I believe you’re supposed to run the engine while the compressor is on. The higher voltage to the compressor keeps it running more efficiently and as a bonus, it doesn’t drain your battery as much.
And you are 100 percent correct I should have noted that, but as I was filming for you guys I didn’t want engine noise since I have an exhaust to be in the sound clips,
Depends on what kinda batteries your running in my rig 98 dodge diesel I have twin AGM deep cycles in the engine bay I replace the factory lead acid and 8D AGM battery in the back of the truck that I used to power my front and rear winches 8 CFM 100 percent duty cycle compressor that has also been mounted and some other stuff it’s overkill for most people but since I had to move my spare tire to the bed because it’s too big to fit in the factory location I put a 10 gallon air tank under the bed, and that 8D AGM battery has enough reserve capacity to power a heating/air conditioning unit for my little tow behind Humvee shelter trailer all night long without even draining it down halfway and since they are AGM deep cycle batteries it does not harm the batteries getting drained down at all I will admit that the set up is way overkill for most people out if you are still running normal lead acid batteries then yes it is bad to operate things without the engine running

I got this pump n dump and couldn't be happier, especially when we meet up after the trails. I'm usually out before anyone else, except for one rig that uses compressed air tanks.

I built my own using flexzilla hoses...it's also a four tire set up. Is there a reason why you wouldn't use a 4 tire system?
I use to both options are good just doing the four u have to carry and move around more hose
Sadly you can’t get the maxi track no more
Co2 10 pounds tank takes me less than 50 seconds per tire from 16 to 35 psi the downside is after a while you need to pay for tank exchange every time which runs like $24 now , but no love the fact of opening the cargo door and pulling the hose in no time and air up fast
For airing down the arb deflator is the way to do it cause removes the core and keeps it in ready to go back

It would be nice to figure out how to mount the air compressor under the hood. There seems to be lots of space on the passenger side under the hood. I don't know if anyone has done it.

All pro 4x4 out of Fresno has a kit where you can install it on your bed. I did and wired it to my auxbeam switch panel. Now I don't have to pop the hood and it's easy to set up.

Tell me again why for $200 more you wouldn’t just run the dual ARB and mount it in your engine bay?

If u got the money yes arb is the way to go but if u want something just as good maybe better then this works and you can move it car to car like me for example my wife has a jeep so when we take that offroad I have the capability of transferring it over if I had the arb I couldn’t do that that’s the main reasons just versatility and price lol
This is faster than the arb
Arb is $410 more expensive and has half the output.
After you burn up a couple ARB you won't ask that question. The ARB also delivers way less air. 300lpm = 10 cubic ft per min.
