FYI, I had a problem with no heat and found that the centrifugal switch on the blower motor was not making good contact not completing the circuit for calling for heat.
Hi, My top STT30N stackable tumbler constantly fire up for a minute and then no fire after a minute. After a minute it fire up again and continuing doing it. What seems to be the problem?
Our top machine won't start. Bottomworks fine... Motor spins with or without belt for 1-3 seconds and then stops. Tried another good motor and it does the same thing. Voltage to the machine is good. Any ideas?
Hello, I have speed queen st 30"s The top and bottom unit both will start and ignite the fire but when the igniter stops the fire goes out 3 seconds after. I swapped all sensors, relay, igniter box, solenoid coils on gas valve and get same result. Checked both thermosters are reading 0 ohms. I also opened both exhaust ports on top and bottom in case of a clogged exhaust clog's. Confirmed the air flap is being drawn closed and verified the switch is good. Any idea?
Wow! I have a group of 5, 2006 STO300DRG stacks. I'm just beginning the task of replacing gas valves. Have you had to at anytime replace gas valves? I replaced rear components and still came up with intermittent heating conditions. This group of dryers ar the oldest of 16 stacks....

speed queen doesn't stop spinning only when i take it off let it unplug. It is double, one below or another above, thank you very much in advance

What is the make, model and year of your dryer?
check relay or just replace it and see if that takes care of problem. Sometimes, relay contacts don't sit properly
