With a huge pleasure i present to you my very first creation to make your trip to Malta easier. Awaiting for your feedback ❤️ alexinmalta.com/product/malta-guide-book-vol-1/
I know many people in Australia who came from Greece, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt etc etc etc. They all have their hearts in their birthplaces and yet love where they live also being Australia. I think many people are very lucky to love 2 countries and have the ability to spend lots of time in 2 wonderful places they love. Enjoy Malta. Definitely one country I need to visit soon! 👍
You actually can apply Maltese citizenship by descent, provided your parents still alive, think about it this provided an opportunity for acess to European Union, jobs, healthcare and to live and travel!
It must be a generational thing. My Dad came to Australia 1972 and always kept saying towards the end, he wanted to die in his own country, so he returned to Serbia in late 03’. He passed away a year and half later. Now years later as the years go on I feel it in my heart and soul I have to return to visit my homeland as well. If I could afford it I’d even buy a cheaper property there some day. Time will tell. Great video.
Hvala Dejan :) back in the days everyone was migrating to AUS, US and Canada, nowadays everyone wants to return, our countries are offering much more with the money earned in the bug countries
Alex this was the best video you made with your dear friend ❤ I got emotional about hearing this story and I’m not gonna lie,it brought tears to my eyes. You so humble and down to earth. Got bless you and to Dolores for telling her story 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

I think there’s a real connection between Australians and Maltese. I’m an Aussie living in the UK, Ive visited Malta 4 times and I love it so much. I hope one day to retire in Malta too. Maltese people and Aussies are very similar. I think that’s why Aussies are happy in Malta and Maltese are happy in Australia. The friendliest people in Europe are Maltese people. I love them and I love Malta. ❤

The people in Malta sound better than the people in Cyprus . I could never live in Cyprus because most of them are so arrogant . Australia is so beautiful but most Europeans never go and experience nature in Australia . I love the scenery in Australia . I heard that Malta has beautiful architecture . That would be lovely to see .
HI Alex this is Lawrence from Australia. Thankyou for such a great video. Also a big thankyou to Dolores for giving such an open truthfull and down to earth recollection of her life journey with migrating to Australia and then returning back to Malta. It reminded me very much about my parents journey when they migrated to Australia from Malta in 1956. I was only two years old when I went to Australia with my parents and I have returned back to Malta three times and always enjoyed beautiful Malta. I was in Malta last summer and had a wonderful time meeting up with friends and family and I watched many of your videos before I visited Malta and they gave me some great tips on all the wonderful places to visit in Malta. Alex you should be commended for your work you are doing to promote this tiny island Malta. You are a great ambassador. If I come back to Malta in the near future I will look you up so we can catch up for chat. Keep up the great work......sahha

Alex,I’m a first time viewer of your videos production. In a nutshell,it brought me Laughter,Tears and Intrigue. Dolores, you’re a GEM. You’ve told us your life story clearly with a bit of sadness regarding your belated husband, but managed to tell us of your heartfelt happiness living in Malta. I emigrated to Sydney, with my parents,in 1963. Similar story to yours- better opportunities for my brother and I. Australia has been extremely kind to us and will be grateful for EVER.I also enjoy other parts of the world whether it be History,Landscape,Food,Hospitality etc…It’s a Big World out there and there’s a lot to experience and enjoy. Thanks again ,Dolores and Alex.

Hi Alex, just watched your video, here in Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 l could relate to everything Dolores had to say ! I too emigrated to Australia from the UK in 1984 with my husband & two children ! After 39 years down under I still miss my country & siblings. I go bake to the UK 🇬🇧 for holidays, the people give you time of day always ,something you don’t get in Australia! I chat to people,if I’m shopping in the supermarkets sometimes & it’s not often it’s reciprocated ! Another thing while out ,you don’t often bump into people you know ! In the UK it doesn’t matter where you are ,there’s always someone you know ! Like Dolores,I lost my beautiful husband,if it wasn’t for adult family & grandchildren, I think it would be easy for me to move back home ! Say hello to Dolores 🥰

Your roots will keep calling you. Where you are born is your heaven. It was a great chat to listen to. I know that, as I live in Edinburgh and has been living here for 15 years!!!!!! There is no need to inform me of what country I live in thanks very much. Scotland 🏴is part of the U.K. 🇬🇧 though.

A very good friend of mine went back to Malta with his wife. Almost 40 years ago from Australia. He has an interesting story to tell why he went back

Welcome to my channel 😍
Dolores did the right thing cause many feel the same about life abroad it can tend to make one feel isolated and vulnerable unlike back home where you feel you fit in immediately.
Thank you Alex. I enjoyed the story. Ciao.
❤️grazie
Great video, I relate to Dolores's life story. Emigrated to the USA made a successful living, but always miss Malta.
