good review neil ive just bought the same drone i want to use it for looking at roofs for my job save me having to get the ladders out and after watching your vlog i think it will do nicely cheers mate
Nice honest review Neil, I just purchased the HS700D, got an awesome deal on it and have not had a chance to fly it yet. I am not expecting the best camera results but it should be well worth the money I paid ( $250 CDN with two batteries vs $665.00 CDN DJI Mavic mini 2 with three batteries) AS long as the performance is good I will be a happy flyer :)
I have two DJI drones but occasionally they refuse to take off in zones I am authorized for. I'm usually only after a 1080p picture. Using it in 4k will allow cropping a bit. Nice review mate!
I have this drone and I think the transmitter works horribly. I understand the price is very low. However, if I am in a park and hikers are near I am terrified as if often does not reply to commands for long periods. Thank goodness it stays in the air, but that loss of control is not a good feeling. I live in the US, and perhaps there is more interference than the UK. I would be curious to hear if others had the transmitter issues. Im am probably going to return and get DJI Mini 2. Good luck!
That’s good to know. I didn’t really have any issues when I tested it. Regardless of if it’s a low price it still needs to be safe so thanks for taking the time to share your experience with the drone 👍🏻
Nice drone. I recently got myself a Holystone HS720 for £203.99 last Dec. It looks similar to that one. I only live a 15minute walk from that field between Goring and Ferring. A good area to fly around as well as the Southdowns.
@@neilcollinsrecording It has all the same features as HS700E. I noted that in low sunlight, sometimes the contrast and color sometimes change and you may have to change manually. When in the hills, sometimes there is a bit of a breeze, the drone footage is sometimes jumpy or jerky. I've been trying to work on smooth turns. I will have to try the Steyning Bowl. I have been to the Cross Dyke between chantry Hill and Kithurst Hill, Chanctonbury Ring, and Newtimber Hill.
Well if you don't like your money then give it to holy stone. And tou too can receive a piece of trash in the mail. I flew this thing 5 times and it no longer has a functioning wifi that your phone can connect to. Reducing my purchase to garbage.
That's no good. I only used it a couple of times so could only go off of that experience, that's why comments like this are really important. Thanks for sharing my friend
@@neilcollinsrecording haha yea I had to rewind to see if I heard that right. But thanks for the info, I ended up with the HS700e today and just had my first few flights
@@neilcollinsrecording so far so good. I’m currently at the beach for a week and planning on taking it out today. I’ve been just a bit cautious about flying it over the ocean so far…the only thing I’ve found that almost made me return it was when I saw that starting in 2023 all US drones will need a transponder! I haven’t seen anywhere that HolyStone has any type of plan for this. Hopefully they won’t be obsolete in a years time
If you’ve got experience with this drone then please do tell us in the comments your experience, it helps others make a decision if they are looking at getting one 👍🏻
Excellent review and it taught me a few things above and beyond what the HolyStone app does in the Ophelia Go application. Many thanks!

Let me know how you get on with it? 👍🏻
Holy Stone has a great drone!
Have you got one?
Nice review as always bro
Thanks my friend 👍

Let me know how you get on? I’m always keen to hear how others find these drones so please do check in and let us know how she flies?
Another great review! I have the mini so I think I'll stick with that but this ones good for the money
It’s got a lot of bang for the buck. If they can fix the camera levelling issues it could be a real contender 👍🏻

Glad you enjoyed the review 👍

What Pioneer and Teach said! Defective. Dangerous.

How are you finding the HS720? Its a great spot for flying for sure as is the South Downs. Steyning Bowl is a particular favourite of mine 👍

Wow it survived the crash on the wall? Thanks for the review
It did, not a scratch really 👍
Can you tell me the location of the GPS Antenna? Want to install a Anti-Collision Strobe when i receive my HS 400E
No idea tbh, probably best to contact Holystone direct to check 👍🏻
Really keen to see what you guys think? Is there a space in the market for these more budget but spec laden drones? COMMENT BELOW
Great review, what does it smell like? 😊
Plastic!
Wait!!!… who’s dog is that?? Lmao

The 300 dollars drone isn't good
