Maybe only Star knows Marco is the villain here, OR they think Marco was kidnapped BY a villain who now has the wand and found the evidence of a fight between the queen and someone they don't even know, and not only have evidence Queen Moon LOST, but that Marco was there as well. Maybe he left it behind as an apology to Star, for having to do what he's doing, which my guess would be to destroy magic.
Basically maybe Tom is thinking he's going to be the one to rescue Marco, and we'll get a tragic heart wrenching twist when he and everyone else realize Marco is the actual enemy.
I mean, just imagine, Marco learns that magic has had a history of tearing friends and family apart, AND put tons of lives at risk and even KILLED HUNDREDS of people, then, when he's unsure of his trust in it, his family is put into GRAVE DANGER BECAUSE of MAGIC. Maybe they fall into the realm of magic and lose everything about who they are, like originally, but instead of pudding being a deus ex machina, you literally HAVE to destroy magic in order to restore those consumed by it.
Or he's led to that conclusion by Glossayrick when he vents to him in tears about his lost family, which for the record, is the reason he can now use the wand to such a flaming degree in this video, because he's been HARDCORE studying magic to learn about ways to save his family that fell into the magical realm portal between their worlds somehow.
Just imagine Hekapoo's, Tom's, Star's, and so on's reaction to the big villain actually being Marco. Now why would they NOT help him destroy magic? Because this time around, if he does that for his family, people would DIE if he destroyed magic, well, not that they didn't before, the magic high commission point out all the people who WOULD die and MIGHT die, all for Marco's need to save his family and his little Sister.
Maybe the reason he has Queen Moon in this scenario is because she fought him after realizing he's stealing the wand, and he kidnapped her to make sure nobody would know he was the one responsible until the deed was done.
Either way, just some highly compelling scenario where Marco is understandably a villain, and FREAKISHLY good at magic and combat, would be AWESOME.
(Granted I think "evil marco" in this case would be one serious force to be reckoned with, as magic seems to be an extension of power to someone's willful nature, and while Star is rebelliously willful, Marco is CONVICTION INCARNATE. The dude spent years trying to earn Star's scissors back, abandoned his family because he felt Star was unsafe, trained heavily in martial arts, and will straight PUNCH A HOLE in someone who he believes killed Star if you want proof of his grim conviction. The dude would be a SUPER COOL SUPER VILLAIN.)

Even if it wasn't a "villain/corruption" arc, Marco using the wand - or rather, not using it - is a huge missed opportunity to explore and raise the questions they wanted to in the last season about who has magic and why.

If you look at the beginning, Marco is held up in Star's room on *Earth.* Not Mewni.
Meaning:
Star *deliberately* led the Mewnian army away so she could face Marco herself.

No joke, with the amount of training, trials and overall power gain we see Marco go through as the show goes on (plus the fact that he was strong enough to be useful from the get-go) making him a villain would have been a very interesting twist, seeing him all that he learned *against* his former friends.
Also I loved the note of sad bitterness on Kelly at the end of her part. It really speaks volume about how this is more than just "good vs bad"

*Dear Art of Rhues, everything you did here can be called perfection. The way every voice from Rapunzel fits everyone you chose. Star being Rapunzel specifically is so close to herself, as in personality. Marco is so broken down that you can see cracks on his cheeks at the moons and on his arms near the end too. The use of light is irreplaceable and makes it seem the more realistic the more you look at it. You delivered us the perfect Svtfoe ending that we all didn’t know we needed and didn’t get, but thanks to you it’s reality. Thank You, eternally.* ❤️

Yes I agree although not in this way... if Marco turns to be evil then I think that he will resembale Toffe in some ways (Also I think that Toffe will return at some point I mean like other than Toffe and Marco who also has a chance at actually being evil in the next season? (Toffe also might be Seth considering Toffe said that Moon can call him like that but he didn't say if that is he's true name, Eclipsa has been proven to not be evil, Globcor might only be released later on in the season (I think that Marco will release him instead of Eclipsa and that he will be the one to find Moon) and he'll be kinda evil in the first time cuase he will try to eat Marco (and I hope that Marco will win) but then turns out to be good, Meteora is defeated and now a child, Ludo will probably want the wand again and he thinks that it's still Star's wand - good luck trying to steal it from Eclipsa ,16 lost mewmans Marco is probably one of them and they would probably rebel againts mewni at some point in the season, And my thought is that Marco is either connected to Skywynne, to Justin or to these 25 lost queens that were before Skywynne's mother (lyric or something like that) so I don't see any other villain other than Marco and Toffe).

why didn't we get this finale, i swear to god this is like a hundred times better than the one we had years ago. This just SCREAMS action and adventure, literally amazing watching this again just gave me chills !

