaner” wash it seems & feels. Will definitely be my go to with GSF for my bucket wash, or vice versa.

Hi, great video, very informative. I’m about get receive my brand new car next week and wanted to DYI ceramic/graphene coating. Can you please provide the steps for doing this DYI and products to use. Thanks
A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers: Aston Martin Vantage: ua-cam.com/video/OKga3yZVTqo/v-deo.html Volvo XC60: ua-cam.com/video/tvDBBenhYFA/v-deo.html Tesla Model Y: ua-cam.com/video/gohks8xP5NY/v-deo.html Porsche 911 Carrera: ua-cam.com/video/2ckiivbFqs4/v-deo.html Audi Q7: ua-cam.com/video/t7HCBSVnizM/v-deo.html BMW M6 Gran Coupe: ua-cam.com/video/0lC9uyKXs8Q/v-deo.html BMW M340i: ua-cam.com/video/etXhJNaF0EE/v-deo.html Audi RS3: ua-cam.com/video/641mAJfKDLM/v-deo.html Golf R: ua-cam.com/video/jr19g4PWJsk/v-deo.html

They both last about the same amount of time, and I featured both in my real world durability test here: ua-cam.com/video/MoBTLpRFFw4/v-deo.htmlsi=b5oAjAnb5h1wk8lc Pick the one that is easiest to order, or the less expensive. You can't go wrong regardless of your pick.
@@PanTheOrganizer hands down the P&S Absolute Rinseless wash! Like you said that slickness is insane. I’ve been using as a pre wash and to get bugs off (2nd fav for the year is Gtechniq - W8 Bug (Splatter) Remover works great as u said doesn’t remove protection) but the slickness left behind from Absolute is better than rain x on windshield or anything else. Almost don’t need windshield wipers for rain!!
Best Car Cleaning Guru on UA-cam and best video - I have been patiently waiting for the 2023 best vid. My top 3 for the year and based of your recommendations are: 1. Adams Graphene Tire Dressing 2. Car Pro InnerQD Quick Detailer 3. Car Pro Pearl - (not sure its the "best" at anything but very good at so many things - extremely versatile) Disappointment: Platinum Potions Jungle Juice - I loved the smell but for me it didn't last more than a day or two. I even but on A/C filter. Maybe it has something to do with the extreme temps over 100 everyday makes it dissipate faster.
Thanks for sharing, and for the kind words about my awards! For the Jungle Juice, that is odd. Did you apply 6 to 8 sprays per section as per the instructions, and let your doors close after the application? It should last more than just 1 or 2 days.

So, I just got a new (to me) M340i and I’m obsessing over keeping it looking new. Just like Plan, I live in Canada and unfortunately don’t have a garage (yet). The deeper down the detailing rabbit hole I get, the more I hear that we use some of these coatings / sealants etc to protect against the chemicals we use to clean the car. My naive question for those experienced here is, at what point is detailing the car ultimately causing as much damage to the surface of the vehicle as you would experience with a simple 2 bucket rise and hand wash once every 1-2 weeks? I want my rims and tires to look shiny, but whenever I had my old bmw professionally detailed I always found after the “protection” wore off the tires and car looked a little more worn compared to pre-application. This channel is absolutely phenomenal (this the the quality of content UA-cam should be for everything!), and I don’t know how else to describe my comment other than a newbie asking a genuine question.

The ONLY awards ceremony that I actually care about!!!
Lmao right, I have some different favorites since I lean towards different brands, but it's good to know what makes the best product, led alone a product you could order without knowing any different, and know you won't be disappointed
Same here.
Let's go! :)
Facts this is why we all follow this guy, amazing content as always.
Dear Pan,
We are completely humbled and honored that our product Extra Tough Multipurpose Cleaner Degreaser took first place in your 2023 car detailing products awards for the best APC. This is truly an honor to receive this award. We work hard to deliver and offer outstanding customer service as well as products. Merci! The Extra Tough Team
Well deserved!
I tried to find your product on Amazon but no go. Even on google there’re just too many options with the same SEO.
Would extra tough be the right product to clean the crud in my trunk jamb?
@@robertstricker8535 Yes. I use it that way. It is safe on clear coat and works really well.
Someone needs to make a yearly Detailing Content Creator Awards Ceremony so we can always vote Pan to take the gold. Thanks for all your hard work Pan. Your commitment to this channel doesn't go unnoticed 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks!

