Nice set up. I recommend you get a diaphragm pump like the ones that RV’s have. With a diaphragm pump you won’t run 24/7 or need a recirculation loop back to tank. If the pump pressures up it turns off and then triggers once pressure drops.
I had the same pump foe a while and got tired of hearing the humming noise from it. I upgraded and got the one from northern tools that pumps when you pull the trigger on your pressure washer. I didn't hear you mention a battery isolator. That's something I recommend you install on your vehicle and hook your battery up to... The "isolator solenoid" splits the alternator charge to both batteries but keeps them separate incase you leave a light on and it drains the battery, the second battery will remain untouched and can be used as backup but the main purpose is that whenever you're car is running both batteries will be charged. That's usually what RVs have to charge their systems... Battery isolators are relatively cheap, under $100...

On that splitter do you leave both ends open? Will it only go to pressure washer when in use? Will it automatically go back to tank when pressure washer not in use?
Look into a Deep Cylce battery like they use on trolling motors. Car batteries are for instant cranking power. Deep cycles are for sustained, long period power instead of a blast of electrons.
Do you notice any pressure issues with having the tank lid open due to running the water back to the tank from the pump? I use the same pump (with the plug instead of 12v). I have been considering drilling a hole into the tank for the return line. But I see you just open the lid. Thanks!
