      Grow up little boy and stop spewing immature disgusting filth, especially in public and over a state-owned radio, which profanity is a $10,000 fine by the FCC.
      How sad to know that your father and mother utterly failed to raise you to be a real man, a true gentleman of moral character.
      Instead, you sound like just another ignorant inbred redneck or BLM street thug who failed English vocabulary.

      @ There are too many people out there that have more need. This hurricane caused so much trouble. So sad. I hope that habitat for humanity can help build homes. The roads and bridges will need rebuilding. And all the trash and trees removed from lakes and rivers. The river near us has flooded 4-5 times since 1980. But this one took out bridges, road caved into river, and left areas impassable for safety reasons. Pray that the response doesn’t go away. Help will be needed for a year at least.

      It’s full of toxins! The plastics plant released chemicals when buildings were damaged, other manufacturers plants had chemicals, the sewage plant, the raw sewage from septic tanks, the cars fuel, oil, transmission fluids, houses that were swept away had cleaning chemicals, deceased wildlife, and to put it delicately, loss of human life. Reports are coming in that trained cadaver dogs, 4 have died recently and 6 others are very sick not expected to live. They were searching in areas of water & mud. The silt is very toxic too. 12 horses rescued from flood water, tested off the charts of toxins and are very ill. These guys working in this need to have full mask respiratory with filters, changed every day, special haze at suits, boots and gloves. Volunteers black boots are turning green! Everyone’s health is at risk.

      It’s not just river beds - it’s landslides. Basically if the land is naturally flat, it is going to flood eventually, if there is bare rock above, it’s a land slide risk. Chimney Rock ticked both those boxes…

    I'm curious, do you know if cadaver dogs have already gone through these piles of debris for human remains? I used to live in NC and we would go to the mountains all the time. Thank you for doing why you have been doing to help these communities get back on their feet.

    too bad they don't make vacuum pumps for mud, wonder if a septic tank truck would work

    • @allangibson8494
      @allangibson8494 2 місяці тому +3

      They do make vacuum pumps for mud. They use them for “digless excavation” round sewers and underground power lines.
      The capacity is a bit limited however (about half a normal dump truck).
      The slightly more aggressive ones are used for opal mining where they vacuum the rock out of the mine and dump it on the surface.
