A beautiful, charming Duchess, there isn’t a Royal who couldn’t learn something from her, I remember her embracing the losing finalist at Wimbledon, the first time I’d ever seen a Royal embracing a member of the public. She just oozes compassion, yet has such sadness in her eyes.

What a wonderful woman .We need more documentries about royals who do work behind the scenes. Many people simply don't understand how the Monarchy works. People have no idea the the yearly tax to the Sovereign Grant is less then 60 p (around $1) ..It's nothing compered to how much they do . They are so important to UK ,the Commonwealth and the World .
I know ,that Royals hate braging about their work but I think it's necessary. It sets a good example

I love the humble and beautiful Duchess of Kent. Her loving and faithful heart and devotion to her faith are to be admired. Her compassion for people is so genuine. She should be an example for a certain recent royal wife who is her destructive and false opposite!

I love that the Duchess of Kent was a woman of genuine religious faith..she quietly converted to the Catholic faith and privately taught school all those years..why can’t women today be more like that?

I have met her on a few occasions and she is the most loving humble person you could meet. I had a chat to her on the main staircase at Buckingham palace during a function and she was so lovely.

I remember at the time she married the Duke of Kent people mistook me for her! I suppose it was the 'English Rose syndrome' Now knowing until now what she has done and her love of teaching I can identify with her even more! I have met the duchess and duke of kent as they were both patrons of my school. They are both lovely people and very interested in what everyone was doing. I myself have lost a child by stillbirth I understand the pain of baby loss. They keep cutting people of during what they saying.
I do believe she helped out in a hospice or an old peoples home, see her wearing her tabard.
She helped me a disabled woman.
This film is an independent...it can't decide if its on the left or the right.
The poor editing and out-of-sync audio make this documentary extremely difficult to watch. Too distracting. Nevertheless, Katharine seems like a decent person among the royals. She does her duties without fanfare unlike the royals today who seek adoration from the public. Queen Elizabeth should be proud to have her in the Firm.

Agree. The makers of this documentary are absolute amateurs. All their videos are the same in that they continuously join the clips together the wrong way round which also affects the audio. If they want to present things for UA-cam they should employ a professional to make the video and not try to do it themselves.

Such a wonderful human being! The filming of this the back and forth of the profile or side views of every frame is very irritating. Whomever filmed this should stop that ASAP. It was filming that was spastic at best.
Exemplary lady. Presentation of her was very poor - why was that on the screen impossible to read because it was mirrored and then when it was the right way round it just flashed up, hopeless to read, were the presenters trying to hide something? If you think it was cool, well you're wrong. I can't give this a 👍. I think you shoukd be ashamed of yourselves.

I don't know why you write that she is not acknowledged or appreciated by the Firm when she obviously is. The Queen made no fuss when the Duchess of Kent wished to give up her HRH title and move away from royal duties, in fact fully understood her. The Queen, although Head of the English Church, made no fuss when the Duchess of Kent converted to Catholicism. The Duchess of Kent wished to lead a life out of the limelight and go about quietly helping others in every way she could and her choices were respected. She is still a very much appreciated member of the Royal Family and very close to the Queen.
She and the Duke lived separate lives for many years. A few years ago, she moved back in with him becuase he had had a stroke
The queen will miss her favourite daughter-in-law, how sad. Sophie is a an impressive, dignified woman. I wish her-and the Queen-well.

_Today, a record number of Americanos can't afford rent and they may think they've got it bad on their side of the Atlantic, but spare a thought for the little island on the other side of that great ocean. A land of black taxis, red buses, stiff upper lips, and corrupt property factors. What is a "property factor", I hear you Americanos ask. Well, a property factor is a private company which is supposed to take care of the maintenance of private homes or apartments in a neighborhood, and they do this by employing plumbers and electricians and cleaning companies, etc. That is, a property factor is a "bridge" between homeowners/tenants and the actual people who carry out the actual maintenance. In return, the homeowners/tenants pay the property factors (a.k.a. residential factors) a fee (perhaps monthly, and perhaps other fees as well, as is deemed necessary by the factor themselves.) But this is where the trouble (for the homeowners/tenants) starts. When they the sign the Deed which (among other things) says that they will pay a collective fee to the property factor, the ability to choose whether or not they wish to pay is essentially and legally taken away from them. It's like collective punishment. They may own their own home and may not want to be burdened by the maintenance of common areas in an apartment (for the SIMPLE reason that they don't live in an apartment!), but their hands are tied -- they signed the Deed (without doing so they'd not have been able to own their own home in the first place) and they are now at the mercy of the property factor who (if they are dishonest, and in most cases in this country, they ARE) can inflate charges, and bully and threaten homeowners with legal action if they refuse to pay up. Probably the WORST property factor in the UK is called _*_James Gibb Property Factor_*_ based in Scotland. This company is, for all intents and purposes, a _*_criminal organisation._*_ They will charge astronomical fees (far above and beyond what other factors would charge for similar "services") and they won't answer emails or phone calls from apartment residents when they complain about a broken elevator or light fixtures or dampness on a wall or leaky plumbing or a backed up toilet. The Directors of this wretched company have been STEALING money from clients for years, but no one can stop them. In fact, the _*_Group Managing Director of James Gibb_*_ happens to be the _*_CHIEF EXECUTIVE of the PROPERTY MANAGERS ASSOCIATION SCOTLAND (PMAS),_*_ I kid you not. That is how corrupt Scotland has become. James Gibb's No.1 priority is to squeeze as much money as possible from clients and use intimidatory tactics to prevent them from taking to social media to air their grievances about this criminal company._
If you look at uk.trustpilot.com/review/jamesgibb.co.uk and read all the POSITIVE reviews about James Gibb factors, you will notice the similarities in word construction and style of writing. Several posters have noticed this. I am pretty sure that *James Gibb* has employees writing FAKE reviews in order to counterbalance the dozens of NEGATIVE (genuine) reviews by disgruntled clients. This company is really, really insidious and corrupt. But they know no one will stop them, least of all the Scottish Government. One more thing. Whenever you see on a BAR CHART the number of one-star reviews versus the number of five-star reviews, and you see that they are the two biggest bars, and two-star, three-star, and four-star, are nowhere near as big as ONE and FIVE stars, you can bet that the chart has been manipulated. This is because, mathematically, things tend to assume a Gaussian shape, or a bell shape with the median being the highest, e.g. distribution of IQ takes on a bell shape. But here, you have the median being the least, and that's a giveaway that the distribution is fake as f#%k.
