YOOOOO!!!! I put back four bulkheads because i couldn't think of a way to get them to fit on my four 55 gallon drums. You saved the day buddy!! I'm going back to get them tomorrow!! Thanks a million!!
If im not mistaken Sounds like A. 1-1/3 inch drill saw B. 1-1/4 reverse threaded bulkhead with hard plastic and rubber C. 1-1/4" garden hose adapter D . 2 way garden hose splitter (Assuming your hose is 3/4") E. Teflon tape or plumbers tape F. A long string like he said if necessary.
Great video, can you wash a big car or truck with 55 gallons of water I've never done it I'm just asking, but let me let you in on a little secret for those who don't know Teflon tape is just a lubricant, they put in spray cans to, it's the actual taper of the threads that keep it from leaking, two rounds of tape is plenty where did you say you got the bulkhead from thanks again Chris H. Mooresville North Carolina
I have done these for several people around here and feel the need to point out a couple of things. First, you never cleaned out the inner nor outer sharp edges left by the drill. Second, you slipped the cord out before even attempting to put the nut on. You were lucky it didn't slip back inside....and then have a good old time trying to recoup the bulkhead inner parts. Lastly, when you tie the 7/16 socket, you would do well to leave a 3-4" tail hanging off it to make it easier to grab from outside...with either finger or mechanical fingers.
Hi Eric, thanks for the video. Can you share the info on the size and source of reverse thread bulkhead and the adapter? I know the hole saw is 1-3/8 inches and I thought I heard Alternative Solutions as the source for the bulkhead. Thanks!
It's nice to have that amount of water on hand but that barrel is going to be a bear to move once full. Your way is good but. Another way is to pop out that three quarter plug in one of the bung plugs and add a pvc fitting and pipe long enough to reach the bottom. You will need a pump of some kind or you can pressurize the tank. Keep up the good work Peace
So does this method work without any form of water transfer pump from tank to pressure washer? I would think it would gravity feed through the bulkhead-hose-to pressure washer. I’d like to do this setup with a Portland HF 1750psi electric pressure washer.

How did you fix the barrel in the van, is it tied to the van or is there any metal components welded and fixed to bottom of van to hold the barrel.

use a pocket magnet
Shouldve cleaned out the inside of the container so the PW doesn't suck that plastic into the pump.
