The plant in the navy planter I think is called Florida Beauty I have one. The Lowe's had a pretty good selection. I did laugh when you said for the record... yes we have all had that happen with an overwatered plant.
Yup, Dracaena surculosa “Florida beauty” or “Gold Dust” One of my favorite plants tbh considering mine was also a big box store small pot for like $4. Mine is now about 2ft tall and the leaves are soooooo gorgeous with the speckling. Highly recommend, they are planty 😇, very easy care.
Good to see you're making yourself at home in Philly. I would have certainly grabbed that Baltic blue... and maybe another raven zz even though I already have one
I was surprised to see so many ZZ plants there! I wonder if you could have taken the branch that fell off and tried to propagate it? I love air plants! Did you see the double hanging pots that I won? I put Spanish Moss in them and it’s the perfect lightweight, hanging plant! I soak them for an hour once a week - every other week in the winter, and I’ve had mine for years and they have babies. They’re so easy, but make a great statement! Okay, I’ve never heard of a Baltic Blue - is that a new variety that’s out? I would have liked to see the variety of snake plants, as I really like them as well… Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴🌵
I should've taken it! I've never propped a ZZ before, but I know they can propagate by leaf so it probably would've worked! And I just looked and that's such a cute idea - I love the idea of using spanish moss to spice up a pot! Baltic Blue is a new Costa Farms item that a lot of people have been talking about. It seems relatively similar to the Cebu Blue but the leaves fenestrate a lot more easily. I totally regret not picking it up, so I'm hoping it's still there next time I go!
The "oh shit - okay for the record: that stem is completely rotted so it wasn't my fault" got me to subscribe 😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha 😂😂 Thank you for subscribing!!

I wish my Lowe's had the ZZ Ravens.
:( Hopefully they start carrying them someday soon!