They made it a whole thing at the beginning of the show of Marco being "The safe boy", the 2 of them being at odds is what I expected from the start. And then the episode with his father's reaction when he thought he lost everything, and how he turned from this soft, happy guy to something scary; I thought they were just planting the seeds, and we would see a like father, like son scenario.
And then with the wand in his hands, it became Demonic looking.... Ugh, they could have done so much and they gave us a sappy ending, where they literally killed their friends, but it's okay because they loved each other. ugh
And don't get me started on the whole Tom thing. He worked damn hard to make sure he was healthy enough to be in a healthy relationship with Star, only to throw it all away. Now don't get me wrong, I didn't mind the break up, it was clear, he was putting in more effort than her, but how sudden it was made no sense. That should have been something he noticed after time, since he was busy working on his own flaws and too busy in that to see hers.
I am usually an inveterate shipper, but I really did think Star/Marco was a forced pairing. They had much more best friend/brother-sister vibe than "romantic." Marco had more romantic chemistry with both Kelly and Hecapoo. And, in all honesty, spending 16 years literally chasing a woman through a world that is revelatory of who she is will teach you a lot about her. I imagine he had a lot of encounters with her duplicates throughout that time, too. Their meeting when he finally caught the last one/the real her was very much old rivals and friends congratulating each other on a game well played. Not strangers; by then, they knew each other very well.
So, while I think Marco/Kelly is a sweeter relationship, Marco/Hecapoo makes a crazy amount of sense and would have worked very, very well.
Star/Marco is... bland, as a romance. As bad as (and I know I'll get hate for this) Luz/Amity. (Which I also feel had way more best friend energy than romantic; again, it felt forced.)

Honestly Marco and Star worked perfectly as best friends,why change that?🤷 And I agree with Luz and Amity like they didn't click for me and I honestly don't understand why they ended up together,there was NO romantici chemistry,It was just awkward. Hunter and Luz seemed to me a more likely ship,I mean they had SO many moments that just helped them to grow closer and understand each other better than anyone. Like Come on. I can't be the only one to see It.
What's sad is that this guy had a better idea for a finale to Star vs than the entire writing staff on the actual show.

What idea? This clip is barely anything. It just shows Marco being on opposite sides of the rest and having the Queen captive. This is nearly the same plot like the actual series; Only the antagonist is not a former protagonist.

scenario:
sometime after the Battle of Mewni, or perhaps after the end of season three, it is revealed that Meteora wasn't the only child born of a Mewman Queen and a powerful monster- Marco too is a Mewman/monster hybrid, and has spent his whole life not knowing it. after finding out this information he goes into denial, and does whatever he can to hide it, before finally telling Star the truth about what he is, then telling her to not tell anyone about it. Star promises that she won't even speak of it. however, somehow Mina finds out about Marco's true nature. she then travels to Earth-either by herself, or with a group of like-minded soldiers-to find Marco and kill him. she first decides to search the house of Marco's family. however, Marco isn't there (if season three isn't canon Marco is on a date with Jackie, possibly to confess his true nature to her as well. if it is, he's out for other reasons) and his parents refuse to tell Mina where their son is, even though he's not truly their biological child. enraged, Mina kills them both and tears down the Diaz family home. Marco eventually does make it home, only to find it in ruins and his family dead. shocked and horrified, Marco runs away to a place where he can grieve (again, if season three isn't canon, Jackie's been with Marco this whole time, and if it is, Marco has been alone). Mina finds Marco there and attacks him. however, as Mina is about to kill Marco, the latent monster power that he had demonstrated in the Battle of Mewni by punching Toffee through the chest and surviving being thrown by him awakens again. in addition to this, the blue crescent moon cheekmarks appear as well. with this new strength Marco overpowers the Solarian warrior, either burying her alive or killing her off screen. he then heads to Mewni, barging into the castle and confronting Star. at this point, Marco is convinced that Star broke her promise and told her parents about his nature as a hybrid, which resulted in Moon sending Mina after him and causing the series of events that followed. Star denies this, obviously, which makes Marco angrier. eventually they fight, and their battle creates utter chaos throughout the castle. this prompts Moon to order an evacuation of the castle. during the fight Star gets ahold of Marco's sweater, and by the end of it Marco takes the wand. Star does manage to escape, but her mother isn't so lucky-Marco hits her over the head with the wand as she tries to escape the castle, knocking her unconscious. now Marco has the wand, and is holding the queen hostage. he has the power to exact vengeance upon his former friend for her betrayal, upon the kingdom for taking his parents, upon literally everything and everyone to do with Star for dragging him and his family into the plot of the series. if Marco isn't stopped somehow-either convinced or cast down-all of Mewni is doomed.....
edit: now that i think of it, it would probably make more sense for Moon to have offered herself as a hostage so Star could get away, or perhaps fight Marco to buy time for Star to get away. whichever is more in line with her personality, i suppose.

