- Another year, another Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, and this time around, America’s off-road car brand is going electric.
And it’s really quite interesting, so stick around until the end of this video to find out how Jeep plans to electrify the good old Wrangler.
As with every other Easter Safari in recent years, Jeep went all out and came up with four one-off concept cars that are actually driveable.
But for this video I want to focus on the Wrangler Magneto Concept, because it shows how serious Jeep is with all this electrification mumbo jumbo.

Finally, an electric car with a manual transmission like a regular car with a internal combustion engine. That makes things more interesting 💯 💪 Hope car companies see this car and this comment and get encouraged to do the same 👍
Good point, but you need to remember this is just a concept at the moment. So maybe when the final Wrangler EV comes, it will be different.
@@motorheadscom Please no 🤦♂️ A few years back I had an idea of restoring and old Toyota and change the ICE engine to and electric one but maintaining the manual gearbox but I never went through with it. A new car coming with "that idea" already in motion would be the best step towards electrification as it would captivate people like me, gearheads.

I just saw a 4xe wrangler today at my towns auto show, looks pretty cool but I had my eye on the 392 wrangler next to it.
the 392 is so dumb, it's 80 grand for a 400 horsepower jeep
@@gang-yc4je yes but it’s got a V8 and not that 3.6 liter that most have which is pretty cool, not to mention it’s the 392 that’s in R/Ts and scat packs so I’d imagine it’s pretty easy to get power.
@@STLCarGuy well obviously it's cool that it has a v8 but the rt is like 36k, the wrangler is 80k
@@gang-yc4je yeah but the R/T is a muscle car while the wrangler is a muscle SUV
@@gang-yc4je the 392 wrangler is dumb and so is the TRX and Dodge Durango hellcat, even the urus and all the other high performance trucks and SUV’s are dumb but they’re also really cool and awesome
Have a Rubicon and would switch to an electric wrangler.
