@@notserious6458 There's a dialogue in there somewhere where it's stated that Frost was dismissed from the Lin Kuei for questioning Sub-Zero's authority, which would imply loyalty/insubordination as the reason for her dismissal. It's pretty well established that she was arrogant, reckless, and bloodthirsty long before she joined the Lin Kuei.

I more just think that she requires magic in general to live, it is just that MK magic is a lot more pricy unless you are a god, but Soul magic is considered the most powerful mortals can obtain, and is what Shoa Khan and Shang Tsun use, which can maintain their lives for what essentially becomes forever as long as there are souls to siphon.
It also appears that the more powerful the magic, the greater the costs. Kotal also uses blood magic, but he uses it much less than Skarlet, probably letting him remain independent from it. Ice and Fire are used often and seem to just not be very taxing on the bodies. Shadows/Darkness requires full devotion to it from the looks of it. It is likely that Blood Magic has a hunger effect that really does essentially make Skarlet like a vampire, most likely due to just how much she has used it that she became super dependent on it and will starve without it.

1. It's not canon that Kenshi's dead, or either Takeda and him are both dead or alive. Anyway It doesn't matter as the whole timeline was restarted.
2. Takeda will never bond with Kenshi as well as he did with Hanzo, the only little thing that Knehsi has managed is to get a bit closer of him, yet he'll never be Hanzo ... the man who acted as the real FATHER, paternal figure, friend and master to Takeda.
3. Deep down Takeda will never forget Kenshi for being the INDIRECT KILLER of Suchin ... Takeda's mother.
4. Kenshi sucks as a father ... abandoned first Suchin and then Takeda, because his bleeding heart for his hopeless adventure will never allow him to take responsibilities properly. Literally trusted and abandoned his 7-year old son with an ex-demon of the Netherrealm, and then he left him AGAIN in Johnny Cage's responsibility, like if Takeda was Hanzo's or Johnny's responsibility.
5. Kenshi is selfish to the dose, first he didn't care Takeda grew up alone and mistreated (Ninja enviroments work that way), but also didn't care that his mother raised a kid on her own, what'smore ... MANY years later Hanzo finally had a son, a person he would be proud of and wouldn't make him feel the void his dead family did on him, only for the blind prick to steal his so called "best friend's" only actual happiness, he separated Takeda from Hanzo ... only to then endose his son AGAIN, and this time now with Johnny Cage. I know I HATE Kenshi.