Shortly after Star leaves Earth Marco is devastated that she left that he falls into a deep depression Toffee some what surviving his death has a score to settle with Star he travels to Earth looking for her eventually arriving at the Diaz's house up on entering Toffee sees Marco's parents.Marco runs down stairs to see Toffee standing there he uses his scissors to travel to Mewni to escape.Destroyed after losing everything he had he blames it on star in an attempt to get back his parents he steals the wand from Star and travels back to Earth to look for Mewni they have a battle which Marco wins.Marco decides to keep the wand to kidnap the queen

The animation idea is interesting. If this happened in the cartoon Star vs. the Forces of Evil, it would be an interesting ending to the plot. And the animation itself and the colors of the atmosphere are pleasing to the eye. The author is great!!

Marcos parents were injured in the crossfire of another monster and mewman war. Thinking that Star may have a healing spell, Marco goes to Star and ask for help, but she turns him down because she’s dealing with the fight at hand and can’t leave to help. But, when Marco comes back to check on his parents but finds that they died because of their wounds. He also finds out that his mother was pregnant and he also just lost an unborn sibling.
Betrayed and enraged by this, Marco waits till the war is over and kidnaps Moon while also stealing the wand. Using his karate skills and with the threat of killing Moon, while the kingdom is still reeling from the war, Marco gets control of the castle, demanding that Star be brought to him or there will be war. This is where the video starts and you see everything play out.

Hi storytime.
Imagine that pretty much the entirety of season four does not exist, especially not the ending. Magic has clearlt not been destroyed, there are definitely multiple universes, yada yada yada.
Anyway, let's begin.
There is a war between the humans and the mewmans. Why, you may ask? Well, Star had created a portal, but never closed it. A few humans wandered inside, and tragically died from an evil monster. Of course, the earthlings don't understand that not everyone from Star's homeland is evil, and wage war.
Marco's beloved parents got caught in the middle of it. They were not fighting, they were doing nothing. Marco, Star, and Mr. And Mrs. Diaz were hiding in their home while everything else went to h-ll. Suddenly, the house is broken into, and Marco's parents are horribly killed, Marco and Star barely making it out alive.
Marco is *pissed.* He believe that this is all Star's fault; if she hadn't made one of her stupid portals, none of this would've happened. So, he takes his own pair of interdimensional scissors and tears open a portal right into the castle, entrapping the queen in a tower. But not before tearing off his hoodie, as he knew it would hurt Star for him to do that.
Anything to make her feel the same pain he did.
The rest of Mewnie are like OH CRAP THE QUEEN. So, while the war rages on, Kelly grabs her own group of soldiers to save Queen Moon. Kelly does, however, feel tremendous guilt about this. After all, Marco WAS their friend before all of this.
Meanwhile, Star is also feelimg guilty. After all, she *did* unintentionally start a war resulting in Marco's parents' deaths and her own mother's emprisonment. She just can't let Marco go, though. There must be some way to get him back! There must be skme way she can fix all of this. She could go mess arpund with time again... She would do anything she could to fix this.
She discusses with her father what she would do, dramatically tying Marco's hoodie around her own neck.
The song ends abruptly, and one can only guess what happens next.
Just as endings should be.

