Well done. Do the MDT weights on the forend have rubber in/on them? The compound archers/hunters use Limb Savers, on their bows, to reduce the vibration. Something MDT could look into for rifle shooting.

I am interested in which triggertech you are using and how you are installing this trigger. Triggertech states they do not have a trigger for the howa action. Is this a custom installed trigger that only a gunsmith can do, versus a drop in trigger? love the channel btw

Ek is mal oor die video's man ek is 13 en ek het 'n geweer wat net goedgekeur is vir lisensies, maar dit is op my pa se naam want ek is te jonk maar ek kan nie wag om die warbird silencer te bestel nie, ek is so opgewonde.

Well over r200k the optics alone will be over r80k . So Anything from 50-100%markup on what the usd price is. South africa gunshops are very expensive because they want to make big profits and not tiny margins. Majority of rifles you see are double the price from what they are in usd. Thats why the gun community in south africa is extremely small because the shops are too expensive.
@@kr-lp2nj I know the prices are crazy here in South Africa, also the gun laws are just stupid. We can buy a silencer on the internet and shipped to your door, but you cannot replace a wear item, like a barrel without months of waiting.

You need to upgrade your scope to a Tangent Theta or Zero Compromise.
It's kind of crazy to me that yall run such a small cartridge in an enormous rifle... LOL but I get it. That 6 dasher in such a heavy rig probably feels more like a 22lr then a center fired cartridge capable of reaching out to the extended ranges yall shoot at which is kind of the whole point. Just out of curiosity does all that added weight make it harder to stabilize everything when shooting off of barricades or does it help there also??
What is harder to move.... an empty ice chest or a full ice chest? Heavy rifles follow the same principle. With that rifle and a bag and those baker wings you could almost shoot the rifle "free recoil" style off a cattle gate and still spot impacts.
PRS style shooting is a recoil game. Everything is geared towards recoil mitigation and spotting hits/misses.
@@kirkmartin2223 exactly correct. Now that the PRS season is over I'm already playing with ways to mitigate bolt impulse (I run gas gun) even more. I added a gray ops weight kit a couple of months ago. (Brought rifle weight up to 17 lbs) Now I have a 7.8 oz titanium bolt carrier group (standard bcg weight is 11.3 oz)and a JP Rifles silent captured spring builders kit sitting on the bench waiting to go into the rifle. Once I figure out which spring I need combined with proper gas setting on the gas block it should be minimal bolt impulse which, as you know, should translate to better recoil management/shot tracking. (Also going to upgrade glass this winter as well.) Oh, I shoot 6 ARC so it's a soft shooting cartridge to begin with. So much easier to deal with than .308 in a gas gun.
