- 2,5" downpipe, runs to 3" stainless steel tube. Splits in two 3" tubes, ends in 4" chromed tips. No cats, no mufflers, no resonator. Just pure tubing. For pictures, see:

Heb je die 2.5 TDI B6 nog? Ooit last gehad van de popo m.b.t db's? :P 3000- rpm doen ze de test als je rijdt zonder load op 3000 is ie vrij stil
Ik heb 'm nog hoor! Geen last van wat betreft politie. Toegegeven, toen ik eens te laat was met 2 (kleine) boetes werd ik ineens 3x aangehouden voor "bandencontrole", en "hij maakt wel wat herrie he", maar dat was 't dan ook wel. Inmiddels 150.000km verder en nooit gezeik mee gehad.
Sound great. Is there any problem or any computer fault message without catalyst?
No, it just runs without issues. There's no lambda control on these engines.

It's a 2,5" downpipe that runs into a 3" exhaust after about 40cm. There's no mufflers or resonators, not even a catalytic converter. Just tubing. Ends in dual 4" chrome tips. Smoke is less than stock (breathes more easily), but please do note: it is LOUD. There's some very annoying resonant sounds (at 80kmh and 120-140kmh). This is not doable as a daily exhaust without some sacrifices.

Goed te doen op de snelweg ivm resoneren? Zit te denken om bij mijn b6 multitronic ook zo een systeem te maken
Tussen 120 en 130km/u is het niet fijn, te hard en te 'droning'. Boven 140km/u gaat het wel, maar is het gewoon luid. Tussen 100 en 120 is het zeer prima, bij 110 zelfs ronduit stil. 90km/u is ook erg prettig. 80km/u is een ramp.
Als je het doet, neem dan wel iets van een klein dempertje, of laat de katalysator zitten. Elke keer als ik een agent zie doe ik even erg rustig, erg legaal zal 't niet zijn gok ik.
Does it sound nice and grunty when downshifting too?
Not neccessarily, it doesn't do in-between blips of throttle, sadly. It does sound mean when you rev it, so also when downshifting and revving up the engine for the next gear.
muizenissen yeah but kind of curious how it doesnt make the typical "owl" sound when letting go of the accelerator, since its just straight pipe
I am gonna do the same to my a4 2.5 this monday and i kinda wanna leave it with no mufflers at all, but at the same time I am not sure if its gonna owl alot when shifting
Mine doesn't do that at all - it's had 3 different turbo chargers so far (stock / old, one revised that's a bit tired and for a very short while a FIN turbo hybrid), and none of them owl or 'poot' in any way. In fact, hardly any spool sounds at all. Downpipe is fully open (no cat), so nothing blocking sounds there either.. :) Be sure to post a video when you're done!
In fact - the only 'bonus sound' it makes is a sort-of dump valve sound..! It doesn't even have a dump- or diverter valve, just an internal wastegate, but you can actually hear a PSSST sound when letting go off the throttle. Quite funny!
