I'm really interested in the gravity fed system. Question, will it potentially burn the pressure washer motor of time? My apologies for my ignorance.
Just FYI. The hose outlet has to be lower than the level of the water in the tank for the water to flow. If your water falls below this, pressure equalizes and there is no water flow. This is bad for the pressure washer.
Yes, I’m aware of this that’s pretty basic knowledge. I always have it up higher than the pressure washer. Also, I’ve been doing this for a long time and it still works level with the pressure washer. No issues. Thank you for your concern though.

It depends on the amount of water u have on the tank, if u have 3/4 empty, it will cause to have less pressure.
That is true however it is pretty small at least in my experience but a good point nonetheless
Water pressure in PSI can be calculated. .052 x 8.3 x Height (in feet). So unless your tank is 150’ tall….
@@btosspon3524 Very good info thank you so where are you measuring for the height? From the pressure washer in lid to the top of the water in the tank?
The amount of water is irrelevant. Height is all that matters. As water is used and the height lowers, yes pressure will reduce.
