My mt07 had an intake, exhaust, and custom tune on 91 fuel. It was a little ripper, I put a quarter turn throttle on and basically made the bike unrideable to anyone who wasn't familiar with my bike. It was an on off switch. One of my buddies who only rode for maybe 3 months at the time said my bike was slow from what the internet told him. So I let him ride it, totaled my bike within 2 minutes. He didn't even get into the power and I told him to take off in second gear because of the throttle tube. Even in second dood took off from a stop sign ripping the meanest wheelie I've ever seen. He wasn't at 12 O'clock he was more like 10-11, he scraped the pillion seat. Thank god for full coverage insurance and humbling experiences on both of our parts.
Back on my 2018 XSR700 I switched to the R6 throttle tube, 2 Wheel dynoworks ECU flash, full yoshi R77 exhaust and intake mod really made the bike a blast to ride in the city. However with 75 hp or so you're not really doing much past like 80mph or so it picks up slow still.
@@ganuvien my bike made 80hp even on the dyno 68ftbls of torque. I made a good friend racing in the wild, he had an mt09. Id get the jump everytime from a dig until I hit 100 and run out of steam. Very very fun bike. Now I ride a klr650, you wanna talk real performance 😂 getcha one of these!

BTW the airbox mod is the snorkel delete, I literally just put the ecu back in on my R7. Flash + full exhaust so i’m excited to see how it performs when I take it out today

I put a full titanium Spark exhaust on my 2024 Street Triple 765 RS, the midrange and top end felt a lot different afterwards. It runs up to redline as the power is coming in. I’m waiting on BT Moto to get a flash kit for it. I would like more rpm out of the motor if possible. I also want the throttle restrictions lifted, can definitely feel the power restrictions in lower gears.

theres a guy on YT with 2 tenere700's they use the same cp2 fz07/r7 engine and 1 has 169,000miles, the other has 174,000miles, thats crazy high miles! motors are tanks!

my fz07 is setup the same, from same tuner 2wdw, full exhaust with intake snorkel removed.. i think only diff's between the 2 bikes is the rear sprocket on r7 is 1 tooth less than fz07, and bodywork/riding position
Hey bro. Need your advice 😅 Recently got my first bigbike, it's a Honda Nx500. Whenever I drive it, first gear is only around 30-35 km/h max. 2nd gear is around 50-55 km/h max, if I exceed those speed the machine vibrates too much. Any tips?
@@adobomoto haha ya its not what I would consider fast but when I got a chance to ride the one I did a video on a couple weeks back we took a nice highway ride after recording and the fact the bike can hit that 140 blew away my expectations I thought it would die at 120-125 and It didn't. Its not a 600. will loose to one in speed every time but it carries for longer than I expected its a noticeable speed increase over an MT07.
I went with the yoshimura exhause for my 2024 R7, sound isn't much different actually. But boy the difference from that weak stock one and the after market is so significant. Ride safe out there
I'm telling you man these new bikes need ECU flash and some restrictions removed like airbox/intake mods , etc to really bring out the power. Check out 2 Wheel Dynoworks and his videos, Nate Phipps is a quality tuner that does real rider tunes that will instantly change your opinion on almost all new bikes that have the stupid throttle restrictions down low and more.
