The Castle of Fairy Tales used to be the centerpiece of Magic Land amusement park back in the 80s and 90s. The park was closed in 2000, and most of the rides were transferred to Dream World amusement park north of Bangkok. Only the castle was left standing. It is amazing that it is still there 23 years after.

I think it is largely psychological, with westerners calling it vomit fruit, saying it smells like rotting meat or onions etc. If someone asked me, I would describe it as more of a custard texture and flavor, very sweet with a slight hint of bitterness in some varieties. I also think it smells pretty good, I think people just are not used to strong smelling fruits in general, the only thing which annoys me is that the smell stays on your fingers. Durian is the most value oriented item that you had. After 24hours, you will still have that taste lingering in your mouth and throat😅. Btw the mushroom stall is probably the best stop!
You may need to eat Durian more than once to appreciate it. I don't remember if I liked it the first time I had it, but definitely the second or third time I liked it. Also, you need to eat it directly out of the shell. I recommend getting one that is unopened and use a knife to open it. It is okay to get from a stall, but ask them to open a new fruit. That being said, Durian is the king of all fruits, my favorite fruit, and I miss it. Can't wait to get back to SE Asia and have more.
The original Krispy Kreme flavor is the most delicious. It doesn't need to be chewed at all. I like sweet icing sugar I watched your video at 3 a.m. No, my stomach was crying.

I would like to say that the word spicy is very different between foreigners and Thais.
