i watched one of your videos before a basketball game and dropped 23 points therefore it is now going to be my tradition to watch your vids before every game
Needed to comment about Unsighted. Concept of the game is fantastic. Every NPC, Shopkeeper, quest, etc. are ALL tied to a timer. Even YOUR character can run out of time. Go check the game out its awesome.
I wanna talk about Chromie(a time goddess dragon from World Of Warcraft) in Heroes Of The Storm and her time manipulation for herself, allies, and enemies. She's got a time trap, which sets up an invisible trap she can manually detonate to stasis EVERYONE near it (completely uninteractable like Atlas's time stop), one of her ults 3 seconds later resets the target to when they were when she cast it with everything (hp, cooldowns, mana, position, etc.), and whenever she uses her main damage skillshot it leaves behind an echo that will recast it the next time she casts it. Her other ult's just a slow and he other ability is just a three-burst damage, but eh Oh btw she also gets her talents two levels earlier than literally every other character as her passive trait which is neat and kinda time-based
I’ve always loved Ekko’s ability to manipulate time. I’ve been an enjoyer of him since I was so young I was just watching my brother playing him when he was released about 9 years ago. 2XKO Ekko I’ve fallen in love with just the same, because this is my favourite character of all time and, as a lore enthusiast, I think 2XKO works better with his way of rewinding in the main game. I think Ekko’s only interesting time thing in the main game is that his voice lines imply he’s one of incredibly rare characters that, when respawning (something he does a lot because I’m bad at league), he technically never dies. It’s a neat detail that, oh yeah, Ekko rewinds back to his being there before, acknowledges what happened to him, and says he won’t be doing it again. It’s cosmetic but whoever made that choice gave me such joy.
It was a time loop hero shooter where you work with the echos of your past turns, effectively making you play the role of every character on the team while countering your opponents turns and planning against actions from the future. Really makes you think like a time traveler. but it died a few years ago when they didn’t upkeep the servers. (It Wasn’t profitable)
as a fighting game enthusiast of course Im gonna slot in amelia collab from idol showdown. If opponent didnt block it all of your actions are slowed down for a pretty long period of time (attacks, walking and jumping) and you are also fall slower (just like the ekkos timewinder in 2xko) which unlocks hype combo routes and makes your previously unsafe attacks safe or even advantageous,
You're like Scott the Woz but if he played rpgs and competitive games, I mean this in the most positive way possible. Also, for characters that could "peek into the future", an idea would be to have time be rewinded by a few seconds, yet your opponent's moves still play out as it did, only you get to do things differently. Unbalanced as all hell, but would be really cool as a ridiculous super in a fighting game.
I'm kinda sad you didnt bring it up since its literally the whole gimmick of the game, but Xenoblade 1 has one of my favorite uses of time powers in the vision system which lets you see an enemy's future attack at random that they WILL do if you do not stop it, usually eliminating one or multiple party members. You can stop it though, and the game gives you many ways to do so. Another way it uses time is to show you at random if an item you just picked up be it a enemy drop or an item orb is part of a side quest in the future, so you know to hold onto those items for that quest.
@@PixelRory he does like poof, there are some clashing opinions about it but the game's on a beta state so it could change. Also an update for it is coming soon so keep an eye on it to see what supergiants does
For fighting games, they can balance time manipulation, just look at geras or sub zero in Mortal Kombat. Because of combo scaling, them having abilities that puts you in stasis/freezes you can work without being too overpowered

watching my videos proven to have basketball related benefits. This must be because I like kurokos
It's about time you made this video, and i gotta say what a masterpiece of a video you could even call it timeless.
If RTgame made videos in the style of Scott the Woz you’d have Pixel Rory.

what was ekko's first appearance?
i think paradox's swap ult is more related to her being a thief than her time powers, she 'steals' your position
Haven’t watched the full video but if he somehow mentions Lemnis gate I will ascend.
I'm very sorry to say that lemnis gate was not mentioned, please enlighten me

Missed opportunity to talk about Moon: remix rpg adventure.
I'm surprised there was no mention of turn based systems in any way given that Ting Lu fissure was mentioned in the one shots video.
Chronos in hades II unpausing your game is amazing
I haven't played hades 2 yet. Fuck do you mean chronos unpauses the game
