Trevor’s done more for the game of baseball in like 4 months than Manfred has as commissioner... and it’s not even close

Best pitcher in MLB hands down. He has a passion for spreading knowledge to others.

FUTURE VIDEO IDEA: Your favorite shoulder mobility exercises, I have low ER/IR measurements (113 degrees ER) would love any advice on how to increase that and/or maintain that ROM after a start
Maybe you could do it like
    -describe mobility and it’s importance
    -how to gain it (shoulder/hip)
    -how to maintain it

So for YEARS AND YEARS we've been fed the same information about baseball and now with the internet and new sports tech and medical developments we have so much more info. Its the advanced info Bauer gives us that we'd only get if we were a pro. Also the baseball nerds like "simple sabermetrics" give an in-depth view of the game. I wish this was around 20 years ago.

Too bad most coaches are stubborn and don’t want to believe modern research bc they teach what they were taught when they were young

Yup lol. Coaches probably hate TB because hes smart, he knows what hes doing and researches everything he does.
Edit: Please help Lorenzen! I felt for him and his last outing, good dude, insane talent (fan since he was here at CSUF)

When I was at juco (cerritos junior college) our pitching coach would make us run 4 miles after after start the next day, we called them the "mall run" since it was around the Cerritos Mall haha. When I got to D1 (csun) im pretty sure we ran around 16 miles a day lol (if you count every thing you did from wake up to sleep). It was insane running.

I hope the Angels pick you up next year bud! You would be a good fit for that club, they need a mentor like you to help their young pitching staff. Trout and Maddon would love a player like you, especially Maddon. Maddon likes to think outside the box and will be willing to let you explore more of your methods. Trout needs to make it to the playoffs and he's wasting away his talent. I would love to see you be the #1 starter for the Angels next year. Best of luck to you as a free agent, you deserve a good long contract. I love Clev too bud! Is he a lost son of Joe Maddon? lol kidding Joe and Clev seem like really laid back people and passionate on what they do.

Hey Trevor, have you ever tried implementing a swimming routine into your recovery process? I feel like swimming puts minimal stress on the joints while allowing your body to regain mobility as you mentioned. I would love to hear your thoughts on this possible recovery method! Thanks!

    • @al1976-v7m

I also like swimming for workout/recovery, however keep in mind that the shoulder movement patterns are similar to throwing unless you do backstroke, which is what I would recommend

Is there a preferred arm slot - 3/4 or over the top for the maximum fastball effectiveness in a pitcher

You should look at your C-reactive protein and Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (non-specific). These show the amount of inflammation in your body. When you get microtears, your body tries to rush blood to those sites to repair it. With that you get inflammation.

So many coaches are so dumb these days. I can’t believe so many coaches still think long-distance running is good in anyway for pitchers. It can actually hurt their performance.
