Good video, useful advice, thanks! Can you please send me the details for the food tour specifically, as there quite a few tours from different companies on grtyourguide.
Been there for one week now, honestly Maltese people are the kindest people I have met in comparison to all the European contries I have been to❤️ Such a bright people
As a Malteser I can say you did a lot in 5 days, including some places I have never been to myself. Maybe next time add a trip to the Blue Grotto and some more Maltese food, there’s loads more authentic and interesting dishes
For the future video you could add a visit to T'a Qali. Home of the Nation Football Stadium where tours are available, next door is an Interesting aviation museum and the Craft village with beautiful, locally produced glass ware and jewelry.
Great video! After stopping there on 2 different cruises, we decided to book the Airbnb belonging to the wonderful tour guide that we used both times. It is in the village of Rabat, and about a 5 minute walk to Mdina. Loved the sights on your video.
Definately missing is the traditional village feasts, every week in summer one or multiple villages celebrate their patron saint. The larger cities also have 2 or 3 feasts for the differnet patron saint depending on the area or heritage.
Thank you so much for helping me with my trip to Malta was much more than i thought.Precious islands .Soooo beautiful ❤ The beaches are so warm and blue.October is great to travel Malta is such a good Weather warm all day😊❤ kisses
Thanks, Matt! Hubs and I are heading to Malta on the 21st. We basically planned our itinerary based on yours. So, thanks for saving me ton amount of time to research! Happy Travels!
First time I’m watching your vlog. I reckon you should have your own proper show…say on NatGeo, Discovery or some travel channel. You are very engaging. You probably just need to wear your shirt on often.
for any maltese residents that see this, i notice the majority of pastizzi are either ricotta or peas. i grew up with my grandparents making them in Canada with meat and peas. is that not as common? my grandpa was born in żurrieq and nana in gozo.
My son is a Doctor now and certainly when he was in medical school, and worse in residency , certainly never had a minute to travel let alone anything else. Maybe in the UK it's easier? Have no idea.
I’m also a landlord and have 2 businesses - the British medical degree is renowned as being the best in the world, alongside those in the US, no such thing as easier. I just work ridiculously hard around the clock, and love it.
@@TheMattJames No disrespect intended. I certainly enjoy all your videos, and they're very informative and fun to watch. However, I have three children in medicine, and the amount of time while in medical school and residency was typically 60-100 hours per week. There absolutely was no time for anything else! This I know for a fact. Also, although the UK does have medical schools on par with the US, the finest medical schools in the world are in the US and Canada. That being said, the argument is not with the quality of education, but that if you were really a dedicated medical student you would not have time to do anything else but that! I speak from a place of knowledge first hand living through this with my kids.
@@marktheshark7006 that’s fine, but your experience is not first hand, mine is. And incorrect, UCL Oxford Cambridge are the best medical schools in the world, among the US ones. Canada is not in that list. I did an undergrad at UCL. Thirdly, please done put limitations of others on me. I regularly get quizzed on how on earth by balance it all, and still score highly at med School (I also have a medical school Vlog UA-cam channel you can check out, I talk about my results there) - I’m a bit of an anomaly
@@TheMattJames Actually Harvard is still the number one medical school in the world. Best of luck trying to complete a residency that "requires" 80 - 100 hours a week of work to become a competent doctor!
@marktheshark7006 residency in the US is 80 hrs/week for 5 years. UK residency is double doing 40 hours a week. Mind your own business, stay out of mine.
Good looking guy but don’t understand why his dad features so prominently in these videos? This completely neutralised the careful curation/attention that Matt otherwise places on ‘a good looking guy in astounding places’ & we stopped watching. Not quite the ‘living the dream’ travel videos that are likely to persuade me to travel here as all we could think of when dad appeared was “OMG! That’s Matt in another 30 years!”
Hi I am going to Malta on 16th March this is my first time visit I am staying in Gozo for 7 nights, my flight will be arrived in Malta airport 1955pm is it easy to get transport to Gozo, shall I hire a car for the trip, is it easy to drive in Malta and easy to find parking 🅿️ space anywhere in Malta

Lovely people!

One of the most engaging travel vloggers. Love watching!
Awesome information dear

Your series is exactly what I was looking for to plan our trip! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

Is that fresh water spring in Xlendi..?
Not treating the waste so well, many bays been closed this year for extended period due to e-coli contamination.

Your videos are better than the ones on TV 😂
Thank you!
Fantastic video
Thanks! 😃
In what month did you visit Malta? Is it warm to travel there in april?
Not too warm usually around 20ish degrees in April, closer to 25 towards the end
Which food tour did you do as there are 3 on the app
If you click the link in the description, it should come up! Called other tour
Still doesn’t say which tour - do you mind me asking how much you paid
The best Malta travel guide i've watched
Thank you!

Eeee GG Thanks for this video ! 🦾🦾
Any time!
Great video guide, I am Maltese and never knew Malta has a river..!! Think he meant harbour / creek..
You are right!
Is it safe to walk around in Valetta?
Absolutely it is but be warned there is lots of steps and banks
how much for 1 day private tour with transportation
nice video:) going in march - are there any facemask requirements?
Right now I highly doubt there is! But worth checking on their gov website

I’m in Malta, looking for places to visit
Are you the guy from big brother 2015
Used to be 20c
looks like totally like a Greek island
Ajn tuffiha not gajn tuffieha
What nationality of females are there. I get straight to the point.
Every kind you can think of live in Malta. I would say the least are American and Canadian.
Why the mask in 2024?
Nice video, but seeing people wear face diapers was a bit disturbing.
Why are people still wearing masks??? Was this filmed a few years ago?
PLEASE keep your shirts on unless swimming or sunbathing. It is so disrespectful to walk around without
You're pronouncing pastizzi wrong. As a Maltese American it's killing me 😂
Why are people wearing masks?
Because this was shot over two trips, this bloke is fake
Because you pooped your diaper...

Slow the video down. The pace is a smidge too fast, discouraging viewership.
