The MLB Player That Chooses To Live In A Van

- What if I told you there was a player in the MLB who chooses to live out of a van. That's right. Once a top prospect, Daniel Norris would rather sleep in his van than live in a nice house or apartment with the millions of dollars he's accumulated throughout his baseball career. It's a fascinating story that everyone can take something away from.

Been homeless off and on since 2012. Started living in a tent at a campground for over 90 days this year and living peaceful and around nature, going barefoot. I'm thankful I have this option, but I like having a roof over my head for 8 months of the year. Being homeless has taught me not to take life for granted and that I really didn't need all the materialistic things I once had when I had a home and property back in 2007. I've learned to live a more simplistic and minimalistic life and that's ok! Mr. Norris is a true believer of following your dreams! From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.
Appreciate comments like these and thank you for your service
I wish you all the best.
I have the utmost of respect for him.... he's not homeless. The world is his home..... he's an adventurist.
Well said
What an immensely good dude. He deserves his slice of happiness.
Great vid! As a tigers fan, ol dan was one of the only bright spots of our franchise in the last decade
I once saw D No nearly throw a kid out who was trying to tag from 3rd - from the center field warning track! He also drilled a line drive off me and nearly broke my leg! Outstanding player and a great guy
I HONESTLY wonder if Daniel would do better if he was picked up by a west cost team somewhere where he could be by the ocean somewhere with waves that he could go clear his head before heading to the field to play and back to the ocean after the game to release his stress and get back to 0 again. Like Anaheim or the dodgers, where he could be in Newport Beach and at the stadium in 45 minutes or in the mountains and back to the field in a hour. Either I wish him nothing but the best in the rest of his career and life.
Some people prefer other things to the ocean.
Great vid bro can you do one on Jamie Moyer? I’ve always been fascinated by his career
Taking note of this!
Loved him on the M's. Especially when his pitches got ludicrously slow.
Moyer makes the average man feel like he could make it to the mound
That's cool I always did enjoy his presence on the field was so chill.
Dudes is married to a hot pro surfer so even if baseball career is over, he is doing well.
Not sure if his MLB career is over, hopefully another team will give him another chance.
Free agent btw
Daniel Norris is an absolute chad. Dude is comfortable with life and is loving it
The Nationals need the pitching hopefully he comes to DC. That way he can be close to his family and he can do Surferin down in Virginia Beach and Ocean City MD. It may not be California, but at least he will close to his family.
I remember hearing about this year's ago. Dude is awesome for not being a typical status seeking ballplayer.
Great video! you are very underrated. you deserve a sub...
Really appreciate your comment
Baseball is just a side hustle
same with jokic and basketball but hes a mvp candidate every season
Hes such a nice guy
Correction, Johnson city is part of the tri state area, which is associated with Virginia and Tennessee, not really North Carolina, though it is situated in the corner of Carolina and Virginia. It’s that way because of Bristol. I’m from bristol. There’s a street downtown that literally splits Virginia and Tennessee. I lived in Virginia and went to school in Tennessee. Spent a lot of time in Johnson city and south Holston lake as a kid. Pretty cool that he pitched for the tigers, because when I lived in Bristol, they had the Bristol tigers, who were a rookie level team in the Appalachian league. Then they became the white Sox, then the pirates, and I believe they don’t exist anymore. 😂 Not a big deal, just threw me off when you said Carolina and Johnson city.
Thanks for this information!
Gotta do Jasso next.
I believe you but only because this is a very old story and you actually use most of the footage from the original story.
I love the random picture of Bryce harper

jack johnson is goated
One of my favorites
i think shohei ohtani is more weirder than this guy sOon and the most amazing thing about ohtani is that he is already considered as the goat
Lol. This message explains a lot. 22-38 4.73 era
Did you not watch the video? He's had too many injuries.
