Yes lowering the amount of calories you eat isn’t a bad thing, but triple digit calories should almost NEVER be reached by any coherent human being. Edit: a lot of people have replied saying how humans can survive with extremely little food. Yes. We can SURVIVE. Hell, we can survive 30 days without food in a life-or-death situation. That does not mean we SHOULD EVER get to that point. Of course, it can’t be helped sometimes, but humans are not HEALTHILY able to function properly without enough food. Survival does not equal healthy.

I have chronic nausea that often stops me eating for multiple days at a time. Don’t do it, I’ve almost died multiple times. And almost ended up in a coma twice. It kills the blood sugar and sends you into hypoglycaemia. Eat normally unless you speak to a doctor before changing your diet dramatically.
As someone who is still recovering from an eating disorder who is also eating disorder. It’s practically impossible to work out while eating this much, let alone have any gains.

As a religious person who has some experience with fasting, I confirm that eating absolutely nothing for a day is more bearable than eating only a little bit. It's like having no internet vs having slow internet.
Not eating or eating so little doesn't take away just fat it also burns into muscle tissue, making you weaker. And also not eating as much can take away energy, making you more tired and not wanting to do exercise or things that build up muscle or strength. And lastly not eating as much as your supposed to can cause you to have iron deficiency which makes you shaky and sometimes pass out. I would NEVER recommend not eating or eating very little, you body needs energy and fuel to get through the day.

I fast 1-3 days out of the week whenever I feel like it I even work out intense on the 3rd day to really focus on challenging myself and I honestly can say I’ve felt healthier while working out when I fast than when I eat healthy

I actually had a diet like that few months ago. I was eating 300 calories a day. And i lost 16kg in 6 weeks.
