I worked nonstop for a week to make this before the finale and I did it! Don’t let this flop plz :,D I’m going to miss Steven Universe as i absolutely loved it and it is my second fav show (next to Gravity Falls) it had a long run and I’ll always remember it. :,) Make sure to like and Subscribe for more! It’s really appreciated
The things i used to make this was my iphone, my finger, and an app called FlipaClip
It took about a week but approximately 34 hours of nonstop animating

I love the fact that the mirrors are like memories, and then they shatter near the end and it really takes what White Diamond says into new meaning. "That's not Steven anymore."

This represents Steven perfectly, he tried to be like the Gems, a strong protector of earth, but it wouldn’t stick to him, lots of times he didn’t believe he could change.
I LOVE the imagery, but especially 3 minutes in. When he corrupts, all the windows are broken cause he can no longer see outside himself. This is genius

Funny how everyone's theory of Steven turning into a monster actually came true!
I have to say, I'm seeing a lot of these animatics that would have definitely been way better than what we got in episode 19, they could have definitely given us a great dual sided fight scene, on the outside, the gems pulling all the stops to hold back Steven, and Steven fighting with himself to get back in control after hearing what his friends have to say and how they feel about him~
Sadly cartoon network didn't give them any extra runtime or episodes. I bet they would've with the time!

It would be awesome but it's been confirmed that the gem holds his body together and if it's taken away he would die, his bones are only healed bc of the gem and it plays a vital part as an organ, like a heart :(
Idk if removing and destroying your problems instead of trying to overcome them is a message the show is trying to give.
Moonjoon totally agree but what if the diamonds use their healing powers to resurrect him and yellow uses her powers to change Stevens pink skin( or whatever color it may become) back to normal

Not possible. He was created as half gem and half human. Unlike Lars who was born full human.
Steven's human half is partly held together by the light particles that create gems.

I haven't even seen the whole show but I really want to see how Steven would cope with all the shit thrown at him. I remember when the show was about a little magick boi with a rock in his belly trying to get cookie cats wearing a cheeseburger backpack. I legit only watched the part of the show that was stupid and you couldn't tell the real story.

Two years later and this is still the best SU animatic/animation i have seen to date. I literally just watched it like 5 times again, because it is just so good.
This Video made me realize, that I literally stopped watching Steven Universe when I saw the first episode, not because it didn't seem good, but because it seemed like another immature cartoon network show, but the more I watched it the more I related to it, it made me laugh, cry, scream (especially these last few episodes!). and the songs are just amazing! "Stronger than you, Giant Woman, Change", I just loved to see the evolution, so Steven im gonna miss you bud.
