When we bought Seawind on Lake Erie, most places we traveled, if our boat sank to the bottom the mast would still be sticking up out of the water! Since heading off into the ocean, our tiny sailboat has seen depths of up to 10,000 feet! It is wild to think that there is so much water below our little boat. Most of the time you don't think about it so literally but on our passage to Spanish Wells on the island of Elerthera, Parker gets hit with the reality of how deep the water really is.
Our passage goes smoothly from the Berry Islands, and Seawind enters the cut and into Spanish Wells. We find ourselves at a beautiful dock surrounded on one side by mangroves, and the other side filled with homes. This new place feels different from the other Bahamian islands we've visited.
This episode ends with us baking some crackers with our sourdough starter, and having a lovely dinner aboard our floating home.
    Enjoy! #digitalnomad #boatlife #lifestyle #epidemicsound #sonyalpha #travelvlog

We were just there! Watching you from Grand Bahama Yacht Club Marina after a long day from Great Harbor Cay. Caught a mahi along the way. Fair winds!

Deep water is crazy. Did a cruise to bring a boat back from Bermuda, we stopped for a swim on the Hatteras Plain where it was 3 miles deep. Maybe not the best idea, we found out later from OCEARCH that there was a tagged great white pretty close to us. The videos are awesome, great work. Keep them coming!

To Funny, Herbes de Provence does not have a D in it. It is not providence. It is a collection of Herbs from the Provence region of France. However, it is also a collection of whatever herbs are "of" the location where you are. Whatever is specific to your location. In the Caribbean, it might contain Vanilla, Mace, Allspice, Cinnamon, Clove, Paprika, Ginger, Nutmeg maybe even some Chaney root, etc. As these are all local to the islands.

That is SO funny!!! 🤣 Thank you for the correction and the lesson on how different regions affect the ingredients!

Ok there's 10,000 ft. below you But....... There's 300 billion miles above you ! Just another way of thinking ! Kinda makes that 10k seem small don't it !
