Just by her eyes alone, you can tell that she looks so crushed by Bi-Han's words.
You can tell that she's tired of being rejected and treated like she's less than. Which is really no one's fault but her own considering that she has an unwarranted and massive ego.
Frost is like that one emo bitch who is mean to everyone then wonders why they don't have any friends.

If she knew anything about his personality, she would have already been aware of his sexism since he so readily mentioned he would never allow a female warrior in his clan.
Frost demands respect, but she doesn't give it. She wasn't even showing manners to Bi-Han, just trying to throw shade at Kuai Liang.

I love that about her. Quite the opposite to these days way of thinking, that people and the State should do things for you because you're a woman. Here in Argentina that's awfully common, for instance feminists obligated the state to make a law by which it's mandatory to have a 30% of female artists in music festivals... I mean, you might enter a music fest just for being a woman, regardless you're a talented woman or not... Real artists like Edith Piaf or Whitney Houston didn't demand the state to include them in music festivals just for being women, they made their way relying solely in their amazing talents. Kitana will do everything for her realm and won't need to stick with others just for being women, nor will she demand to be treated differently for being a woman, but because of her worth as a person, just as she treats her people. That's true power.

@@notserious6458 There's a dialogue in there somewhere where it's stated that Frost was dismissed from the Lin Kuei for questioning Sub-Zero's authority, which would imply loyalty/insubordination as the reason for her dismissal. It's pretty well established that she was arrogant, reckless, and bloodthirsty long before she joined the Lin Kuei.

I more just think that she requires magic in general to live, it is just that MK magic is a lot more pricy unless you are a god, but Soul magic is considered the most powerful mortals can obtain, and is what Shoa Khan and Shang Tsun use, which can maintain their lives for what essentially becomes forever as long as there are souls to siphon.
It also appears that the more powerful the magic, the greater the costs. Kotal also uses blood magic, but he uses it much less than Skarlet, probably letting him remain independent from it. Ice and Fire are used often and seem to just not be very taxing on the bodies. Shadows/Darkness requires full devotion to it from the looks of it. It is likely that Blood Magic has a hunger effect that really does essentially make Skarlet like a vampire, most likely due to just how much she has used it that she became super dependent on it and will starve without it.
