The negative comments from some of my fellow countryfolk are embarrassing, especially the ones that can't offer a tiny morsel of a complement Many a Scot struggles with the Gaelic place names and you clearly meantioned that you passed Glenfinnan Viaduct on the way to Skye and that it wasn't in Skye. We went to Scotland 2 years ago for a 10 days' trip. And only 1 day on Skye. I would like to go back to visit Skye and stay more. Dunvegan is the birthplace of my family. I felt my roots. I love Scotland.

I was in Isle of Skye a few years back - amazed by the places. Been to 4 places you mentioned, unfortunately i didnt have the chance to visit Viaduct bridge. Subscribed to your channel - keep sharing
@@RyanShirley its a train trip from Fort William to Mallaig, called the Western Highland Way, supposed to be one of the best train trips in the world, stunning views. We caught the diesel train which was about £20pp, but they also do a trip using an old steam train, which costs slightly more.
I absolutely loved Skye! Unfortunately it was very rainy when we were there and the fair pools were flooded. We were still able to do everything else though.
Gorgeous shots! You were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather when you did the Old Man of Storr hikes! We stayed on the Isle of Skye for 6 days and it was rainy and windy almost the whole time. Finally did the hike in wind and light rain before leaving.

I equally loved the Brother’s Point. We visited Oct 19. Unfortunately couldn’t hike old man of Storr as we were with a toddler, and it would often rain. Your drone shots of the place are gorgeous
Believe it or not, you missed the most beautiful part of Skye - the valley's of the Cuillins and to the other side. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a "can't get there from here" situation. But if you make it, you've got just about the most beautiful spot on earth all to yourself.
West coast of Scotland.. Beautiful medievil landscapes. You didn't really get any in there but even more beautiful if you can get some of the fabulous Castles in shot - Get the drone back flying 😉

You should do the NC500 Scottish road trip too - 500 miles from Inverness that takes in Glen Coe, West coast around Skye and further north before coming back down to Inverness ✌

Lynn Pietras May is generally one of the better months for weather on Skye and it’s also before the midges really get going, but of course Covid means not this year. I was due to go climbing in the Cuillin mountains in May but have changed to end of September in the hope that Covid restrictions will be lifted. Enjoy it whenever you go. It’s a climber’s paradise but even for non climbers there’s plenty to see.
What do you do to be able to travel to all these places? Do you have any suggestions on ways to travel like this for other people? Do you do odd jobs along the way, to pay for travel or do you have money saved up? I'm assuming the videos can help fund it, which would be amazing, but for someone not afraid to work and play hard, any advice on how to plan a first trip? Love the videos, just found them recently. Keep em coming🤙

Midges are a nuisance. Won't entertain Scotland in summer at all, midges are rife in summer. The national bird of Scotland is an Eagle.

Wonderful shots and great memories! In 2016 my wife and I did the Skye trail - a great multi-day trek that passes some of those places. Just lovely!

We walked up to the Old Man of Storr last year. Couldn't see until we could touch it, rain, wind and mist but well worth the effort.

I get that too, my MacLeod of Harris ancestry lived in Geary, on the north edge of Skye.
The highlight of my trip.to.the UK last year was to the Isle of Skye. It is so beautiful and so magical.
