    Excellent tutorial video. I have 6 of these machines (IPSO) that I plan to keep on running.

    🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
    Steps to replace the dryer belt include removing upper and lower lint trays, unscrewing panels, disconnecting wires from the door switch, and removing the drum.
    To remove the drum, insert a wood drill bit into a hole to stop it from spinning, then remove the nut and washer from the drum shaft.
    Inspect and clean components like the felt seal, rollers, and rear drum shaft bearing.
    Warm up the new belt before installation to make it more pliable and easier to work with.
    Carefully thread the belt around the drum and motor shaft, ensuring it's properly seated on the idler pulley.
    Reassemble the dryer, ensuring all screws and parts are properly secured, and check for proper operation.

    Great vacuum power. Awesome belt replacement tutorial. 👨‍🔧 I am sure it has helped out in changing the belt.

    Here is a way to get extra long life out of your rollers. Before installing new rollers, I suggest soaking the bearing material in oil for a day. I've done this by taping over one side of the bearing and laying it flat on that side. Then I pour oil (not wd40, but a thicker oil than wd40) into to opening and let it sit for a day. Bearings believe it or not, actually absorb oil. Before using this routine, my rollers would wear out very fast. I don't exactly remember how many months I got out of a set, but I do remember that the first set was replaced under warranty on my unit that was purchased in 2009. I know the last time I installed new rollers was in 2017 (this being January 2024). They are still working fine.

    I service a local laundry machines. Putting that damn belt in the dryer housing without the plastic clips sucks. If I made a video it would've took me 10 tries and about 4 F words. Great video buddy.

      Thanks, sorry but I just rebooted so I'm not going to be repairing anything for some time. It's sooo nice to not have to repair stuff all the time and my revenue has increased over $10k a month instantly. I should have retooled before the pandemic and I would have saved a lot of money.

    If a belt falls off while in operation, does the dryer cut the heat or does it just sit there continuing to heat, potentially starting a fire?

    • @outofline9999
      @outofline9999  Рік тому +1

      It will still heat with the drum not spinning but the two thermostats will maintain a safe temperature so a fire should not be a problem!
