- If you're thinking about a trip to Thailand, be sure to check out Bangkok! Bangkok is one of the most visited places in the entire world, and for good reason. This hustling and bustling city is bursting with culture, architecture and shopping.
In this video, I came back to Bangkok for one reason, let's find out why! Including my thoughts on the city, the huge modern shopping malls and the amazing Thai food.
I started my journey on Sukhumvit 24 Rd and headed over to Bangkok's metro system called the BTS to start my journey in Bangkok. I set off from Phrom Phong station.
I stumbled upon a few 711's along the way, that's one thing I really love about Bangkok is these 711's scattered everywhere throughout the city.
It's so convenient just to pop in a get a nice refreshment, especially in Bangkok's hot and humid weather.
I then made my way to Chong Nonsi station and actually kind of got a bit lost on the way, but managed to find my way eventually.
Upon arriving at Chong Nonsi, I finally got to see the amazing building. The King Power Mahanakhon building. This was my quest and the why I flew back to Bangkok.
It's truly an incredible building with very unique structural design and architecture. I couldn't wait to go inside and go to the top. It only cost me 880 Baht ($25) for a ticket.
The lift up to the top was very fast and high-tech. The views were simply breath taking from the top, and the weather was just perfect. Very clear skies and sunny.
Although you're not allowed to film on the skywalk glass it was still an excellent activity. You can also get a beer at the rooftop bar.
Then I went to the Sea world in the Siam Paragon shopping mall, a really great place to see lots of beautiful and interesting sea creatures. One ticket costs 1300 Baht ($37)
After that it was time to go out onto the streets of Bangkok for some delicious Thai street food. I got a grab bike and headed to Pat Pong Market.
But upon arrival at Pat Pong market I quickly realized that it's not a food market, but a fake brands market. With lots of fake branded products of Gucci, Rolexes and Louis Vuitton.
It also started to rain, and so I needed to find somewhere to seek shelter from the rain. Before I get drenched. I managed to find refuge in a 711. But I needed to find food.
I searched for some Thai street food, but it seemed in this area there was not much.
Luckily I managed to find a 24 hours Thai Burger King, and ordered a delicious angus black truffle burger and fries.
Then I went back to the hotel gym, for a quick workout and straight to bed!
What an interesting and fun journey! I hope you enjoy my Bangkok vlog. Maybe this will inspire you to live in Thailand in the future.
If you're curious about Thailand, or just want to see what all the hype is about, be sure to check out this Bangkok vlog! Bangkok is a fascinating city, and I can't wait to explore it more in the future!

Hello guys! I am back in Bangkok, it feels good to be back!
Thanks to everyone for the support, I really appreciate it 🙏 More videos on the way! ❤
I always waiting for your update video ❤️❤️
I like your video presentation. I will follow your video clip. Thank you for liking Thailand.
ยินดีต้อนรับกลับบ้านครับ
I do cringe every time you try to say words in Thai. You speak Chinese without the forced accent Chinese pronunciation but with Thai you add in an accent while trying to say any Thai word! Just read it in English and pronounce it like an English Except PH is always a P sound like Phuket! No reason to go nasally speaking in Thai! Looking forward to the day you aren’t Nasalling Thai words!
I remember you were not in China? Have you gone to live in Thailand now?
Bangkok has so much to offer. If you have time and want to escape the bustle of the big city, swing on by the islands in southern Thailand. It's a short 1 hour flight to Koh Samui and slightly longer to Phuket. You could probably make a weekend of it and then head back to Bangkok. Glad to see you back in this wonderful country.
thanks for the tips buddy 🙏

