Screen shot yeah!! 💯👍
How often should be applied?
Thank you❤
A man here in san antonio had his hands and toes amputated because of a flea bite.
Make sure to only do your cat once a week, dogs 2 to 3 times ❤.
Thank you Dr Jones for a safe recipe to get rid of fleas and ticks. My little one has picked up the big runner fleas from going out to potty and I do not want to put spray or flea collar on him because of the chemicals. This is the deep south and fleas are awful this yr and never had this problem in 8 yrs with my baby. Will be getting these ingredients for making this spray. God bless you and again thank you.❤❤❤❤
Can you tell me did you try this recipe and was it effective? I'm looking for an actual repellant, to discourage parasites from jumping on my dog and cats in the first place- as opposed to something that will kill them AFTER my pets have picked them up. I'd welcome anything you care to share on your experience with this recipe and thank you!
Thank you dear Dr Andrew! My indoor kitties keep getting a few- maybe it’s the squirrels 🐿️ on the patio? Plus am adopting another rescue dog soon - our beloved Lorenzo died of cancer age 10.5. I’ve purchased wondercide with cedar for our pets, but line the idea of making my own and will be more affordable in the long run. 🌿❤️
I'm confused because I've watched 4 videos you do where this recipe changes everytime. Whats up? Have you not found the right mixture? What one really works? You change everything from ingredients to solutions. One has no castile soap, 1 has lavender, 1 has 30 drops of 1 oil the other has 10 of the same oil. Can we get a update video with 100% accurate mixture. I keep buy stuff from amazon but then it changes.
This one is safer for cats as well. They all work choose the best for your pet😊
I just read it should be cedarwood atlas essential oil. Some of the other types of cedar oil can be highly toxic to dogs.
Wtf
Thank you, this is very helpful. Just ordered it with the other ingredients 🌿
Thank you short n sweet
I'm so glad we don't have those issues where we live but I'm telling family about this💕👍. My sister has four dogs and doesn't like to use chemicals
Crazily enough, I don’t have animals but my boyfriend is a flea and spider magnet lol
Lol Maybe this will work for him. 😂
Doc, why don't you just make these and sell to us that don't want to go around looking for all these ingredients. 🙋♀️ I would buy them from you.
Cause it’s cheaper to make it yourself lol and he would rather get out the knowledge as opposed to trying to profit off of it
I don’t think he’s allowed to
Gratitude & thank you!
thank YOU! :)
You are such a BLESSING!!! Thank you! ❤️
Love this remedy.😊 all natural .thanks dr. Jones.
Thank you Doctor Jones ❤
Thanks.. much love
I am eager to try this, but in a previous video you mentioned that you could not recommend neem oil to be put directly on cats because they could luck themselves. In that video it was still a low percentage. This video is more recent and I am curious why your opinion has changed. Thanks!
Wtf see what I mean loads of stuff is being contradicted in his videos ffs
@@tashaax1993xanimalloverx I found a different recipe in another video. The clinically certified aromatherapist that I follow only recommends hydrosols for cats, and no Neem oil.
All of that aside, a proper formulation would be measured by weight, not volume. IE ounces, grams... No cups, drops, and so on.
@roberts.valkyrie see this is what I mean...y would this guy recommend it then ? He's a vet ...gets me so angry thank u for telling Me
The cedarwood essential oil gave my dog cluster seizures off and on all day and most of the night yesterday . Thanks Dr.
I'm just putting this warning out there. Be very careful with these "home"remedies you never know how it may affect your dog. What may be ok for yours is not ok for mine . My precious little dachshund could have died and is still not out of the woods. Neem oil is questionable also.
First sorry to hear this. Was it diluted to 2% or less?
@@blackweavesmatted6241 I’ hope your sweet baby is doing better. However I would add, I’m not sure any treatment is without risk.
@@blackweavesmatted6241 it works on my Bichon Friese who has seizures on all FDA approved tick & flea pills, sprays, collars. He was treated for seizures until I took him completely away from flea & tick products & realized it was something all those products have that gave him seizures.
Thank you for your great tips 😊
Thank you!!
Love this idea!! Thank You
Thank You So Much Dr.!! God Bless!!
I’m going to try!!😊
Thank you!!!!
Can I use this for my ferrets?
I would love to know how often to apply this, I see many others would love to know this also.
He's got another vid on this. Cats, once a week. Dogs 2 to 3 times a week.
Anyone know will this kill the pesky flea eggs too
Brilliant thank you always
You're very welcome 😊
Thanks for the tip. I saw another one of your videos that only included the use of coconut oil and Neem oil. Will that be less effective without the witch hazel and cedar oil?