Thanks Chuck!
Thank you so much for putting these together each year, Pan!When can we expect the 2024 edition out? Excited to see the updates! 🙏
The "Clean" maker is a very good combo. Smells great and makes my car super glossy. I wash my car every two weeks and I apply it right after.
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!
I know most people over look Griots Garage products due to being available at auto parts stores. But a lot of their products are top tier. Very impressed with their BOSS polishing system and ceramic spray wax. Wish they got more love on these lists.
I need to test more of their products. I haven't made a deep dive into that brand yet. What are your favourite products in their lineup?
I think Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax would end up as one of your top 3... not sure of the category though.
Thanks! Much appreciated support!
Pan thanks for putting this massive video together! As a weekend warrior I was happy to see that most of the products I have purchased are in your top 3. I jumped onto the DIY line and love it. Across the board it seems they put out a great product no matter the category.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you
Always a great reference throughout the year, Pan! So cool seeing @diydetailofficial popping up in so many categories! Have you tried their Gold Standard polishing system? I picked it up for my 1yo Chevy before a ceramic coating, really appreciate their attention to ease of use.
I started testing the Gold Standard after the awards were filmed (I film well ahead of the release schedule). We'll see if it makes the cut next year!
@@PanTheOrganizer You do an awesome job Pan!

I really enjoy watching your videos. I've been detailing cars since 1965, it was just called washing and waxing back then. I've used every product and have no complaints for any of them. It's not what you use, it's how well you use them! Thank you,

Awesome!
Thanks for the video Pan. For the DIY ceramic detail spray. Per panel, how many sprays do you think I should use (if using for a drying aid mostly). My Truck is ceramic coated, so looking to have a little gloss boost/drying aid.
One or two sprays per panel should be enough.

The 1 day of the year to look forward to. Ever since i had my car coated in 2021 i have 99% of the time used Reset for the bucket wash. P&S Absolute I was using this winter and actually love it. Always great to see what products you show, thank you Pan
Thanks!
I picked up DIY Rinseless to try since everyone seems to like it due to it being surfactant and polymer. I was using P&S Absolute before and found that DIY is def not as slick when cleaning. DIY doesn't give you that extra gloss that P&S somehow does.
Thank you, our DIY Detail Rinseless Wash is a pure cleaner, no gloss enhancers, and nothing left behind but Clean.
@@diydetailofficial It just doesn't feel as slick as DIY but it def cleans well. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. TRC Black sponge seems to know feel as slick as Absolute.

The Oscars of detailing products
Absolutely!
Dinowax - Serum Boost - Best Ceramic Spray Wax - 6/12 months
Extreme Solutions - Topper - Ceramic Detail Spray - Great For Topping Up Coatings or just a quick detail spray 1/3 Months
Vonixx- Synergy Paint Coating - Insane Results and Hydrophobic Properties - still testing longevity
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the award Pan! 🙌
Well deserved!
My favorite interior detailer is P&S- the stuff is just magic. And I know people don’t always take the brand seriously, but for trim and tires, I’m a big fan of chemical guys silk shine protectant
Silk Shine is one of their good products, along with VRP for tire dressings.
I’ll admit I’m very biased toward diy detail. I’d have had a hard time putting anything above their products. With that said, not having used any of the products you had in the polishing category, I think gold standard deserves at least an honorable mention.
What's your favourite product in the DIY Detail lineup?
@@PanTheOrganizer that’s tough. For me it’s a tie between rinseless wash and ceramic gloss. Rinseless because it’s my interior cleaner for about 95% of interior hard surfaces. Ceramic gloss because it’s so easy to use, durable, and smells great. Honorable mention goes to the all purpose interior towel. That towel is magic
Thank you Ethan.
Pan, awesome job on this very thorough and well thought out Awards Video. Really enjoy your enthusiastic approach to the product benefits, chemistry, combined with the background cover. Top notch!
Much appreciated!
And my 2023 award Best UA-camr going to PAAAAAN THE ORGANIZER ❤
Ah thanks! I appreciate it! 🏆🥇👍🏻
I’ll give “Clean Maker” another shot at 5:1. I still had dust issues with 10:1 here in AZ. Have you tried P&S Inspiration Defender yet?
You are free to have your picks, as I'm free to share mine right? ;)
Overall though, I'm more of a traditional wash method myself, so rinseless washes are more occasional in my case. I like them for pre-treats before my traditional wash too.
Thank you
I get so excited for these.
My number 1 coating for this year is Kamakazi ISM 3.0. Surpassed all coatings in actual durability for me when tested.
Kamikaze sure makes some top grade coatings. I also like their ISM, Miyabi and Zipang.

