His parents have obviously spent a lot of quality time with him. He seems to be well mannered and extremely bright. I love the way you are keeping his mind on stuff other than what is going on in his immediate surroundings, but still letting him talk about what has happened. I wish every young person had that experience. God bless all of you

I live in the first house on the road behind the fire department. The property owner also owns that old looking tall building across the river behind the fire department.
I want to let you guys know how much the community here appreciates your help. You guys have done an incredible job with the debris removal. Words can never explain how grateful we are for your team and everything here you have done.
That kid in the videos is an outstanding fellow! He is one of the best kids I've ever met, he's got a heart of gold, has respect for others, and the family is absolutely wonderful people.

All of that stuff was just recently a part of everyday people's everyday lives. Now it's just debris. And there is a story behind every piece. One can only imagine the story, and the fear and the loss and the heartbreak. As hard as it is to see this, it must be a 1,000 times harder for those of you that have to deal with it everyday now. Like you said, there is no words.

Your videos have really brought home how much damage has occurred from Helene. I was certainly aware of the power outages and the remoteness of some people and how hard it is to get to them, but the clean-up is just mind-boggling. There is so much debris and it's all mixed up so you need to separate it out - a HUGE job. You guys at King's Excavation are awesome and I think it's great you've taken on a new local crew man! Keep up the good work.

I keep thinking about all that firewood. We are in the middle of cutting and splitting and stacking wood for the winter at our home in WI. But that muddy stuff is likely contaminated and would have to be debarked, which is hard if it doesn't happen naturally. No, I don't think the wood in the mud and river could be salvageable for building materials. Trees that stayed above the flood would be ok but need to be milled and kiln dried. You would need a bunch of logs to build even a small log cabin, and the skills, time, and manpower. So right now the best use of wood that's not muddy is burning for heat. I hope a lot of people have wood stoves. Chainsaws and splitters would be great too.

I’m so..forever sorry this ever, ever happened in any given state with all the devastation everyone has unfortunately endured. God bless us all, for the unnatural that happens to us. Bless us all. I finally got around to sending some funds to help folks out.

These people are not giving up!! They are doing the best they can with what they have. Thank goodness the citizens care because the government sure doesn’t 👎🏻