👍👍👍👍👍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 Thank you very much
Such an amazing experience, I was there 2 weeks ago and loved it, the glass tray is an experience well worth doing.
BTS is the skytrain, MRT is the underground one (BTS stands for Bangkok Mass Transit System and MRT stands for Metropolitan Rapid Transit)
It was true for about 5 years ago before MRT purple line operated. Nowsaday morethan the underground blue line, MRT also operating purple line and extension of blue line those all skytrain. So the only main different of MRT and BTS is the operator. BTS operate by BTSC company and MRT operate by BEM company. By the way there are another company which is SRTET who operate red line and Asia era one who operate airport rail link. 😊
I thought BTS was a boy band 😅
@@gtrfreak you mean K-pop rightttt…? 🎉🎉🎉
That's not true anymore, but it's a good guideline. MRT is just the Mass Rapid Transit, signifying that the MRTA owns it. Whether it's underground or not is up to the route and whether it's appropriate or not
@@chechoti2877BTS operated by BTSC and MRT operated by BEM was true until a week ago. MRT just means it's owned by the MRTA, but anybody who won the bidding can operate it.
It’s joyous to see with your family and Lincoln is so adorable! Hope to see more of it during your exploration!
I'm not a local person. Last month I went there but I haven't completed my missions as you did. Next time I will track your journey. I really enjoy watching this clip. You inspire me to go back to Bangkok.😁
thanks 👍👍
Welcome to Thailand 🎉
As a Thai person who lives here I would love to share this for your information about HOW TO CONNECT TO SILOM LINE (BTS)
You were in the correct train and correct line to Chong Nonsi that you started from Phrom Phong station.
What you should’ve done was take that train to SIAM STATION than you get off the train- walk to train platform named “Bang Wa” Now u can connect with Silom line which goes to Chong Nonsi.
*** FYI ****
In case if u get the wrong train, u can just cross the side of the train line without buying new tickets.
Hope u have a wonderful time in BKK 😊 Sawaddee ka
I've been there last year June. My ticket price cost around 550 Bath i think. The sky was cloudy and so windy on the top. When I saw the view of Bangkok city, I though I was seeing the NYC. Never know Bangkok was so huge like this. I wanna come back again when I watched your video. Thanks a lot Jason.
Bangkok has an estimated population of 11 million in 2023 and New York City is just shy of 19 million I think? Compared to my country with a total population of 10 million it truly felt HUGE for me! :D
@@laggmonstret I'm Bangkok people and I'm estimated...
- Bangkok people are around 1 million people.
- Up country people are around 9-10 million people !
( Phuket are the same like this )
@@vwatana Ok, you mean only 1 million are originally from Bangkok while the rest are moved in? Or do you mean that only 1 million live in central Bangkok while other cities and provinces such as Nonthaburi Province have grown together and are counted as "Bangkok"? I've also heard a number of 5 million people in "Bangkok Metro" while 11 million in the "Bangkok City". But I'm just a farang 555
Wow you're back in Bangkok again, you must love it so much! I mean, who doesn't? Bangkok is beautiful and so modern and the people are awesome!
great place!
@Jason-Travel
Thanks for this, just discovered today your channel, I have a question please in your last video you mentioned that the hotel was dollars 180, was that per day or per week or per month awaiting for your reply please thanks 🙏. And is it easy to get the visa and how did you apply for the visa application process
@@lifeiseverything9 Hi, thanks, that was per day at the Mayfair Marriot Executive apartments
holy crap 45K subscribers. I remember seeing you at 2.5k and assuring you that you would make it very soon in the comments! Great job! inspiring to me heading out this year to create travel content, thanks
wish you the best buddy 🙏
Many things you can do jason, i'm glad you can make vlog again in thailand, i'm indonesian but i love thailand
I love❤ Indonesia from Thailand ❤😊😊😊
Welcome back :)
In case next time you get on the wrong train, there's no need to get out of the station and buy another ticket. Just walk to the other platform and take the next train.
By the way, feel free to ask the locals whenever you ned help for direction. That will not only save you time but may also enrich your Bangkok experience :)
I think Jason is a bit strange. He has never asked anybody for the direction and probably does not know how to properly plan for his journey beforehand. Getting lost is not uncommon for him. He calls it an adventure with healthy walking.
Welcome back to Thailand
I am glad that you to visit Bangkok again ❤️🇹🇭
thanks brother
Hi Jason, if you are in BTS system no need to exist you can go to the other side of platform and go back to the commom stations that can change to Silom line, so you don't need to pay the fare more .
thanks for the tips
Love the Thailand vlogs!! Can’t wait for more videos.

Big thanks bro hope u enjoy and pls come to visit thai again and again thanks for big trip that u earn to him.❤🎉😊

Wow that looks amazing
Found your page in preparation for my trip to Bangkok at the end of November and this video is the most chaotic thing I have ever seen. Absolutely love it. I'm going to assume all your pronunciation has been perfect throughout. Only disappointed your videos are not a more regular thing.
Great job taking the video for ppl like me to know such a good place. Haven’t been to Thailand for more than 15 years. Haha
So you aren’t planning on revisiting? Or can’t
@@Iceyfire12 would really wish to be there again. Maybe 2nd half of Year 2024, if I can successfully plan for a trip back to Thailand after 15 years. If can’t, will try make it in Year 2025. Haha …
Ohhh skywalk is amazing.. can't wait visit Thailand in June.😊
Welcome back, Jason! Can't wait for your new videos!
thanks.buddy
awesome video, thank you. really enjoy it
In Thailand, there is currently no law mandating the wearing of a face mask. I want you to know that to put or not to put not illegal But there are some groups of Thai people who are quite afraid. Seeing people not wearing a hygienic mask will be worried. I want to tell you that Don't pay attention to these people. Nowadays, Thai people are no longer afraid or worried about COVID. more interested in living and making a living I thank you that you like Thailand. And Thai people are very kind to foreigners.
cute kid. Bangkok is definitely family friendly.