Of course the 2022 list is still valid, you can't go wrong. There will always be new products, new brands, etc. Thankfully things continue to evolve in the detailing world, so us consumers greatly benefit from all that competition between brands, they keep pushing the innovation to new heights.
Optimum no rinse is the best rinseless wash by far...also probably an unpopular opinion but i find p&s to be way over rated.
He factors in a lot of things on these videos, in this case I am guessing cost may have been a factor.
Thanks man. How did you discover my channel by the way?
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on UA-cam as we surpassed 920,000 subscribers and we have over 120 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Oh thank god just in time for me to restock products. Nothing touches my car unless it’s number one in these videos of yours.
You the man pan.
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion!
For Rinseless, DIY Detail is my choice.
Iron remover, iron x definitely not, McKee’s 37 or DIY Detail
For polishes 3D one is good, but the Gold Standard is better.
Graphene, excellent choice
Spray and rinse, DIY Detail Quick Beads is the only one I don’t get streaking on.
Glass cleaner, DIY Detail Rinseless Wash or N914
Tire dressing McKee’s 37 Graphene or DIY Detail Tire Dressing
APC, DIY Detail All Clean is by far the most effective and lowest cost.
Solution finish, is there anything else.
Interior cleaning, Rinseless is all I need.
Interior coating, DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating is amazing, 8 months on my car, leather, carpets, and plastics.
Thanks Pan!
Thank you
Thanks for sharing your detailed thoughts!
Congrats DIY! Coming out strong. I will be making a few purchases.
Thanks Pan for the hard work reviewing all the products.
Thanks!!
Thank you!
Well done Pan for this seventh edition. A classic for me. You are helping us (week end's warriors) a lot with your review. Very good work Pan Thanks!!
You are so welcome!
Hi there Pan! I really enjoy these! I have been following you for years and it's amazing how far you and car care have come in the past few years. I was watching your older awards episodes as well to see how much things have changed. Anyway, you should consider making a playlist for these now that you have what, seven or so? Thanks!
Yeah it’s pretty amazing how far the industry has come and how much the technology has progressed in the seven years since my channel started!
Thanks Mark!
Most useful lost on UA-cam, as it is every year. To what the question you asked, what are the top 3 products I've used this year?
1. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam (cannot get Touchless where i love)
2. Rinrei Kuro Tsuya Kizukeshi wax
3. Chemical Guys VRP
Thanks! And I’m sure you meant “list” and not “lost” hehe.
@@PanTheOrganizer don't type when half asleep 🤣 so many errors...

Hi Pan, congratulations on another seminal detailing video. A tour de force of encyclopaedic knowledge!
Thanks Paul!
I can’t begin to thank you enough for that amount of effort and time that it takes to make this type of video never mind the time invested to research all these products and more, I have seen your tutorial on Matt finish that you did on the AMG but I was wondering if you can do tutorial with Dr. Beasley’s Products for Matt paint? A full tutorial from A to Z, from washing to maintenance. And if you have done one I have research on UA-cam but I couldn’t find your video. Please send me the link in that case.
Did you watch the recent video I made on the Mercedes GT63 S matte, all with Dr Beasley's products? Here: ua-cam.com/video/eU8zg1lXvXY/v-deo.html
And for maintenance tips, I have this matte video: ua-cam.com/video/5RocSxJQmzI/v-deo.htmlsi=2hi_FkJ_3uTY_hTg
Awesome video Pan! Thanks for all the info and congrats on getting close to the big million subscriber milestone. Well deserved!
Thanks I appreciate the support! What a journey it has been since April 2016 when I started my channel. :)
Bro you have no concept of how grateful I am for this video and the quality of this video. This makes it so simple and knowing it has the PANTHEORGANIZER approves it seals the deal for me.
This is the encyclopedic of Car Car products. I appreciate your effort in making this video.
Thanks Rick! I appreciate it, and hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Hehe I'm glad you were able to enjoy the results! Good job man! You see? You can do it! With my tutorials and the info I can share, my viewers can have the confidence to go out there, try things, and enjoy the process. :)
And I see you applied a suuuuper good coating too! Don't forget to not wash your car for the first 14 days after application. The gloss and slickness will continue to increase in the coming days and weeks as it continues to cure. :)
@@PanTheOrganizer I waited 14 days of the vehicle not being driven, did a pannel prep and then flloX on top. I’m super happy with the results. It did get way better several days in.
Once again Pan you nailed it. What an awesome awards video, so much detail, so much useful info & really helpful for us DIY fans here in Belgium.
Thanks! I appreciate the positive feedback! And hi to all my fans in Belgium!
This is awesome Pan and I've been waiting for this. Like I've said before, any time during the next year when I want to buy a product in a certain category, I always refer to this video to find out the best option for my needs. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion Archie!
Pan my favorite part of your award ceremony is the Hard Carnauba Waxes. I appreciate that you mentioned the Carnauba Wax % b/c that’s what I look for when I’m shopping for a wax. I was also impressed that Gyeon Q2 uses an additive Flourine which helps to enhance the beading properties.
Great point!
thank you for this beautiful video. every time I follow them, I take my notepad and write down all your tips and all your tricks and the products you use. I'm glad I found your channel. greetings from your Italian fan
Great info and videos as always. What is your recommendation for weatherstripping/seals protection & coatings?
One of the best products I’ve ever used is KCX super foam. Ph of 12 but depending on the dilution, you can use it like GSF and saves tons of money. Perfect for the prep for coatings and decon
Wow. I bet that was a lot of work. Appreciate it. My favorite 3 products are:
Carpro Reset
3D one
Urofiber 50/50
Honorable mention is Rag Company Gauntlet drying towel.
Thanks for sharing. And yes, these videos are suuuuper long and complex to film. Especially in two separate languages. Thankfully they only happen once a year haha.
I LOVE the annual Car Detailing Products Awards Video❤. Always so interesting to see your top picks for each category Pan👏🏻. Great video as usual👌🏻
Glad you like them!

