Here's *one* positive thing I'll say about her, more or less on her design. Netherrealm did a good job making her absolutely DISGUSTING in MK11. Her design, her moves, fatalities, all make her wretched and can make your skin crawl. You can tell Netherrealm wanted to drive that home, and they nailed it.

Well, it is pretty simple: Mileena died and since she has numerous clones of herself, the new one wasn't awaken at the time of her death. In the last Mortal Kombat, she didn't get any time to fight since the time line got hectic. Yes, there were others that should be introduce but that's what happens when you screw with time. So, now that everything has been slammed back into reverse, we now have a chance to see Mileena, Shinjuku, Ermac, Reptile, and many others have a chance to have a new future.
If all else fails, just get Flash to fix everything.

Should you take D'vorah out of MK11's story, it would play out the exact same way. 2) "Also I don't see what's so bad about her..." : first and foremost, D'vorah has no character: she said it herself, she only cares for the survival of her species. You can't even call it perseverance or determination, every action she does is dictated by her literal basic instinct. She's little more than a talking animal, which uses that chance to speak only to remind us what an unlikeable, opportunist, sadist being she is. Ironically, her most striking trait is her appereance, that is a revulting bug. Second, D'vorah has been pushed on us by NR since MKX for no reason and without earning her place: the horribly written plot of the last game slimply demanded us to accept this unkwown newcomer and her role in ending the much more interesting, by now wasted, storyline of one of the most popular and fan favourite characters of the franchise. Having her succeeding in killing Mileena was bad enough, "add" the lack of any personality aside a sadistic pleasure in killing and the most basic instinct to survive and you got yourself the most basic, boring, unrelatable, hateful character a fighting game can have (pretty much like Aeon from Soul Calibur 5, but worse).
So, this is why I do think there's a lot to be considered bad about D'vorah and the only way I could be satified with her is with NR permanetly terminating her character in the next installment. Given MK11's ending, it hopefully might has already happened.

I love how the people of the Outworld just saw their dead king return with a bunch of other dead people, have heard Raiden speaking of past and future colliding and knows that there are two kings now that want to rule on them, but a moment later thye're just all like: "Yeah! Past Jade was for the Outworld story, Kitana became Kitana Khan and killed Shao Khan, but I will agree about past Erron Black. I don't understand that one either. He didn't die in MK10 and he always works for the highest bidder, who in this case would be Kronika. So yeah, I don't get that. Mileena could've actually added something to the Outworld story.

Axel Kasai they didn’t bring her back for the purpose of making kitana steak other characters moves. Like jade. In mk11 it looks like she’s been working with the other revenants this whole time, yet she wasn’t in MKX? Mk in general has pretty inconsistent and idiotic story writing

D'Vorah doesn't have lips, she's an insect lady, she has mandibles. Though it is kinda true, Mileena could have chomped on D'Vorah's face but I'm guessing its just because she wasn't expecting to be kissed and you know pumped full of flesh eating insects that would devour her face, and gut. By the time she realized it was probably too late as the D'Vorah's kids would have already been eating her brain
