  • The "Hellwig Bigwig" sway bar is big and hefty, however the Hellwig end links design is flawed and not sufficient to support the tremendous torque from the 15/16 inch sway bag. More AfterMarket Mayhem, we improve the end link position and design for a solid addition to the truck rear suspension. No more delayed sway bar engagement.

I checked the invoice from "SD Truck Springs, but the part number is not on the invoice. The Big Wig Sway bar has a diameter of 1 5/16th inch. The fix is still working great, no more clunking. Thank you.

My 2023 F350 clunks also, very annoying. I discovered they use 7/16 bolts on the end links thru the sway bar adjustment hole that is 1/2 inch diameter allowing 1/8 inch movement on each side which causes the clunking sounds.

I have the same truck and same set up. Did you make sure that your end link bolts were tight to the point where they were bottoming against the metal bushing that runs through the rubber end link bushing? I videoed mine while rocking the truck back-and-forth vigorously and didn’t see any movement in the end link versus sway bar end. So far, I haven’t experienced any clunking, but I have noticed there is still a fair amount of sway at low speeds over driveway, entrances, etc. I have the Bilstein 5100 shocks, front and rear and the stock front sway bar installed. I also have the upper and lower torklift stableloads installed.

You should make and market those! How did you negotiate the “tight side”?

I checked the SD Truck Springs invoice and no part number is listed. The Big Wig sway bar is 1 5/16th inch in diameter. The fix is still going strong, no clunking. Thank you.