I'm glad to see you back. I'm worried that you've been gone for a long time. think something bad happened to you.
Welcome back Jason!! 18:20 that’s Baiyoke Tower II, once the tallest building in Thailand (before Mahanakon tower was built) where they also sell Pina Coladas at their rooftop bar 😏😁
haha I guess I have to go and grab one 🍹
@@Jason-Travel Baiyoke is still the tallest hotel in Thailand and the whole south East Asia ( Overall it is 4th tallest building in Thailand) Their roof top bar is at 83rd floor and they have 360° revolving roof deck at 84th floor.

Welcome back to Thailand 😊

When you check in on the BTS system, you can stay in the system for 2 hours to travel to different stations if you get off at the wrong station or get on the wrong direction without you checking out.
In the same conditions you can stay in the MRT system for 3 hours
The right way when you want to go from Phrom Phong Station to Chong Nonsi Station, you have to change trains at Siam Station because that is the center of the BTS.
I just subscribed to your channel. I don't know why I like to watch. But I just realized why. It is probably because you did not need to plan too much, the way you searching places and things. The way you talking to the audience through the camera all the time. This is your style. Wherever you go, you bring me with you and makes me excited and interesting all the time. Even though I was born in Bangkok but I still love to watch every video you make.
Thanks brother ❤️🙏

@@Jason-Travel your welcome
Firstly, since we've only 2 metro lines ; BTS - sky train and MRT - subway. But now we've change the way of management as MRT manage the structure & railway while various private factor manage the operation system & train. So we've change the calling name to be "Color Line".
I love watching your clips both in Thailand and in China.

Thank you for the video. Beautiful Thailand , which I probably never make it there.😢😢😢

It is still summer here in thailand during March to May. April and May are the hottest here.
Jason this is one of your best posts, awesome tour....although too bad for the rain...its almost the rainy season Thailand..also @ 6:04 you probably missed that gorgeous young lady walking behind you just before you boarded the train...LOL
haha sharp eyes brother
Exchange the train line at Siam discovery and if you’ve paid to Chong Nontri then just get down one level and take to the left waiting for Bang wa line
thanks for the tips!
Land of smiles bro...clean up your verbage.😂 Sorry didn't hang to see the end of your quest, mayb next time. Keep it up bro...think you are doing good adding a sense of anticipation to your vid.😂👍
The reason there's no barrier at Rajadamri BTS station is because that's how all the station was like--no barrier from the start of BTS. They installed the barriers later and started on the crowded stations first. I guess they did not get to Rajadamri station yet, that station is not so crowded most of the time.
Welcome back Jason🎉 glad you like Bangkok. Tell you what, heat stoke just killed few people in Thailand recently. Btw I never know that building exists with that bloody price of ticket 😮
Nice tourist-selfie!
I think I can safely speak for all Thais here. We appreciate travel vloggers so much. They come here to spend money and help promote our country at the same time. What's not to like? On top of that, as someone who doesn't live in Bangkok anymore, I get real estate development updates from these lovely quirky UA-camrs! Like the cleared plots at 8.18 and 11.47, one used to be an office of a telecommunication state enterprise and the other the American embassy. Wondering what is coming up instead.
I think you have to get off at St Louise Station via BTS sky train, Maha Nakorn Building is on Sathorn 10 I believed.
I love your videos shot in Bangkok because I am Thai but my home is far from the capital. So I didn't have a chance to visit Bangkok. I have seen the city of Bangkok from your video. Because no Thai UA-camr broadcasts this through UA-cam. I love you. Haha.
thank you so much!
Thank God the sky so clear on that day, may be after raining day, the dust was clean from the air. 😊
yeah it rained at night I think
You see the man in the xiaomi ad called FilmThanapat. He is a young actor in Thailand.🥰🥰🥰🥰
From the Silom station, you have to change the train to the Silom line at the Siam station for going to Chong Non-si station.
Welcome to Thailand, Jason!! The person at 12:32 is one of the best actors in Thailand, "Film" Thanapat Kawila. He just won the Best Actor in a Leading Role title for his role in Thai lakorn "To Sir, With Love" aka Khun Chai.

1st. get out from this train at Siam Station (No need to get out from the staion; Don't have to buy another ticket)
2nd change another train to Silom Line (See-Lom) and then get out at Changesonthree Station.
Also there are one day ticket to any where "On and Off all day at one price for tourist, you can just ask from the BTS staff.

Getting to Chong Nonsi from BTS Phrom Phong By traveling from Phrom Phong and changing the station to the Purple Line at Siam Station (Center), where you just go down 1 floor without having to insert the card and pay more money But your walk is a fun experience.
You walked past happy beer garden which does great food!
damn it 🤣
Yeah we'll come back bro

Actually for going to Chong Nonsi, you need to transfer in Siam station then go to the Silom line for going to ur destination. ps. Siam station is the one and only station for transferring.