Thanks for sharing.
Carpro Gyeon and Koch Chemie never let me down! Glad to see them always dominating. Also I fully switched to Wise Guy for my wheels and tires, great stuff
Good stuff!
I put Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on my wife’s brand new car back in March and it’s still going very strong! I don’t see myself having to do a full blown detail before winter sets in. My other favorite products were Geon Moes for my Tundra and P&S Dream Maker!
Thanks for sharing!
Love that Shine Supply finally getting some love . They make great products.
They sure do. I have a full review of their lineup too.
The only video series that I've seen almost non stop every year and every video
😁👍🏻👍🏻
I'm having trouble deciding on water spot remover. Any suggestions on where to start?
Gtechniq Water Spot Remover, CarPro Spotless 2.0 and Gyeon Water Spot Remover are the way to go.
Love using the 303 protectant on my Keen work boots. Makes them look new and also helps from staining from anything that gets on them.

Thank you
Hey Pan! Awesome video. Love these every year. Going to have to try the DIY products! Take care!
Thanks!
Thank you.
@@diydetailofficial absolutely!
Beadmaker/Dreammaker combo mix always has people asking me what I use on my 09 truck and wheels to make it look like I just drove it out of the showroom door. Love it! Absolute is always in the process as well!!
Yeah it's a pretty great mix!
Thanks Joshua!

Shine Supply Wise Guy and CarPro Retyre are the two best tire cleaners for sure.
Wow great video again pan 👌👌thanks for all the info 😊
Glad you enjoyed!
Wow!!
Thanks for watching!
Sweet! Always look forward to this video release it’s one of my favorite of Pans releases! Going to watch it in a little bit
Let's go! :)
Thanks for sharing!
YOO u guys have no idea how excited i was when I’m a minute in this video. Haven’t really watched pan videos lately but when he posts the car detail awards? I gotta watch
Thanks Jimmy! I hope you are doing well.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html
So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers:

I’ll be rewatching and referencing this video all year until next years !
You are so welcome!
Thanks for the trust you place in my opinion. What was your favourite product this year?
@@PanTheOrganizer hands down the P&S Absolute Rinseless wash! Like you said that slickness is insane. I’ve been using as a pre wash and to get bugs off (2nd fav for the year is Gtechniq - W8 Bug (Splatter) Remover works great as u said doesn’t remove protection) but the slickness left behind from Absolute is better than rain x on windshield or anything else. Almost don’t need windshield wipers for rain!!
Best Car Cleaning Guru on UA-cam and best video - I have been patiently waiting for the 2023 best vid. My top 3 for the year and based of your recommendations are:
1. Adams Graphene Tire Dressing
2. Car Pro InnerQD Quick Detailer
3. Car Pro Pearl - (not sure its the "best" at anything but very good at so many things - extremely versatile)
Disappointment:
Platinum Potions Jungle Juice - I loved the smell but for me it didn't last more than a day or two.
Yes I did. I've only used it once thus far and I will definitely try it again. @@PanTheOrganizer

Just a little mishap, on 16:15, you said Reset and it is Eraser.
Thanks David. Yes mistakes can happen, there are so many products here and it's sooooo long and complex to film. I try my best. ;)
