Damn, crazy how headlights can make a vehicle look good or bad!!! A very important part of a vehicle in so many ways!! I just put new headlights on my car last week and I'm looking at my car twice now lol. Great job!!!

Damn I just yesterday finished up this same set of headlights in my 93 sure wish I'd known about The Cutting needed to get these to mount upright. I spent probably half a day trying to get them to fit properly before deciding to cut. what a pain in the butt. and now today I find this video Just My Luck
Thanks for the vid. I was planning on buying them after the new year, but your video solidified that my decision to get them is the correct decision!!!
Hello, I just bought these same headlights and I have them installed, would you possibly make a video going in depth about how you put together the wiring harness?
@@CPsGarage installing these same lights on my 95 power stroke! Question on the harness install. The great black and red back wires... Do you cut those and connect them directly to your new harness or did you tap into them?
Haven't gotten back to it. Between work, side work, and a new baby we have had a lot going on. It's on the list of things to do. I will give one heads up if your connectors are missing the gaskets they will fill with water and damage the c bars.
Those lights look awesome. Rather than a blacked out Ford grille emblem you should consider a lighted one in blue. That would really put the finishing touch on an already cool truck.
Did you have trouble getting the beam in the right spot? I just installed these. The housing on the back of the light is way to big and hits the metal frame of the truck. Between the light and the battery. So I can't angle the light far enough up... I'm just lighting up about 5 feet of ground in front of the truck
I just had to modify the black piece. I was able to get a ok beam pattern. I plan on readjusting them again one I restore the truck. Until then they are ok.
I have always loved Ford trucks and cars from Ford because it’s American made my grandfather had a 1970 pick up truck 4 x 4 I forget the model name either a Ford 350 or 250 or 150 I don’t really remember all I remember That it was very fast and very reliable. I do love Toyota pick up trucks better though because it’s made in Japan and my friend has a 2018 Toyota RAVE XLE with moonroof this car stereo is OK. It doesn’t rock the house so to speak, but it is very very beautiful car, very aggressive and fast I love putting it in the sport mode and Eco mode.
Did you not need the "hyper-flash harness" because these trucks don't need them or did someone else already add one...sorry I'm confused on that part. Also do you have a video of the other harness you did use that you made for the lights?
Didn't need the harness because someone had replaced the flasher with a LED compatible flasher. The other harness is just a couple of splices and connecters wrapped up in tape.
So you wire drl wires into wire harness for module then just plug module in and thats it? Drls will come on all the time when engine is running without headlights? Are u still happy and are the still working good?
I'm happy with them for the most part. If your sockets are missing gaskets water will get into the lights and damage the bars and stain them. The adjuster light ever other aftermarket ones suck. If you can find Ford adjuster in good shape use them. The DRL'S harness is already there. I just cut tlone of the wires to supply voltage to the c bars. The C Bars are on when the truck is running or key on with parking lights on.
@@CPsGarage you mean the bulb adjuster that comes with the lights suck? Do they sell ford adjusters? Dont even know what they are. I think ebay has drl module lmd100 for $86. I was looking at baja retrofit he has same drlmlights but put in hids but they are $750.
With the LED I have in it it's has no problem lighting up the road. The change from my original lights to these are so drastic I wouldn't know the real difference between stock lights and these. I went from not being able to see the road to being able to see everything. I may notice more once I start driving more in the dark.
I need your help i try to do the same on my 1996 f250 i install those blinkers it switch the color but dont flash like suppose, that i missing something??????
I bought some orangeade led drl cbar headlights like these and I wired them in but they don’t turn on do I need to buy the separate module if so why didn’t the seller or any seller for that means have a description on what you need for the lights I feel like all the things I needed for it to work should’ve just came in the box
Really nice! I've got a 1994 ford flareside that I want to upgrade the lights on. Should I use obs or do you recommend another brand. I kinda want something that bolts right up because I tend to break things that need to much modification. Lol
Would it be okay to run the C ring lights and the fog lights with the same wire? I have the same bumper and it has the fog lights but i also want the fog lights to be running as daylight
If you used a relay. I personally wouldn't run fogs and running lights on that circuit. Relays use alot less amps and I personally don't know what kinda power the DRL module can put out.
