I've been to Malta 4 times and will go again for my birthday this year. It's the friendliest, most beautiful country on earth imo. I love that around every corner there's something beautiful awaiting you. The churches make me cry they are so gorgeous and I'm not even religious. If I could move there and live forever, I would.
4 times that’s amazing! Malta was never really on our radar until our friends were visiting and we were absolutely blown away! The sea is just better there I feel. Could not have been more impressed. I know we went during off-season but we were surprised that it was as affordable as it was! Thanks a million for watching our videos!
@@HeresGoodTravel you asked about what the bells were at st Johns church meant the service was starting when it was toned down it is giving the time chimes like that all day and night my grandparents lived around the corner from the church
Thanks for sharing your experience, and thanks for appreciating what makes this island(s) a marvel. May I, as a local, point out that you have passed meters away from cultural, architectural, and religious treasures and (seemingly unaware of them) missed them. When you entered “ta’ Giezu” church, immediately upon turning right, you passed (what is locally revered as) a miraculous Crucifix. This Crucifix is extremely loved by the locals because it has a story attached to it. When the sculptor came to make the head of this Crucifix, he felt confused and tired, and decided to leave this task for another day. Returning to this work, the Sculpture was complete with its Head in place! Also, that church (with the bells ringing) is Saint John’s co-cathedral. Suffice it to say that some behold this church as among the most beautiful in the world. Only experiencing could do justice to appreciating this Baroque magnificence. (Hopefully for you, for the next time).
Wow so cool! Thanks for passing this knowledge on for us! We had no idea all this stuff was right there! Malta is definitely a place we will be returning and we will be sure not to miss it the next time around! Thanks for watching and allowing us to come as visitors and sharing this beautiful place with us!
@@HeresGoodTravel Thanks. Please make it a point to visit this cathedral, and the Caravaggio masterwork (The beheading of Saint John) in an adjacent building. And, if you haven’t yet, visit the old capital of the island - Mdina (The Silent City).
Lived in Madliena which is the only hamlet left in Malta lived there for 17 years. Lovely video thanks for sharing. You can get weekly bus tickets for 21 euros and this also includes Gozo as well.
Oh wow that is incredible! How much is the regular ferry to Gozo? The bus ride from St Julien to Valletta was really pretty. We did get in the wrong direction once and the bus driver was NOT happy🤣. What a magnificent place we knew so little about, truly a world gem!
@@HeresGoodTravel I just came back from Malta on Monday. I stayed in Mellieha. My friends and I made mimosas in little water bottles and took them on an 8hr tour!!!! Haha
Unfortunately breakfast was not included but there were many affordable options just outside. The Pastizi place we would recommend but there are coffee shops and breakfast places right there for €5 or so. Thanks for watching, malts is the BEST!
Everything about this video was beautiful, I’ll give it a like for sure. I just want to say, how can you visit the island, go home and edit the video and still not know that you were pronouncing pastizzi incorrectly
Sorry man, I’m kind of being overly critical. I’m glad you guys had an amazing time on the island. My grandfather left Malta at age 18 in 1942 and started a life in Canada. We all live here still and I’ve visited Malta a few times. Fun fact: he was a little boy during world war 2. For protection from enemy bombs, he lived in a cave with his family (and many others) under the capital city. They were down there for 6 years and lived off government rations. You probably walked on top of the cave while touring Valletta.
Truly appreciate the good energy and passion behind your content !! Keep up the great work and info , you guys make me want to travel with you ! 😂 Also why does Brandon always capture the most iconic moments of life lol or does life capture the most iconic moments of Brandon ?
Correction. The Queen didn't give Malta its independence because of how well Malta fought during the second world War. Malta was awarded the George Cross which is on the Maltese flag. Anyways, $30 a night is a great deal when you compare a night in London. Glad you liked Malta by the way. I'm half Maltese living next to Valletta. 🎉.. Church bells chime every 15 minutes.
I live in Paula Rhal Gdid, but now I’ve seen the videos of this couple in Romania Im going to Romania I think! Malta has been fun but you have seen it after 6 months
Hi@@HeresGoodTravel it has certain time everyday.,as far as I remember.,the bell rang before 6am, 12 mid-day, 3pm for 3'o clock prayer, 6pm Angelus Prayer

Thanks so much for watching! It will be beautiful when you are there, have the best time!
@@HeresGoodTravel thank you!!! 😊
The boat tour to Gozo was totally worth it and we loved the little train ride for 6 euro. Malta is so cool, jealous of you truly.
@HeresGoodTravel I have never seen the trolley ride! It's on my "to-do" list now 😉
Malta is always ready for your next visit, Gozo, too! Cheers!
These are getting better and better . Good work guys
Thanks so much dude! Working to get better each video! Thanks for noticing the effort!

Oh man... that pork belly! Amazing dinner and time with you guys. So glad our plan worked out!!
Take me back!!!
The Pastizzi are made with a special buttery pastry which they roll out quite a few times. Not a Puff pastry. 🇦🇺🇲🇹
Ahh that makes sense because of the layers! It was so delicious, such a great cheap snack!
I love the wine on the trolley! 😊
Haha we had to be sneaky! It did make the stunning Malta views a little brighter😂. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!

Also sign me up for pickle rick pickle backs 😂😂
Thanks guys for another dope video
Luckily we’ve never seen them but we stay in some ghetto spots so it’s worth checking. Pickle Rick 4 lyfe!
The famous guy is Andre Rieu of the Netherlands
Holy cow amazing! Thank you thank you! We watched a bunch of videos of him, what a talent!

Hi lovely couple.,In the Catholic Church, they sound the bell inorder to call people for prayer🙏
Amazing! Thanks so much for the clarification. Do they do it at the end of a service or at a certain time during the day?
Hi@@HeresGoodTravel it has certain time everyday.,as far as I remember.,the bell rang before 6am, 12 mid-day, 3pm for 3'o clock prayer, 6pm Angelus Prayer
WHY DOSE IT SAY 28 DOLLARS A DAY
$28 was the base price and what we paid per night after we applied one free night from our hotels.com rewards points
Theres an elevator from that port. You didn't need to take those stairs

this tuesday coming ime on a flight to malta i cant wait, @@HeresGoodTravel
I can see you are wearing coats so you must have come in the rainy offseason. Today that hotel is around 60 euro per night.
We were there in the middle of November. Luckily it only rained the once when we first got there. Blue skies the rest of the way!
Now is 200 euros a night
No way! We made this trip last year and it was in November! Possibly winter rates are still a little cheaper. Prices everywhere are skyrocketing
@@HeresGoodTravel maybe Booking is charging more than when you directly ask the hotel for price.
Three beds 😭😭
Dude it would’ve been way better with you there!