Personally, I find River and Kelly's "voices" closer than Toms. Just my opinion.
If they ever remake SVTFOE: THIS is how the finale should be. And it doesn't matter if it's a cliffhanger or a bittersweet ending, it would definetly be a better conclusion compared to what we got.

Can we talk about how angry Marco would have to be to do something like this? We are talking Star would have had to been directly responsible for whatever caused this.
Although I have no problem with how the show turned out, especially as the show had a 4 season cap, if it _was_ longer and explored more about Marco's wand and Marco did end up turning evil, like an irredeemable villain, it would've been really interesting to see what happens.

the finale they came up with was too rushed
but it was not necessarily a bad one
if they had developed the narrative as they did in the first, second and third (until toffee was defeated) seasons and did not focus that much on shipping starco, it could have been way better

Yeah, i only remembered that marco was a man in a child's body after the magical painting episode where star has to answer the second questionaire for him cus he can't move. The look on marco's parents' faces when star answers that marco is like 36 years old or something to one of the quesrions was priceless.

I doubt they would do that since the show is over and this seems to be in a timeline before the ending. Plus they can't make just one episode since Disney allows atleast 20 episodes a season so having this as an episode will get us a season 5 so i'm in for it.
@@pochie7827 They could just end up doing a one off on UA-cam or some shit, it would technically work since they created the show. Plus theoretically different universes and shit and different time lines so it could work. But I wasn't disappointed by the ending we got, but I wasn't overly excited about it either.

It’s easy to forget that Marco isn’t just some teen. He traveled through dimensions for sixteen years; sixteen years learning how to survive, how to fight, and how to achieve a singleminded goal. If properly motivated, he could be a very dangerous enemy.

The funny thing is I believe he forgots some of that knowledge when he isn't in his adult form... That and his teen body isn't capable of pulling off what he knows since his body is physically not prepared or capable of using his skills.... Then again he punchs a hole through Toffee's chest when he is angry enough. Or kicking down a locked door with magic chains and locks on it.
When it comes to magic Marco has little to no control or willpower over it. As seen when he succumbs to the Monster Arm, Eclipsa's chapter, and using the all seeing eye spell. He has alot of power though, his magic being more volatile and dangerous. As shown when he losses control with Eclipsa's chapter or blows himself up with the all seeing eye.
Honestly can't wait for next season. Makes me wonder if Marco will use the wand again. I mean his cheek marks have been hinted and is building up to something, in a similar manner with Eclipsa, and Meteora being royalty. So something is going to happen and it has me excited.
Villian Marco isn't really possible in the show, but its a really nice idea. Seeing Villian counterparts of good guys reminds us they are human and victims of their emotions just a people are now. Rather than just inherently good no matter what.

Don't forget he held off all of Star's spells, including Warnicorn stampede and Spider with a Top Hat Blast. Combine that with the fact that he was able to cast one of Star's spells successfully on the first try, and I wouldn't doubt he may be the strongest on the show if he gets ahold of her wand.
And he knows how to use the wand and knows karate and knows how to use a sword

Yeah haha I've watched it. And I wanted to see the part where Star/Rapunzel said "I'll save my home and family" to see which had more emotion.
This is absolutely fantastic! I haven't even seen this show (yet) and I don't know the characters much beyond Star and Marco's names but the visual storytelling is so good. (Yes, I know this is a fanmade scene and the song is from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. But the idea that Marco is confident facing an army with only Star's wand says a lot.) The colors fit so well together, and I love a lot of the details. Like Star wrapping Marco's hoodie over her shoulders. And that lightning strike at the end gives me chills. I love this!

It could be a possibilty. He has the magic cheek glowing business when he used Star's wand. A moon. I don't how or why but it means something about him being also partially royal. Heck, he might be even a very very VERY far away cousin of Star. Maybe at some point he'll be more powerful than her.
Which makes the video even more compelling since its going to be a possibility he might lose control or get mind controlled by Globgore or something.

It probably the reason I like this better than the original, because there no one seems not even a little sad or worried for Varian himself, and I get that his actions were...well not the best, but they were supposed to be his friends while in this you can clearly see, not only Kelly, but everyone doesn't really want to fight marco
That's what I also noticed, in Tangled Varian's father is trapped and he only wanted ro free him.
