ever contemplating of having a second set of wheels for the m4 on a larger spec 19s or 20 for the looks and to drive with the same od? how many times will you realistically take this to the track?

The front fitment on this tire setup is honestly perfect for street and track use. The back is a little too tall but I know you can’t go any lower because of the diffuser. Maybe eventually you could add more of a fender arch to extend the fender but I think it looks amazing on these tires.
Nah, it completely screws up the roll centers and scrub radius with the insane wheel offset needed. It will be slower than a stock M4 on the track.
I still say you should streethunter some very thin overfenders to fix the shape of that rear wheel arch
Honestly I know the build is ambitious and expensive but an Adro kit looks way better imo
I have realized every time he tries to convince us the fitment “is what it is” he’s just convincing himself because he knows how important wheel fitment is
Yeah 💯 I feel the M4 needs a new racing style wheel, the HRE’s aren’t it for this build.

18:25 One thing I find hilarious about modern BMWs is they always respond to you washing them like they're a happy car because the water sets off the comfort access sensor in the door handles. My X3s do it all the time when I wash them.
Audi R8s and most Porsches do this too
always makes you fell like they respond to you by saying "Thank you!"
On Audi/VW if you just place a key inside the car while washing they don't do this!
My mazda also does this. ^ yeah just put the key inside and then it shuts up.
Any car I have ever seen with comfort access does that, my solution is that unlock the doors and leave the keys far away from car or inside the car.

I am as big a fan of GT3 cars and I follow BTCC, Super GT and IMSA like crazy. Having said that, it’s a street car and it’s so close to perfection. Drop it back off at SOS and let them re-engineer the wheel arches. 2-3” of material, especially in the rear will make this an incredible car.

yeah have it fill in tha tmassive gap or just have 19s around or even 20sd to make it look good

The 315/40/18 nt555 g2 tire was the factory tire for the hellcat at one point hence the size.
I absolutely love the M4 build and it’s so sick seeing you actually driving it and enjoying it so much I can’t wait to see this at the track

Hey TJ, I recommend getting the upgrade kit from Obsessed Garage for your Karcher pressure washer. Massive difference and much more convenient when washing the car.

I run a more serious track oriented wheel and tire setup to better match the car both road and track. I'd do a 19X13 squared with Kumho Ecsta V720 ACR 355/30/19. It's a 27.5" OD and the tire is incredible.
Can definitely see the difference on camera!

Tire setup did it for me. I want it to be lower but I like cars tucking tire, this ain’t meant for that. Killer work gentlemen
10:24 the weights work against each other. better to remove and add until it's right. but as you said. the tires isn't meant to be balanced

Where did you get the small ramps for the lift need them for car. Always have to use wood blocks or jack it up to get the arms under the car
Are the tires on backwards on the front? Tread direction looks wrong

How do tell? Is it because on the right, the tread is going forward and on the left, its going backwards? What happens if the tread looks "neutal direction" how do you tell? Genuine question
@@ohitsham manufacturers print on the sidewall what the rotation direction is. If mounted incorrectly the water veins and sipes will not function properly. Driving in dry will mostly be fine, but it also just looks wrong too

I understand it defeats the purpose of it being an authentic GT3 kit... but the car isn't a GT3. Why not just re-engineer wheel arch area of the quarter panels and create some sort of bumper valance/splitter/add-on to fill in any misalignments? Street Hunter literally has this capability. We get it, the kit is a GT3 kit. You did. Now evolve it. DISCLAIMER: I know nothing.
You guys should add washer and dryer for shop towels etc.

TJ you can go even taller. Nitto offers a 555r2 305/45r18. It will grip better and be 28.8 inches tall. Or since that’s more of a drag tire you can get nt555g2’s in a 295/45r18. Also Michelin offers a 295/45r18 ps4 that is slightly shorter but the width is usually a bit wider than Nittos

I've always wondered watching all the content on the M4, for overall maintenance and changing wheels and tires, would it be easier to change to a bolt and lug nut setup rather than using lug bolts?
Actual street tires made a huge difference in the overall look of the car. Gap obviously still there but doesnt look as goofy as it did with Drag tires

Yes nt555 that tire is available but the tire specifically on your car they may not have available but some guys do like cars that are a lot lower. Hence we would like bigger wheels and then just fill up all that wheel fender Gap but overall we like the car

If the rear gap is start to bug you, why not create a trim peace over the rear wheel gap/arch? With carbon fiber or just BRG?

3:23 you can tell the suspension isn't happy with how low it is from how cambered that inside wheel gets when you turn. I'm sure you could get in contact with a suspension company to make some new bars/links to correct the geometry though cause I think that might hurt this car a lot on track when you compare it to the stock g82

thought it was just for the test fit but the LF and RR are backwards, hopefully someone there catches it.
Would it be possible to fabricate taller strut tower mounts (so that the coilovers mount higher within the towers) so that you could achieve an overall body drop and reduce the fender gap without adjusting the coil over set up? Sort of like the opposite of a “body lift” for a truck. Seems like it could be the answer to the problem. But you guys understand the situation better than me, just a thought.
There are several solutions, all require fabrication but its definitely possible and more so for such a type of car and with the resources (both contacts and $$) that this shop has. Trying to ride out the situation by saying "its a gt3 kit" isnt the answer. The GT3 race car has better gaps than this.

Don’t know if it’s possible or “safe” but is there an option to add spacers above the shocks to give the car more height from the floor to the frame? While allowing the shocks to be adjusted so the car’s body can sit at height of your liking? This probably doesn’t make sense and I could be completely viewing this the wrong way but just a thought I had