Only issue i had with it was all the coconut oil smeared all over my bed off the dog haha lucky i ise an old blanket over my bedding to keep dirt and drool off my bedding lol
Oh, I listened again and heard you say the oil is not going to mix very well with the water from the Witch Hazel.
Nice
Just put that in the garden if your plants are infected
How come it's without the cedarwood and castille soap in another ?
At the end of your video you mentioned water, was it included in the bottle of liquid Castille soap? Or do you add water to the recipe, and if so how much?
Is it okay if my dog licks his fur after spraying this ? I am trying to monitor them but they sneak a few licks
Can you use this on a nursing mother dog or 5 week old pups? They are long haired chihauhaus.
How about people. Can people use this spray when camping hiking etc
I did all the ingredients the ingredients above but I am allergic to the cedar oil , so i did lemon oil I hope it will work to keep the bugs away! How often is recommended for applying does anyone know?
If you don’t have cedar oil, what else do you recommend? And will it still be as effective without it? Thanks!! 🙏🏽
Does this also handle mosquitos?
My dog accidentally drank the tick & flea spray, is it poisonous to them?
Ticks are BAD in Michigan, it’s getting worse year after year...
Can this mixture be used on humans and kids?
Spray on clothing?
Yes
Plzzz anyone tell witch hazel with aloe is a toner is it safe to use???
What if you cant use coconut oil? Husb deathly allergic.
Can I use a different soap? I don't have Castile soap
How often do i have to spray dig?
Do u have some thing to help with bed bugs as well as bird lice mites? Please let me know ty.
If I use unsecured castle soap to barge my dog , will this flea prevention still be safe to use on her ,afterward ?
How often would you recommend doing this? I'm in SC and haven't had much luck with natural flea and tick prevention. Thanks! Great videos!
I would love to know how this works for your pup in your area. I would think it would safe enough to use daily. But for me personally, I would at least rinse them off with warm water once a week to keep it from building up on their skin. I hope you let us know Louilou how it works for you. SC has some serious fleas and tix.
Cats 1x/wk
Dogs 2-3x/wk
Hi lorilou are you having any luck with this spray?
I like this doctor, but he never answers anyone, and I read in someone else's comment how he's changed on some of the ingredients that aren't safe for cats. And he never answered. People ask for his help, but he never replies
Will this work on people?
Zote soap
Dear Dr, is it cedar ESSENTIAL oil?
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Neem oil can burn skin on contact concentrated, even diluted it's still questionable to add it as a direct spray to the skin. And leaving soap (whatever kind) to sit on the animal is also not recommended. I like your other remedy better including Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera, Lemon oil, Lavender oil & Cedarwood oil. I have not used it yet, but I plan on making some soon.
-from a professional dog groomer
Would you happen to have the measurements for this remedy?
Lavender can ve deadly
I really want to trust this, but there’s just not enough information here. Is it because you aren’t permitted to get too explicit on this platform? Application? For which age animals range? What weight of animal? How often? What is the dosage per weight? What specific kind of cedar wood oil, not all are created equal. How can this information be put into practice while protecting precious pets.
I have a question I sprayed my cat lightly this morning. This afternoon about 10 fleas on the top of his coat they were not jumping but slowly moving . When applied to the coat does it slowly kill the flea's? And on a cat can I over spray them to the point of harming them ? I sprayed lightly but don't know if I sprayed enough. I did omit the neem oil and added catnip oil instead
Wonder if I sub with tea tree oil
@@utexasnurse5401 tea tree oil is not dog or cat safe!
How often should we apply this please?
Cats 1x/wk
Dogs 2-3x/wk
@@basha0810 Thank you!!
Do you think this would be good for us humans as well? I hate Deet.
I'm going to try it! All the ingredients are safe, and I will KNOW then how it will feel to my pups. Great question!
@@chinookvalley I will be interested to hear an update!
definitely!
My pup like to lick especially his paw. Is this spray safe ?
Hi, better to use Bitter Apple Spray
I thought need oil was bad for animals
Oh updated recipe?? I was using your old one which included Aloe Vera Juice, lemon and lavender….
Yes, but both work
I visited a few cites yesterday. And here but the 2 recipes you showed were NEITHER of these. I guess your just trying out all the natural herbs & soap ingredients (throwing various mixtures together) j
@@VeterinarySecrets Can you please tell me how many times per week I need to use this for doggie?
I took some store bought flea and tick repellant spray with me camping last year, and when I sprayed the dogs blanket with it ticks swarmed to it from all corners of the forest, the floor was crawling with them I'll never buy that again
Yikes!!!!! 😲
Lyme for you, anaplasmosis for you, some more Lyme, ehrlichiosis for you, renal damage for everybody.
